~KB~ 1)Are we really feeding into this? I guess my questioned would be, why does it matter? Why should everything revolve around who someone has physical relations with or what set of reproductive parts they have? Should it matter? These questions should've never been asked in the first place. The fact the one promoter created the thread is proof that it did matter to at least one person and possibly more. If the thread wasn't a topic you were interested in then you should have ignored it and moved on. You may not have realized(or maybe you did and just didn't care) that this question is used time and time again by hateful antiLGBTQA+ bigots to try and silence the voice of the LGBTQA+ community when they attempt to have any sort of discussion. So, my intolerance and hate comes from asking a question? Wow... Okay... bear805 Like "Emperor Norton" (Mark T) , allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kevin Butcher and again like Mark, I've been a member of this community for many-many years. My daughter is a lesbian and is legally married to a woman, so don't preach to me about tolerance and hate. I love my daughter dearly and support her in everything she does in life, because love and happiness are all that matters in life. After fifteen years, and five kids, she finally got out of an abusive marriage and finally found happiness. She managed to put herself through school and achieve her dream of being an RN, while still raising 5 incredible kids. I'm proud of my daughter and ALWAYS will be! So, point your browbeating self-righteousness elsewhere, because you're not cyber bullying me off the board. My question still stands, why does it matter? These are fictional characters that can be whatever you want them to be, to me that just shows lack of imagination on your part. The only limitation is your imagination. ... and Pete , you can climb down off of your social warrior soapbox. Everything you sited in your last post has been done by the community you're defending. The petition to ban books they don't like, and do you REALLY want to talk about FLAG desecration?!? Really?... but I get it, it's ok for your side. The hypocrisy is mind boggling. As far drag shows go, anything sexual done in front of 'children', hetero, homo or anything else, should be a felony. I said it before and I will say it again, I play this game to escape reality, not incorporate into it. Now, you know me a little better, so carry on with your judgmental attitudes. Hypocrisy makes the world go round, anymore.

I had not heard about the incident and statement from Oklahoma. It seems to me they are saying a MTF trans can not wrestle a female. However they would be ok with a cis male wrestling a female. That makes sense.
Things like that make me think of that song "Try That in a Small Town" that is about the toughness of good old boys from small towns. Those good old boys sure are tough and if you do not believe it just add up the broken bones and bruises on their wives, girlfriends and kids.

How did you feel when the Adam Traitor card was published with a swastika, Butchy? Dude..... I don't address you outside of your name, I am asking you to please... show me that same consideration!! Now, I will answer your question even though you asked so snidely. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, are you kidding me?!? It was VERY offensive and should have not been released. The tattoo was obviously visual for everyone to see to instigate hate and 'heel heat'. It was in poor taste. So, again I'm going to ask a question so feel free to read hate into it. How does Adam Traitor corrilate to the 'discussion'? Apple and oranges IMO.

If "my side" is tearing down or defacing American flags on other people's property, that's absolutely just as wrong.
If someone wants to buy their own pride flag and burn it or defecate it on it or whatever, that's their right (and their money goes into the pockets of a pride ally so it's win-win).
As for the term "social warrior," thank you for the compliment. Also drag shows are not inherently "sexual," unless you think the movie Some Like It Hot (not to mention guys like Shakespeare) is pornography.

We agree on the swastika tattoo, at least. It's the "wrong kind of heat" and doesn't really belong in wrestling whether "real" or wholly fictional. It's also just a cheap way of trying to drastically change Adam's character. Like, apparently it's not enough that he's a turncoat and a deadbeat dad. We have to make him EXTRA-evil.

Saying drag shows are sexual is like saying movies and TV shows are. Yes, some might be, but most are not. I always wonder, especially down here in FL where the Governor and others put age limits in line with NC17 movies on the shows due to sexuality, if they have ever been to one or they just saw one, live or in a video, that was of the more adult variety and just judged them all to be the same. It is cool you mentioned Shakespeare because I have wondered if someone put on a Shakespeare play here the way they did back then if it would be labeled drag and not available to people under 18.

A bit surprised one of the moderators hasn't stepped in yet to try to smooth things over here.🤔

You said, 'at least' we agree on that, what else do we disagree on about when it comes to the game?...? I like you Pete, always have! I never said not include someone in the game, I said what does it matter? Adam's tattoo was visual, are trying to say a gay or lesbian character would be known by visual (drawing) too? Of course not, because people are people and don't wear signs. I not afraid of non hetero character in the GWF, I already explained about my daughter, I just don't care. I didn't care about Patriot & Ms. Liberty or the Bloodline family drama either, does that classify as hate? The characters can be whoever or whatever you want them to be, but you need it written in the book, correct? Why? Make Actagon gay and write about it in your fed on the board, it's that easy.

I'm sorry but you can't tell me this wasn't a hateful personal attack on the creator of the thread 3) "So much pretend "tolerance" by promoters on here." "Of course pal. You have always demonstrated you are the paragon of tolerance and virtue---as long as people agree with you. Please let me know what threads I am allowed to visit and comment on? Do I need your permission to comment? Enjoy your fake virtue, mate!" "Your comments have not been positive or contributed to the game." "Be honest, this is only being raised so one person can get attention and the rest can feel better about themselves." "I am not the one trying to smother discussion. I can name the ones that are." "Honestly, what impact does this "month" have to do with this game? If you want to put your politics into your game, go for it. No need to compel or guilt others into doing so." "While you are at it, how about you represent the military, veterans, or law enforcement. Or don't they matter." "I am sorry you cannot fathom discussion in your imaginary belief you are tolerant." all examples of the gaslighting in the thread. blaming us for being intolerant and stifling discussion when we are just trying to keep the hate and negativity out of the thread. so you can agree or disagree I don't care. I see it and others see it. bear805, again with this, it seems like just an interpretation. I stand by this, Bear805, StevieDreamer has made posts in the pasts to inflame and get a reaction out of people. This thread, absolutely started with a laughing emoji so asking questions, seemed, maybe warranted. And, I am never going to regret asking questions of someone that allows me to learn more about them and where they are coming from. This is one of those cases absolutely. I will keep beating that drum because it’s the truth and it is my truth. On that note, I think I am going to remove myself from this thread, because, frankly, again there is true hate of the LBGQT+ community that needs to be addressed, and not interpretation.steviedreamer, I have gained a better understanding of where you are coming from, and am thankful for that.
