EpicDave: Hey, fans! Welcome to Heartland Championship Wrestling! On the heels of a very successful 2024 Tournament of Champions, we are back in action as we kick off Season 19 of the best in professional wrestling action. The fine folks of Patriot Championship Wrestling have rolled out the red carpet here in Philadelphia for a stellar return to competition. When we last saw the Patriot crew one month ago, BOTH the major titles changed hands! And tonight, we will see rematches for both these titles, as BRUISER BRODY & JIMMY SNUKA defend the tag titles against JAY & MARK BRISCOE- and in the Main Event, JOHNNY VALENTINE will face the challenge of former champion 'SUPERSTAR' BILLY GRAHAM for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship. And of course, the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network will be on hand to livestream tonight's feature match-ups. The Phillies have gone home- but the wrestling action is going to fire up Philadelphia tonight, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!

SGT. SLAUGHTER* defeated BOB BACKLUND** by submission with the Cobra Clutch

EpicDave: A big win for Slaughter against an old rival. Slaughter has earned a Number One Contender's Match for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship! But if Sarge wants that title shot, he's gonna have to go through VADER to get it. Good luck with that! And now, fans- we take you to a grudge match that stems from an incident that took place ten days ago during the Filsinger Cup Tournament.

Footage is displayed from a match in Baltimore between BARRY WINDHAM and BUDDY ROGERS. Rogers was in control, and JIMMY HART was noticeably frustrated at ringside. Hart clocked the referee with his megaphone, then beckoned TERRY FUNK back to ringside, and Funk tried to climb into the ring. But out of nowhere, RODDY PIPER returned to ringside and pulled Funk out of the ring! Funk and Piper threw hands on the arena floor as the referee came around. Rogers regained control, and dumped Windham with a Piledriver as the referee delivered the three count.

EpicDave: In the aftermath of that sequence of events, Funk has challenged Piper to a grudge match. And of course, Piper was more than happy to accept the challenge- and in fact, Piper has upped the ante and requested that this be a Singapore Cane Match!


GRUDGE MATCH- SINGAPORE CANE RULES- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
TERRY FUNK***** defeated 'ROWDY' RODDY PIPER******* by submission with a Spinning Toe Hold

The Cane Match unsurprisingly turned into a massive bloodbath. Piper and Funk beat each other with the canes until they were both a bloody mess. Action spilled out of the ring, where the violence escalated. The blood loss weakened Piper, and Funk took advantage, putting Piper through a ringside table. Piper was spent, and Funk dragged Piper back into the ring and locked in the Spinning Toehold on a defenseless Piper. After Piper failed to respond to the referee, the match was called and Funk was the victory.

EpicDave: A very intense battle, just as we expected. Terry Funk is one of the most dangerous men on earth and he will stop at nothing to get a victory. And of course, Piper is a man who stands on his principles, even if it requires blood to be spilt. Fans, once we get the ring cleaned up- we will have two championship bouts ahead!



PATRIOT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
BRUISER BRODY*** & JIMMY SNUKA** (c) battled JAY & MARK BRISCOE to a double countout

The Briscoes controlled the pace of the match, hitting frequent double-team moves and holding their own in brawling. A double football tackle from the Briscoes sent Brody careening out of the ring. Brody and Mark took to throwing hands, and battled all over ringside without regard to the referee's count. Despite the referee's best efforts, all four men disregarded the ten count, and the match was thrown out.

EpicDave: Possibly the least surprising double countout in Heartland history. That will be a no contest, and if we ever get these guys back from their fisticuffs, we'll have a future rematch. Heck, they might just go on fighting until their next scheduled contest.


MAIN EVENT: PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
'SUPERSTAR' BILLY GRAHAM*** (w/THE GRAND WIZARD OF WRESTLING) defeated JOHNNY VALENTINE*** (c) )w/JAMES J. DILLON) by submission with the Superstar Bearhug

The rivalry between Valentine and Graham reached another level in tonight's Main Event, fueled by the tactics of JAMES J. DILLON and THE GRAND WIZARD. Under Dillon's guidance, Valentine got off to a solid start, and had the challenger in trouble after a pair of Atomic Skullcrushers. But Wizard got involved, grabbing Valentine around the ankles from ringside, causing the champion to lose his balance. Graham took advantage, catching Valentine in a brutal Full Nelson which weakened Valentine. Graham locked in the Superstar Bearhug! Despite the protests and the distractions attempted by Dillon, Graham kept his focus, maintained the bearhug, and forced Valentine to submit for the victory.

'SUPERSTAR' BILLY GRAHAM REGAINS THE PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: How about that? Ladies and gentlemen- 'SUPERSTAR' BILLY GRAHAM has won the Patriot Heavyweight Championship- for a record FIFTH time! Congratulations to the Superstar. He needed a little help from his friends tonight- but he got the job done. That will set up a Two Out Of Three Falls showdown against Valentine to determine once and for all the rightful champion. Superstar has had some legendary battles with the likes of RICK RUDE and ED 'STRANGLER' LEWIS- and now he will be center stage once again when he and Valentine face off for the final time. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! Heartland will be back on Wednesday night with more exciting action, featuring the superstars of Heartland Ladies' Wrestling. The show opens with the tune, "Poison" by Alice Cooper playing overhead. VELVET SKY makes her way through the balcony, high-fiving the fans, then works her way down to the main stage and into the ring.

Velvet: Heartland- WHAT IS UP?!?!? I am GEEKED to be here! Turner Hall is one kickass place for wrestling- and tonight, the brawling babes of Heartland Ladies' Wrestling are here to blow this place sky high! We've got a hot show planned for tonight, and the Main Event is going to be out of this world when JACQUELINE defends the Mistress of Mayhem Championship against MASHA SLAMOVICH. Are you ready for the mayhem? Let's take care of business!


NICOLE MATTHEWS pinned VERT VIXEN** with the Vancouver Maneuver


KENZIE PAIGE* & ELLA ENVY* defeated BILLIE STARKZ* & JANAI KAI** by countout when Kenzie threw Janai into the crowd

Two young and hungry teams went to battle in a match that turned ugly. After a lot of back-and-forth action, the trash-talking and taunting elevated, turning into a fight on the arena floor. Kenzie tossed Janai into the crowd, and escaped back to the ring. Janai tried to return to the ring, but Ella grabbed Janai by the ankles and prevented her from getting back into the ring before the referee completed the ten count.

Velvet: What a screwjob. Janai looks FURIOUS- and I can't blame her.


NICOLE SAVOY defeated TAYLOR WILDE**** by submission using the Savo Lock

The match opened in controversial fashion, with Nicole attacking Taylor prior to the bell. Nicole kicked Taylor from behind, cracking her on the side of the head! Taylor went down, and remained out of focus for the rest of the match as Nicole went on to a quick submission victory.

Velvet: Nicole- WHY? That might have been a good match- without the backstabbing. I think Taylor might have suffered a concussion from that cheap shot.


LAYNIE LUCK** & HYAN*** defeated KELLIE SKATER* & EVIE when Hyan submitted Kellie with the Beauty Sleep


DEBBIE MALENKO* defeated PORTIA PEREZ**** by submission with the STF


TRISH ADORA pinned JESSICKA HAVOK** with the Lariat Tubman


Velvet: Great work, ladies. That will set up DEBBIE MALENKO vs. TRISH ADORA for a #1 Contender's Match for the Heartland Ladies Championship. That will be an interesting battle. Now- before we get to the Main Event- we have a special announcement about the Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship. Last month in Columbus, the tag team champions TASHA STEELZ & BIG SWOLE got disqualified from their Filsinger Cup Tournament match after Big Swole slapped the referee! Well, after reviewing that incident, the Heartland Executive Committee has decided to SUSPEND Big Swole for 60 days! But- instead of stripping the titles, the Committee will allow Tasha to choose a new tag partner for their next title defense. We don't know who that is going to be- but we'll find out on October 26. And now- let's see who will win the Mistress of Mayhem match!


MAIN EVENT: MISTRESS OF MAYHEM CHAMPIONSHIP
MASHA SLAMOVICH* pinned JACQUELINE*** (c) with the White Knight Driver

It was power vs. power in the Main Event, and Masha was not backing down from the champion. Masha absorbed everything that Jacqueline could throw at her, before taking control and putting Jacqueline down with a White Knight Driver. Jacqueline kicked out, but Masha was relentless and continued to pummel Jacqueline. It took three White Knight Drivers before it was done, but Masha finally prevailed.

MASHA SLAMOVICH WINS THE MISTRESS OF MAYHEM CHAMPIONSHIP

Velvet: That was unbelievable! Jacqueline is one of the baddest women in wrestling- and Masha just took her apart. Congratulations to Masha for winning the Mistress of Mayhem Championship! She earned it tonight, and silenced the crowd. That was almost scary. That's it for tonight, Heartland- thanks for another awesome night of wrestling here in Milwaukee! It's always a top-notch time in Turner Hall- and tonight the girls tore it up! Heartland will be back on Saturday night from Memphis with an awesome show from Pro Wrestling Mid-America. It will be DON MURACO challenging JERRY LYNN for the Lone Star Heavyweight Championship, and in the Main Event, TERRY FUNK will defend the PWMA Heavyweight Championship against the one and only 'MACHO MAN' RANDY SAVAGE. And in Memphis, on a Saturday night, you KNOW that the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network will be here to livestream tonight's feature matches. DON FRYE** defeated SHAWN MICHAELS***** by submission with the Rear Naked Choke

Don Frye got a satisfying victory in his return to action against his rival Michaels. Even the distraction from HAKU could not change the outcome for Michaels as Frye overwhelmed Michaels and forced the tapout.


STEVE 'DR. DEATH' WILLIAMS & GARY ALBRIGHT defeated THE LOVE BROTHERS (REGINALD* & HARTFORD*) when Williams pinned Hartford after an elbow drop

EpicDave: Welcome to the new team of Albright and Williams! They looked pretty darned impressive in their debut match.


DAN SEVERN defeated BIG SCOTT HALL******** by submission with the Armbar

EpicDave: Severn couldn't wait to get his hands on Scott Hall again. A lot of bad blood there!


BRET HART defeated HAKU* by submission with the Sharpshooter

As Hart prepared to face Haku, Hart was attacked in the ring by SHAWN MICHAELS. But Hart was ready for the ambush, grabbing Michaels by the arm and whipping Michaels into Haku! Michaels and Haku collided violently, leaving both men stunned. Hart wasted no time in locking up Haku in the Sharpshooter to force a quick submission!

EpicDave: What a disastrous night for SHAWN MICHAELS! Not only did Michaels get beat- but both of his compadres, Scott Hall and Haku, also went down to defeat. And now, fans- we take you to the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network for tonight's feature matches!

THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS (ROAD DOGG*** & BILLY GUNN***) defeated STAN HANSEN*** & OLE ANDERSON******* (w/JIMMY HART) when Road Dogg pinned Hansen with a Cross-Body Block

EpicDave: What a competitive match that was! Those two teams went at it for almost twenty solid minutes. But fans- next up- we have a No Disqualification Grudge Match that stems back to an incident that took place a few weeks ago back in Houston when BUZZ SAWYER turned up out of nowhere to interference in a match involving TOMMY RICH, leading to Rich taking a costly defeat. Now, Rich and Sawyer are about to throw down in a match that could rekindle one of the hottest feuds of the 1980's.


GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
'MAD DOG' BUZZ SAWYER* pinned TOMMY 'WILDFIRE' RICH with a Roll-Up

Rich came out looking for blood, and the two men threw hands in the center of the ring as the crowd went wild. Rich got the upper hand, and attempted to choke out Sawyer with the Wildfire Sleeper. Sawyer collapsed to the mat, and Rich went to the top turnbuckle. But as Rich launched himself, Sawyer rolled through the body press, and with a handful of tights, pinned Tommy for a three count.

After the decision, Sawyer rolled out of the ring and tried to scoot away, but Rich pursued him and the fists continued to fly. Sawyer caught Rich with a vicious low blow! Rich collapsed to the floor, and Sawyer took the opportunity to scamper away to safety.

EpicDave: What a cowardly move by Buzz Sawyer. He steals a victory with a pull of the tights, then runs away from the fight with a cheap shot. We haven't seen the last of those two battling it out.


LONE STAR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
DON MURACO* pinned JERRY LYNN**** (c) with the Hawaiian Hammer

Lynn dominated the opening sequences of this match with his speed and athleticism, but did little real damage to the bigger challenger. When Muraco finally got his hands on Lynn, he overpowered the champion and put Lynn down with the Hawaiian Hammer for a decisive pin.

DON MURACO CAPTURES THE LONE STAR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Congratulations to DON MURACO- the new Lone Star Heavyweight Champion! Muraco was definitely the better man tonight- despite the best efforts of the former champion. And now, fans- it's time for the Main Event of the evening!


MAIN EVENT: PWMA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
RANDY 'MACHO MAN' SAVAGE**** pinned TERRY FUNK***** (c) with a Flying Elbow Smash

Funk and Savage locked horns in a battle for the ages. JIMMY HART was agitating at ringside, but Savage paid Hart no mind in his quest for the gold. The battle raged in the ring and out, and Savage delivered a spectacular double axe-handle blow from the top turnbuckle to the arena floor. Funk was dazed by the blow but continued to battle. Funk slammed the head of Savage onto the announcer's table, leaving both men woozy. Action returned to the ring, where Funk tried for a Piledriver, but Savage powered out of the attempt and walloped Funk with a neckbreaker clothesline. That was the opening that Savage needed to climb to the top turnbuckle and deliver a soaring Elbow Drop to score the pin.

'MACHO MAN' RANDY SAVAGE WINS THE PWMA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Ooohhh yeeeaaahhh! Ladies and gentlemen, history has been made here in Memphis! THE 'MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE has captured the PWMA Heavyweight Championship! Savage is now a two-time champion- since he won this title a couple of years ago. And now, he is back on the top of the mountain! The fans are going crazy here for the new champ! All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! Heartland will be back on Wednesday night with more exciting action, featuring the stars of the Atlantic Wrestling Federation. Tensions between Flair and Bobo have been mounting over several months, leading to this in-ring showdown. Bobo came out the aggressor, pummeling Flair and stunning Flair with a barrage of Coco Butts. Heenan got desperate, stole the timekeeper's hammer, and slid it into the ring. Flair clocked Bobo and quickly went for the Figure-Four, but Bobo kicked Flair away and staggered to his feet. Bobo went back on the attack, prompting Heenan to summon BIG JOHN STUDD to the scene. But Studd was cut off by TOM JENKINS, leading to a nasty brawl on the arena floor. In the chaos, Flair was able to take out the knee of Bobo from behind, toppling the big man and setting the stage for Flair to lock in the Figure-Four and force the submission.


EpicDave: Score another one for the Heenan Family. Teamwork makes the dream work, so they say. Flair gets the win tonight, and perhaps a measure of satisfaction, but he is still a frustrated man without a path to a title in his future. And TOM JENKINS showed his courage tonight in coming out to confront BIG JOHN STUDD- so I don't think this war is over. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! The show opens with the tune, "Poison" by Alice Cooper playing overhead. VELVET SKY stands in the center of the ring, waving to the fans around the arena. Velvet wears a University of Illinois sweatshirt and black jeans.

Velvet: Heartland- WHAT IS UP!??!? I am JUICED to be here! It's been a rough year for Chicago fans- the Cubs were lousy, the White Sox were pathetic, and the Bears- well…. 'nuff said. But the Fighting Illini are in the top 25- AND- they beat Michigan! Who doesn't hate Michigan? And who doesn't love the bruising beauties of Heartland Ladies' Wrestling? It's gonna be a rock-'em, sock-'em night here in the Second City tonight. KELLY KLEIN is defending the Heartland Ladies' Championship against the hottest wrestler on earth right now, JORDYNNE GRACE. Plus, the Tag Team Titles are on the line and MICKIE JAMES is making her Heartland debut. What a night this is going to be- so let's take care of business!


MADI WRENKOWSKI* pinned THUNDER ROSA***** with a Spinning Back Suplex

Always, the underdog, Madi brought her best to the ring against Thunder Rosa. When Rosa was in trouble, HOLIDEAD came to the ring in an effort to help. But SARA DEL REY came to the ring to confront Holidead, opening the door for Madi to drop Rosa with a spinning back suplex for the pin.

After the decision, Thunder Rosa angrily grabbed the microphone and insisted on a match with Sara, which Sara readily accepted.

Velvet: Good on Madi for getting the win! And props to Sara for being willing to confront Rosa and Holidead- there has already been some bad blood between Sara and Thunder Rosa. Sara is still on a bad leg- so I don't know how wise it is for her to be getting back into the ring with Thunder Rosa. But the match has been made, and we'll see them head to head later tonight!


AVA EVERETT** & DAVIENNE*** defeated MSCHIF***** & HEIDI HOWITZER*** when Davienne finished MsChif with Davi End La Life

After the defeat, the frustrations of MsChif boiled over and she attacked Heidi! The partners brawled, with SANDRA MOONE coming out to try and mediate, but multiple officials from backstage were required to break apart the melee.

Velvet: Oh, no! The breakup of MsChif and Heidi has been a long time coming. I don't think they will recover from this fight.


CHRISTINA VON EERIE**** defeated SUMIE SAKAI**** by Disqualification after outside interference

Christina and Sukie locked horns in a very competitive battle. Late in the contest, MSCHIF returned to ringside and tried to talk with Christina. Christina clearly was interested in hearing from MsChif, which made MsChif even more frustrated. MsChif hauled off and slugged Christina! Christina collpased to the arena floor and was unable to continue the match. Unfortunately, Sumie was disqualified due to the outside interference.


#1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
THE HEX (ALLYSIN KAY* & MARTI BELLE*** w/KARLEE PEREZ) defeated THE VACHONS (LUNA & VIVIAN*) when Marti pinned Vivian after a blow with the Mystic Stone

Things with THE HEX became even more bizarre, as BOTH SAGE HALE and BRIAR HALE were present at ringside. Both twins appeared to be fixated on the mystic stone. It was Briar who distracted the referee, allowing Sage to smash Vivian with the stone to set up the win.

Velvet: Goodness sakes. The longer time goes by, the more creepy THE HEX becomes. Karlee and her stone seem to have some sort of mind control power. And now, The Hex has earned a shot at the tag team titles.


MICKIE JAMES pinned KANA**** with the MICKIE-DT

Velvet: Welcome to MICKIE JAMES! It's great to have Mickie here in the Heartland- and she looked terrific in her first match.


GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
THUNDER ROSA pinned SARA DEL REY** with La Rosa

Sara came to the ring angry, but Thunder Rosa didn't care. Thunder Rosa wasted no time in clocking Sara with a pair of brass knuckles and dropping her for the pin. MADI WRENKOWSKI quickly returned to ringside and pulled Sara to safety before Rosa could do any further damage.



HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
CORA & DEBBIE COMBS defeated TASHA STEELZ* & SAVANNAH EVANS (c) by Disqualification due to excessive double-teaming

Savannah Evans was called upon to serve as Tasha's tag team partner, following the suspension to BIG SWOLE. Tasha and Savannah paid no regard to the referee or any of the previously agreed-upon rules. The champs were unabashed in their double-teaming. The referee tried to give leeway, but things completely fell apart when Cora scored a near-fall on Tasha. Savannah hit the ring with a desperate assault, completely disregarding the instructions of the referee and ultimately costing her team the DQ.

Velvet: No surprises there. I just wonder if Tasha and Savannah didn't have that planned all along. That will set up a No Disqualification rematch- which is probably just what the champs wanted. But now- it's time for the Main Event- and it's gonna be a slugfest! It's the Ladies' Filsinger Cup Champion against the Heartland Ladies' Champion- and two of the toughest gals on the planet ready to go at it.


MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP
JORDYNNE GRACE* pinned KELLY KLEIN***** (c) with the Grace Driver

The battle of the amazons was as competitive as expected- but it was the athleticism of Jordynne that proved to be the difference. Jordynne launched herself onto Kelly with a suicide dive, but miscalculated and only caught a glancing blow. But Jordynne kept on the pressure, catching Kelly with a Gannosuke clutch which nearly led to a pin. After a narrow escape, Kelly was off-guard, and Jordynne dropped Kelly with the Grace Driver and scored the pin.

JORDYNNE GRACE WINS THE HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP

Velvet: Wow! Fans- JORDYNNE GRACE has won the Heartland Ladies' Championship! Jordynne CRUSHED it tonight! She was in control from the start- and she beat the woman who has held the title for almost all of 2024. What a big win! That's it for tonight, Heartland- thanks for another awesome night of wrestling here in Chicago! We'll be back on Wednesday night with a hot show from Patriot Championship Wrestling in Buffalo. EpicDave: Hey, fans! Welcome to Heartland Championship Wrestling! It is great to be here in the lovely city of Buffalo for some mid-week action, brought to you by Patriot Championship Wrestling. This friendly venue is going to get nasty in tonight's Main Event, where we will see a No Disqualification Match for the Patriot Tag Team Championship. BRUISER BRODY & JIMMY SNUKA hold the titles- but they have been at war with the former champions, JAY & MARK BRISCOE- and it's all gonna explode here tonight. It's gonna be a wild one, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!


Before the show opens, footage is displayed from Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant & Banquet Facility in Buffalo. THE GRAND WIZARD OF WRESTLING is dining with family and friends. A commotion is heard in the restaurant, as ARN ANDERSON & TULLY BLANCHARD enter the scene, turning over tables. Anderson grabs the Wizard and pulls him out of this chair, and Blanchard grabs a wine bottle and prepares to break it over Wizard's head. Out of nowhere, an iron skillet flies through the air, striking Blanchard and knocking him to the floor. Anderson's eyes light up, and he ducks to avoid another swing of the skillet. Anderson drops Wizard to the floor and scurries away to safety. The camera pans out to reveal KURT ANGLE holding the skillet, with Wizard looking up at Angle in a state of confusion.

EpicDave: That's a nice win for Destroyer against a big, scary, ugly opponent.

EpicDave is interrupted by the ringing of his cell phone. He looks perplexed as he takes the call.

EpicDave: Mr. Piper? Roddy? What is your question? No… no, Roddy- the Ugandan Giant is NOT running for President. No… no, I am quite sure he is not related to the sitting Vice President… Roddy- calm down. I'm in the middle of a show. I gotta get back.

EpicDave: Vader was just OVERPOWERING in that match against the big Sarge. That puts Vader in line for a title match for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship! And now, we head to tonight's Main Event.


MAIN EVENT: PATRIOT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP- NO DISQUALIFICATION
BRUISER BRODY* & JIMMY SNUKA***** (c) defeated JAY***** & MARK* BRISCOE when Brody pinned Jay with a Jumping Knee Drop

It was another spirited brawl between the Briscoes and the new champs, as both teams appeared to take joy in pummeling each other. Action went down in the ring and on the floor, and all four men took damage. The Briscoes took over on Snuka, and nearly finished him off before Brody came to the rescue. Brody pounded on both Briscoes, finally getting hold of Jay and finishing him off with the Jumping Knee Drop.

BRUISER BRODY & JIMMY SNUKA RETAIN THE PATRIOT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Congratulations to the champions for a successful title defense! Brody and Snuka had a tough battle tonight- but collectively they are as tough as they come and they proved it here tonight.
