And even though it's not "horror" in a traditional sense, this movie remains my absolute favorite of all-time... And it takes place during the Halloween season. A man comes back from the dead for revenge. That makes it horror in my eyes. I also love the fact that it takes place in Detroit, story wise, and including Devil's Night and a local band was featured on the wall of the club. Not sure if it was the band that Eric was supposed to be in or next to his band, been so long since I have seen it, but I just remember when it came out there was a flyer for an actual band in the Detroit music scene.

I was thinking of going to see the new movie Smile tomorrow but forgot my local theater only shows movies starting at 4PM during the week, no matinee during the week. I already have plans to go to the atmospheric theater built in the late 1920s to watch Alien. They are doing horror/scary/Halloween themed movies all month. For $12 I get a GA ticket, a hot dog, a drink of my choice including beer/wine and small popcorn with free refills. Can't beat that. Next week it is the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

I was watching Last Man On Earth with Vincent Price on Monday and beyond realizing how ripe it is for MST3K to have some fun with an idea popped into my head. A ghost story/horror or comedy movie and one of the ghosts in the movie would be one of those holograms they do for music acts bud one of Vincent Price. I think it could be a blast if done right.

Just finished watching Friday the 13th part 1-6 (my favorite slasher franchise!) now I like to watch more hidden gems during October like The Burning, Maniac Cop, Prince of Darkness, Edge of the Axe ect. And of course, Halloween 3 and The Thing

I'd watch that. I always enjoy a movie starring St. Louis' own Vincent Price--even if he was a hologram!

Never been a horror movie guy. But this year I plan to finally watch the original Halloween. Its a classic and about time I've seen it. You should contact Guinness because this may be a record. Halloween is our twins favorite horror film. A Halloween tradition in our house. I’m a horror film buff. My favorite horror film is definitely Let The Right One In. Highly recommended. Best vampire movie I’ve ever watched. Did you see that Showtime is doing a Let The Right One In series? I think it might be out now.

I'm not big on telling people what to watch, but would NOT recommend the new Hellraiser on hulu. There's just nothing to it. Two hours of waiting for something cool or interesting and getting nothing but some updated designs on the Cenobites. The entire last half of the movie looks like a tour through a really tame haunted house during Halloween season. "Ooooh, there's a scary monster walking down that hall! Hey, Pinhead is standing in the door! Cool FX, dude." Really though, in my opinion this is a franchise that's been getting along on nothing but cool character designs since 1987 anyway. I keep giving them a chance, but keep getting disappointed.

I will tell everyone...do not watch the new Halloween Ends. Dreadful, horrid, dumb, whatever you want to say. I turned it off and I'm a huge Halloween movie nerd. I'm glad I watched on Peacock because I'd been pissed off if I paid money for it. I seriously can't believe it got green lit.

Like you, glad I watched it on Peacock so at least I didn't waste money on a ticket. Probably will take your advice and skip this one.
