WARRIOR VILLAGE WARFARE The supercard originally known as War Dome Warfare began in 2099. The event was developed by Thakur the Oppressor and was held at the Aethra War Dome until 2103. The card was then cancelled by the GWF in 2014 and 2105 due to political disputes with Aethra. In 2106 the GWF reinstituted the card and moved it to Aethra’s huge Warrior Village Coliseum. In 2110 the name of the card was officially changed to Warrior Village Warfare. The 2114 event was held on October 4 before a sellout crowd of over 144,000 fans. The triple main event for the 2114 Warrior Village Warfare involved two title matches, with Twin Blood defending the GWF Tag Team Titles against Rebel Empire and Mensar putting up his Galaxian Heavyweight Championship against Mandrill. In addition, the Gladiators of Aethra challenged the Hunters to an Ultimate Escape match, which is a Warrior Village Warfare tradition. Complete results of the card were as follows: Wraith defeated TanckThe opening match was a tough contest in which Wraith put away Tanck with a "Phantom Jackhammer." Pegasus defeated SlayerThis match was a surprisingly tough challenge for Pegasus, as Slayer fought him for over eight minutes before falling to a full nelson power bomb. Between matches, Archon commented on his match with Blazing Skull that was scheduled for later on the card. "Skull's beaten me the last two times, I know," Archon said. "But I have a surprise for him tonight. I have a very special match in mind, and this time the beating is going to go the other way." Flamsteed Street Fight: Tarloc defeated HeathenTarloc came into this match looking for revenge against the Aethrans for kicking him off their War Games team earlier in the year, and he got it by blasting his replacement, Heathen, with a "Tarloc Trample." Atman defeated Mike FortuneIn very competitive nine-minute contest, Atman pulled out the win with a leaping DDT. Desolation Factor defeated the SWAT Team by countoutThese two teams battled evenly for five minutes before Warfare was knocked out on the floor and counted out. Cygnus Adamantium Fists Match: Aegis defeated MaelstromAegis controlled much of the action in this match but still took nearly ten minutes to stop Maelstrom. An angry Krakan commented after the match. "Tanck loses. Fortune loses. Maelstrom loses. This is not the way a Krakan team performs. But Eclipse will still take out Nexus tonight, and that beatdown will make all of this frustration worthwhile." Titan Hardcore Match for the Special Matches Title: Assassin X (champion) vs. VyperThis match was over surprisingly quickly as Assassin X put down his challenger with a "Contract Killing" in less than five minutes to retain his belt. Castor Chain Match: Genocide defeated CyclopesGenocide appears to be the only wrestler in the federation who enjoys fighting the monster from Brymstone, and he once again came away with a win in this match by delivering the "Spinal Tap" in just three minutes. War Games Tag Team Titles: The Ravagers (champions) vs. Titan HonorThe Titans pulled off the upset in this match as Ursa Major pinned Ventross with a "Shotgun Cradle" in just four minutes to claim the titles. Falls Count Anywhere Match: Max Shield defeated HyperHyper fought in his usual frenzied manner but Shield controlled most of the contest and won it with an "Omicron Force" in nine minutes. Jack of Diamonds defeated EncubusThis tough back-and-forth battle ended after ten minutes when Jack landed a "Jacked Up" for the win. Interplanetary Title Match: Euritar (champion) vs. BloodlineBloodline could never get his offense going in this match, and after seven minutes Euritar put him away with a "Scorpius Suicide Kick" to hold on to the title. Mensa Table Match: Terminus defeated Atys TetrakTerminus put Tetrak through all three tables early in the match, but Tetrak fought back and extended the fight for eleven tough minutes before going down to the "Hammerlock Slam." Cosmic Cage Match: Scion Nexus defeated EclipseKrakan demanded this match to allow Eclipse to gain revenge on Nexus for injuring him at the beginning of the War Games, but Nexus was in charge from the opening bell and took only four minutes to land the "Apex" for the win. The next match was scheduled to be another battle between Archon and Blazing Skull, but the type of match was not announced in advance. Archon came to the ring first, carrying two long wooden sticks, each with a chain and a wristcuff attached. Then he took a microphone. "Skull, on the last two supercards we've had a King of the Ring Match and a Torture Chamber Match," he said. "Let's try something new. These weapons are called Gutarr Sticks. I have one for each of us. How about if you come down here and I beat you senseless with one of them?" Blazing Skull immediately matched to the ring. "You forgot to mention that I destroyed you in those last two matches," he smiled evilly. "But if you want to find new ways for me to do damage to you, who am I to argue? Let's do it." Gutarr Stick Match: Archon defeated Blazing SkullIn the GWF's first ever Gutarr Stick Match, Archon needed only five minutes to break his stick over Skull's head and then pin him with a deathjump. GWF Tag Team Title Match: Twin Blood (champions) vs. Rebel EmpireThis contest was an outstanding battle, with Rebel Empire giving the brothers from Maxus all they could handle for fifteen minutes before Dreggs finally caught Nefarus with a "Dreggs of Defeat" to retain the belts. Aethran Ultimate Escape Match: The Hunters defeated the GladiatorsThis contest lasted for nearly fifty minutes, and it was nothing short of remarkable. With Wolf out of action with an injury, the Hunters' team consisted of Kill Prey, Lycanthrope, Black Hawk, Predator, and Wrath. The Gladiators were Thunder, Malice, Overkill, Disaster, and Venom, with both Malice and Disaster competing despite minor injuries. After several competitors tagged in and out, Venom was the first to leave the cage by escaping over Kill Prey. Disaster exited next after inflicting a terrible beating on Predator. Kill Prey then made it out of the ring past Thunder, but Thunder quickly followed against Lycanthrope. Malice then fought against all four remaining opponents for over ten minutes, taking a tremendous beating before Lycanthrope finally got past him and out of the cage. Black Hawk then escaped over Overkill, setting up the last four competitors as the two tag teams that had been hated rivals all year: Predator and Wrath against Malice and Overkill. By this time both Predator and Malice were badly injured, and both Wrath and Overkill had also taken damage. However, Wrath, known for over a decade as the best cage performer in wrestling, managed to take down Malice and then tag in Predator, allowing his half-brother to escape first before following him out of the cage. The Hunters thus won the contest, leaving a beaten Malice and Overkill in the cage behind them. Galaxian Heavyweight Title: Mensar (champion) vs. MandrillThese two powerhouses fought back and forth for eight minutes in a tough battle, but in the end Mandrill pinned the big Mensan with a "Colonizer Claw Slam" to win the Galaxian Title for the tenth time in his career. Mandrill was jubilant after the match. "I have back the title I never should have lost," he crowed. "I am leading the Brymstone team to a War Games victory. This may be my greatest year ever, and I am proving that I can still dominate this federation." Brute expressed his anger at the result of the Ultimate Escape Match. "We lost again," he said. "This has happened too often in front of our own people. We'll need to find a way to get some satisfaction against Bounty Hunter's weaklings. I'm not sure of when or how, but we will make them regret tonight." ROCKETMEN RALLY IN WAR GAMES, BUT BRYMSTONE BURNING STILL LEADS The Rocketmen, the two-time defending War Games Champions, have staged a furious comeback in the 2114 Games, thanks in large part to the success of the tag team champions, Twin Blood. However, the rally may come too late, as Brymstone Burning still has a large lead and is now only twenty points short of the 150 point goal to win. The Gladiators have now fallen to fourth place after their loss at Warrior Village Warfare. Complete current standings are as follows: WAR GAMES STANDINGS 1. Brymstone Burning (Blazing Skull, Anarchy, Mandrill, Slayer, Creatures of Lamia): 130 points 2. The Rocketmen (Max Shield, Vyper, Wraith, Twin Blood): 110 points 3. Takeover (Mensar, Euritar, Murdok, Hyper, Desolation Factor): 108 points 4. The Gladiators of Aethra (Thunder, Disaster, Venom, Overkill, Malice, Heathen): 104 points 5. The Federation Defense Fighters (Archon, Aegis, Atys Tetrak, Tarloc, Stars & Stripes): 93 points 6T. The Hunters (Wolf, Kill Prey, Lycanthrope, Predator, Wrath, Black Hawk): 91 points 6T. Team Thantos (Terminus, Bloodline, Encubus, Rebel Empire): 91 points 8. The Avenging Warriors (Pegasus, Enigma, Genocide, Jack of Diamonds, SWAT Team): 90 points 9. Krakan's Deadly Militia (Eclipse, Fortune, Tanck, Maelstrom, the Ravagers): 87 points 10. The Fighting Titans: (Scion Nexus, Atman, Assassin X, Titan Honor, Moonstorm): 84 points (Note: Venom, Tarloc, Lycanthrope, Black Hawk, Predator, and Wrath are my own bootlegs. Assassin X is from the GWFZ Promoter Madness set. Moonstorm is actually the Lord Nexus card from the 30th Anniversary pack. 'Warrior Village Warfare' ... gotta love the apt use of alliteration there. Lol
Aa always, dig the results.
The Glads lose an Ultimate Escape Match which likely only adds insult to injury with the loss and wow oh wow, Mandrill knocks off the Mensan monolith that is Mensar to win the big gold. The Prime Colinizer looks like he has gotten himself in prime position to to reign at the top of the fed moving forward.

BRYMSTONE BURNING WINS WAR GAMES CHAMPIONSHIP Brymstone Burning put the finishing touches on their victory on the 2114 GWF War Games at the Capella Star Gardens on October 28. Mandrill scored the final and winning points for his team with a successful defense of his Galaxian Heavyweight Championship in a rematch with the wrestler he took the title from, Mensar. Blazing Skull and Slayer also both earned points with victories on the card. Mandrill became a War Games champion for the second time, having earned a War Games ring with the Colonizers of Scorpi ten years earlier in 2104. Blazing Skull, Anarchy, Turge, Cyclopes, Slayer, and bodyguard Tortured Soul were all War Games winners for the first time. "We have proven our superiority," Mandrill crowed after his win. "I said that I would lead this team to the championship, and I did. Nobody could stop us. Now we all have War Games rings, I hold the heavyweight title, and we will continue to dominate this federation." The Rocketmen, who had won the Games in 2112 and 2113, made an impressive surge in the final weeks of the Games, finishing in second place, but they had fallen too far behind to catch the Brymstone team. The Fighting Titans, who had been in last place for most of the Games, also made a surge at the end and managed to climb into a tie for seventh place. Like the early War Games cards in 2114, the final few cards were marred by several serious injuries. Anarchy suffered a badly sprained knee against Pegasus and missed the final three weeks. Slayer, Cyclopes, and Tortured Soul took out Wraith in a brutal attack, putting the former Genesis star out for the remainder of the year. Atys Tetrak was also likely sidelined until January after a terrible beating by Bloodline, Encubus, Terminus, and Thantos. Thantos and his men were suspended for the attack, but later on the same card the Federation Defense Fighters got revenge as Encubus was injured and put out of action by Corporal Aegis, Tarloc, and Vascor. Complete final standings for the 2114 War Games were as follows: 1. Brymstone Burning (Blazing Skull, Anarchy, Mandrill, Slayer, Creatures of Lamia): 150 points 2. The Rocketmen (Max Shield, Vyper, Wraith, Twin Blood): 131 points 3. Takeover (Mensar, Euritar, Murdok, Hyper, Desolation Factor): 129 points 4. The Gladiators of Aethra (Thunder, Disaster, Venom, Overkill, Malice, Heathen): 120 points 5. The Federation Defense Fighters (Archon, Aegis, Atys Tetrak, Tarloc, Stars & Stripes): 118 points 6. The Avenging Warriors (Pegasus, Enigma, Genocide, Jack of Diamonds, SWAT Team): 105 points 7T. The Fighting Titans: (Scion Nexus, Atman, Assassin X, Titan Honor, Moonstorm): 104 points 7T. The Hunters (Wolf, Kill Prey, Lycanthrope, Predator, Wrath, Black Hawk): 104 points 7T. Team Thantos (Terminus, Bloodline, Encubus, Rebel Empire): 104 points 10. Krakan's Deadly Militia (Eclipse, Fortune, Tanck, Maelstrom, the Ravagers): 103 points MANDRILL GETS A SURPRISE AT WAR GAMES CELEBRATION On November 2, 2114 at the Antares Firedome, the new War Games Champions Brymstone Burning gathered in the ring at the beginning of the card to celebrate their War Games victory. Mandrill took the center position with a microphone in his hand and his Galaxian Heavyweight Belt draped over his shoulder. Behind him were gathered his Brystone Burning teammates: Blazing Skull, Anarchy, Slayer, Cyclopes, Turge, and Tortured Soul. Turge had missed most of the War Games with an injury and still walked with a crutch as he entered the ring. "I did what I promised to do," Mandrill gloated. "I said I would lead this team to victory, and I did. We are the strongest force in the GWF. Maybe we should rename the team 'The Colonizers of Brymstone' to show our dominance and pay tribute to my leadership. No one could stop us, and no one will stop us in the future as I lead my team to even greater heights." "Yes, it was a glorious victory, o great leader," Blazing Skull replied, smiling and taking the microphone. "Brymstone Burning owes you a great debt. And to pay that debt, we have a surprise for you tonight, an honor you richly deserve." Mandrill waited expectantly, clearly believing that he deserved whatever honor he was about to be given. Standing behind him, Anarchy recached out and took the crutch from Turge and, swinging with all of his might, broke it across Mandrill's back. Turge hopped on one leg to the corner of the ring and watch the acton with a smile and all five other Brymstonians beat and kicked Mandrill until he was bleeding, prone, and barely conscious. Then Blazing Skull took the microphone again. "We put up with your arrogance for the War Games because you were useful to us," Skull snarled, the smile no longer on his face. "But we can't stand you, and with the Games over we have no more use for you. You want to rename this team 'the Colonizers of Brymstone?' Maybe we should call ourselves 'Andromeda Burning,' because that's what's going to happen if you ever get in our way again. You're nothing but an animal, and you and your kind are beneath us. We tolerated you for all of these months, and now we're going to make your life a living hell. And don't get used to carrying that title either, because that belongs to me. You're finished, you stupid ape. Get out of the GWF or face the consequences." The Brymstone team then filed out of the ring, leaving Mandrill lying in his own blood. A planned non-title match with Eclipse for later in the evening was canceled. SEVERAL STARS EXIT GWF AFTER WAR GAMES As often happens at the conclusion of the War Games, a number of GWF stars announced their intention of departing from the federation. The first to go was Jack of Diamonds. "I appreciate the opportunity Star Warrior gave me this year," Jack said. "I needed some time in a new place to get my head together. I'm going to take a couple of months off now, I think. But I have unfinished business in the USWF with Death Knight II, and sooner or later he will see me again." Next came Black Hawk. "It was great to work with Predator, Wrath, and Lycanthrope again, as well as the Wolf, Bounty Hunter, and Kill Prey," he said. "But I have other plans. I wish everyone the best, and you will see me again, but for now I have things to do in other places." The departure of Tarloc, who was kicked off the Gladiator team but became a valuable addition to the FDF, was announced by his manager Vascor. "We enjoyed working with Commander Sam and the others more than we expected to," he said. "But in the end, we're not FDF kind of guys. We don't play by their rules. We're going to go get ourselves ready for a big year in 2115, when Tarloc's Sudden Death suspension ends and we can return to the USWF. We're going to have some surprises for everyone." Spike also announced that Venom would return to Aethra for some time off. "Venom is a great talent," Spike said. "He's going to take a short break. You'll see see him again, and he'll be better than ever." Finally, Tocsin, who was not on a War Games team in 2114, announced his retirement. "I've had enough," he stated. "I'm not wanted here. I thought Lorelei was my manager, but she's never around. I'm sick of it all, and I'm leaving now." (Note: Venom, Tarloc, Lycanthrope, Black Hawk, Predator, and Wrath are my own bootlegs. Assassin X is from the GWFZ Promoter Madness set. Moonstorm is actually the Lord Nexus card from the 30th Anniversary pack. INJURIES, CHALLENGES, AND NEW CHAMPIONS AT ARA CHAMPIONS HALL As the GWF's 2114 year winds down, a wild card took place at the Ara Champions Hall on November 7. By the end of the evening, a major star was sidelined for the year, a challenge was made putting careers on the line, and the federation had new tag team champions. The drama began in a match between Pegasus and Anarchy. Pegasus won the tough ten minute match by disqualification, but after the bell the winner was attacked by Anarchy, Cyclopes, and Tortured Soul. Star Warrior, Pegasus' manager, stood outside the ring and waved for help while the Brymstone group broke two of Pegasus' ribs and dislocated his right arm. Eventually the SWAT Team arrived to break up the assault, but Pegasus is expected to miss the remainder of 2114 and likely the beginning of 2115. "Do I need a reason?" Anarchy snarled when asked about the cause of the attack. "I never did like Pegasus. I've missed a lot of action this year with my own injuries and suspensions, and I seem to have been forgotten in the title picture. It was time to make a statement. Pegasus was just a convenient victim." A little later in the evening, the newest Titan, Moonstorm, faced off against Mike Fortune. Moonstorm seemed to have the match won with an "Avenger Slam" when Eclipse, Tanck, and Krakan stormed the ring and attacked him. The members of Krakan's Militia seemed on the verge of doing serious damage to Moonstorm, but Titan Honor and Scion Nexus arrived in time to drive them away. Then Lord Nexus took the ring microphone. "Krakan," the Titan manager began, "Our war has gone on too long, for too many years, and we've had too many broken bones because of it. It's time to end it, one way or the other. So I'm making a challenge to you. At the Titan Challenge supercard in two weeks, we'll each send out three men for a six man tag match. No disqualifications, one fall for everything. If we lose, I leave the GWF for good. I'll retire. But if we win, you're gone for good. The losing manager is banned for life, and all of our men can get on with their careers one way or the other." Krakan was furious, but a few minutes later in the backstage area he announced that he would accept the proposition. "Krakan does not back down from a challenge," he stormed. "I should never have to put my glorious career on the line. But to get rid of Nexus for good, I'll do anything. He just made the biggest mistake of his life." In the card's main event, Desolation Factor ended the impressive tag team title reign of Twin Blood. Dreggs and Sleeze started well, but their larger opponents fought back and finally put down Sleeze with a "Racked and Ruined." While the brothers from Maxus had held the belts for less than four months, they successfully defended the titles thirteen times throughout the tough competition of the War Games. Desolation Factor won the belts for only the second time in their careers and the first time in more than seven years, but the big men from Dimension X have enjoyed their best performance ever in 2114 with a 32-13 overall record. (Note: Moonstorm is actually the Lord Nexus card from the 30th Anniversary pack.)

TITAN CHALLENGE 2114 A LEGEND EXITS; A SURPRISE FOR MANDRILL The Titan Challenge was originally created by “Trainer Jim” Powell and has been held at the Titan Sportatorium of Saturn each November since 2095. From 2101 to 2106, the Challenge was a co-promotion of the GWF and the United Stars Wrestling Federation and featured wrestlers from both federations. In 2107, because of the legal separation of the two federations due to Magnus Colby’s attempted takeover, the supercard returned to its original format as a showcase for special challenge matches. In 2111, as the GWF’s relationship with Colby improved, the event once again became an inter-federation presentation. The 2114 Titan Challenge took place on November 20. The GWF invited specific wrestlers from the USWF to participate, many of them former GWF stars, and invited all other USWF personnel to attend as guests. The main event was scheduled to be a champion versus champion non-title match between GWF Heavyweight Champion Mandrill and USWF title holder Pathfinder of Ceres. In addition, GWF Tag Team Champions Desolation Factor and USWF Tag Team Champions The Pekhota would square off, as would GWF Interplanetary Champion Euritar and USWF Interstellar Champion Paragon. GWF Special Matches Champion Assassin X would also take on USWF Hardcore Champion Mace. However, the main event was scheduled to be a six-man tag team match between the Fighting Titans and Krakan's Deadly Militia, with the losing manager, Lord Nexus or the Invincible Krakan, being banished from the GWF permanently. Complete results of the card were as follows: Moonstorm (GWF) defeated Wildcat (USWF)The Titan rookie won his first GWF match in front of his home crowd with an "Avenger Slam." The Ravagers (GWF) defeated Blackout (Charon and Scorpio) (USWF)The former USWF tag team champions were beaten when Ventross crushed Scorpio with a "Severed Ties." Nightmare Matrix Match: Holocaust (USWF) defeated Genocide (GWF)The USWF claimed its first victory of the card when Holocaust put his opponent away with a "Shockwave." Talisman (USWF) defeated Corporal Aegis (GWF) Talisman surprised Aegis by winning with a "Renunciation." Lepus Stun Rod Match: Hyper (GWF) defeated Lance At-Las (USWF)The stun rod barely came into play as Hyper swarmed Lance and put him down with "Hyper Drivers." The Penthouse Punks (USWF) defeated Stars & Stripes (GWF)Romulus won the match for his team by pinning U. S. Male with a DDT. Titan Hardcore Match: Wolf (GWF) defeated Dagger Mack (USWF)Two legendary hardcore wrestlers squared off in this wild match that ranged all over the area. Both competitors took considerable damage, but Wolf won it in the end with a "Savage Face Claw." Gutarr Stick Match: Chupacabras (USWF) defeated Kill Prey (GWF)In one of the best matches of the evening, Kill Prey took an early advantage but just could not put his opponent away, and the transrevolved former GWF Cruiserweight Champion finally claimed the win with his "Never Saw It Coming" finisher. The Ninja Assassins (USWF) defeated Twin Blood (GWF)In a match between two classic GWF tag teams, the Ninjas, who held the USWF tag team titles for most of 2114, pulled off the upset when Daemon pinned Dreggs with an "Iron Hand." Dog Collar Chain Match: USWF Hardcore Champion Mace defeated GWF Special Matches Champion Assassin XAlthough Mace has been seen negatively by most fans for many years, on this night he received a huge ovation from the GWF crowd. The match was a good battle that Mace finally won with a "Dead to Rights." Mensa Table Match: Colossus (USWF) defeated Mensar (GWF)The table match is Mensar's own creation, but on this night Colossus took control early and beat the big man brutally. Mensar was a bloody mess after just five minutes, but he fought back and somehow kept the match going for twelve minutes, doing considerable damage of his own, before Colossus finally put him away with a "Double Smash." After taking such a terrible beating, Mensar was helped from the ring and was expected to miss as much as three weeks of action. GWF Interplanetary Champion Euritar defeated USWF Interstellar Champion ParagonThis back-and-forth contest lasted for nearly ten tough minutes before Euritar scored the pin with a roll-up. The Troubleshooters (USWF) defeated Malice and Overkill (GWF)The USWF team pulled off an upset win when Malice went down to a "Trouble Times Two" after just five minutes. Falls Count Anywhere Match: Thunder (GWF) defeated Raven (USWF)Perhaps the loudest ovation of the evening came when former GWF champion Raven entered the ring. However, after ten outstanding minutes of action, Thunder was able to pin the former W.A.R star with a diving choke slam in the ring. Cosmic Cage Match: Wrath (GWF) defeated Blitz (USWF)Long recognized as the greatest cage wrestler in history for having held the USWF Heavy Metal Belt for all but three weeks between 2100 and 2106, Wrath took a considerable beating from the Aethran Powerhouse but managed to fight back and nail Blitz with a "Gladiator Killer" for the win. GWF Tag Team Champions Desolation Factor defeated USWF Tag Team Champions The PekhotaRack and Ruin simply overwhelmed their opponents on this evening as Rack got the win in just four minutes after splashing Kulak with a deathjump. CHAMPION AGAINST CHAMPION: GWF Galaxian Heavyweight Champion Mandrill vs. USWF Heavyweight Champion Pathfinder of CeresThe two long time stars squared off in a tough match for seven minutes of good action before Mandrill drilled his opponent with a Prime Piledriver for the win. After the bell, as Pathfinder walked away and the GWF Champion celebrated his victory, Mandrill suddenly found the ring surrounded by Blazing Skull, Slayer, and Tortured Soul. The champion stood his ground as the Brymstone trio climbed onto the ring apron from different sides. "I told you we weren't done with you yet, ape," Skull snarled. "You've got a belt I want, and I'm going to make you regret being such an arrogant animal to us all year. Anarchy and Cyclopes may be suspended right now, but the three of us are enough to leave you laying in your own blood again." However, as the Brymstonians began to climb into the ring, help arrived for Mandrill: Minotaur and Antak ran from the back and leapt into the ring, Antak carrying a lead pipe. Seeing the odds evened, the Brymstone team slowly withdrew, leaving Mandrill unharmed. Mandrill called for a ring microphone "What do you two want?" he asked his rescuers. "I don't need anyone's help. What do you think you're doing?" Minotaur took a microphone as well. "For one thing, we got sick of hearing Skull insult Animen," he replied. "He wasn't just abusing you. He was talking smack about all of us." Then he paused. "And to be honest, we could use a leader. Maybe you don't need us. Maybe we need you. You know how to win, and we need some guidance." Mandrlll paused thoughtfully for a moment. "Well, you're not much," he said skeptically. "But with my help, maybe you could be something more. Alright. I still say I don't need you, but if you want my leadership, we can give it a shot." The trio left the ring together. Mandrill, though still outnumbered by the Brymstonians, was not alone anymore. MAIN EVENT: Scion Nexus and Titan Honor vs. Mike Fortune, Eclipse, and TanckThis match was the result of a challenge from Lord Nexus to Krakan, stipulating that the losing manager would leave the GWF permanently. The contest went back and forth for ten minutes, with Krakan and his men pulling out every possible underhanded trick to avoid defeat: distractions, interference, low blows, illegal objects, and other methods. Finally, however, Scion Nexus managed to get Tanck alone in the ring and pinned him with "The Apex" to claim the win and end the Invincilbe Krakan's long GWF career. Some observers felt that Eclipse could have made the pin save, but he seemed to hold back and arrived too late. The GWF won a majority of the federation vs. federation matchups on the evening by a slim 9-8 margin. The older federation also won three of the four champion-vs. champion matches. After the card, an angry Krakan sounded off. "They cheated us. The Titans always do," he howled. "Krakan never should have had to put his career on the line. But if they think I'm going to disappear, they're crazy. I always have a back up plan. You have not seen the last of Krakan." "As long as he stays out of the GWF, I don't care what he does," GWF Commissioner Morpheus stated when informed of Krakan's comments. "He lost. He's gone, immediately. If I see him at any of our events again, I'll have him thrown out and if possible arrested. Krakan is done. Thanks for the memories." (Note: Charon, Scorpio, Chupacabras, Pathfinder, Blitz, Lycanthrope, Predator, and Wrath are my own bootlegs. Assassin X is from the GWFZ Promoter Madness set. THUNDER TOPS MANDRILL FOR HEAVYWEIGHT BELT Thunder won the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship for the third time in 2114 and the fourth time in his career by defeating Mandrill for the title on December 1 at the Nereid Starplex of Neptune The Prime Colonizer had endured several violent attacks by his former War Games partners from the Brymstone Burning team in recent weeks, and the distraction of these assaults may have impacted his concentration in the match with Thunder. Whatever the reason, the champion was clearly off his game, and the Aethran challenger took full advantage. Thunder completely dominated the match, beating Mandrill down from the opening bell. The champion's new Animan allies, Minotaur and Antak, saw the jeopardy that their leader was in and ran to the ring, but Thunder was able to fend off their interference with help from Spike, who had accompanied him to ringside, and then turned his attention back to Mandrill, blasting the fallen champion with a final "Tempest" for the win. Thunder became the first wrestler to win the Galaxian belt three times in one year since Alpha Force pulled off the feat in 2097. His first title reign in 2114 lasted an impressive four months and eight title defenses, but the second ended after just over three weeks. Mandrill will be granted a rematch for the title at the year-ending Galacticade supercard. "I've beaten Thunder before, and I'll do it again," the Prime Colonizer stated. "He got lucky because Skull and his cronies had me distracted. Next time I'll have my focus in the right place, and the title will come back where it belongs." ECLIPSE KNOCKS OFF EURITAR FOR INTERPLANETARY TITLE Eclipse regained the Interplanetary Championship that he was forced to relinquish due to an injury earlier in 2114, defeating Euritar to claim the belt at the Stargazer Grotto on November 26. Eclipse was in control of the match from the beginning, but the champion refused to give in and thus suffered a terrific beating for nearly twelve minutes. With his opponent reeling and bleeding, Eclipse finally ended the match with a "Deadly Kick Exhibit" to win the title for the sixth time in his career, the first four coming under the name Rising Sun. Asked after the match if he felt that the recent banishment of his manager Krakan had impacted his performance, Eclipse scoffed. "Do you mean you think I was fighting to honor him or something? Get serious," he said. "Krakan was a means to an end. I honestly never liked him much. I didn't need him, and honestly I'm better off without him. I'll look for a new group next year with teammates that are closer to my level. The Deadly Militia is dead. Don't expect me to be sorry about it." BLAZING SKULL CLAIMS ANOTHER VICTIM Blazing Skull added another wrestler to the list of those he has badly burned when he sidelined the young Aethran Heathen in a match at the Stargazer Grotto on November 26. Skull won the match with a devastating "Death by Fire" that caught his rookie opponent squarely in the face. Heathen went down with a scream, his skin blistering and scorched. The other Aethrans came down and chased Skull from the ring, but Heathen had to be carried out and was immediately returned to Aethra. "Skull will pay for this," Spike stated later on the following day. "He thinks he has problems with Mandrill and the animals? He's started a war with Aethra now, and Aethrans do not lose wars. As for Heathen, he's in bad shape. I hope he'll be back one day, but I would not expect it soon." Heathen is the third wrestler to suffer career-threatening damage from Blazing Skull's blasts of fire. The first, in 2101, was USWF wrestler Man at Arms, who would later return to ring action under a mask as Knight of the Dark. The second, of course, was Crossfire, who died in the ring after being burned by Skull in 2102. "Of course we are investigating," GWF Commissioner Morpheus snapped after the incident. "None of us expected to see something like this again. We are all sickened by it. My office will look very carefully at this situation, and we will issue a decision on Skull's status when we have all relevant information." ARCHON SAVES AN OLD FRIEND A stunning incident took place after a match between Archon and Slayer at Ganymede Stadium on December 9, 2114. Before and during the match, Archon seemed more focused on Slayer's bodyguard, Tortured Soul, speaking to the zombie repeatedly and calling him Vulcepa, the name he was known by in life. Still Archon had no problem defeating his opponent, blasting Slayer with a "Riot Act" for the win in just three minutes. After the bell, Archon continued to brawl with Slayer. The battle was joined by Blazing Skull and Turge, who had just returned to ring action after an extensive injury layoff. As the Brymstone team beat him, Archon again began to call out to Tortured Soul by the name Vulcepa, begging him for help. The zombie stood frozen, watching the attack emotionlessly. And then, as Archon continued to call his old name, Tortured Soul blasted Blazing Skull from behind and knocked him out. With Skull out of the fight, Tortured Soul joined Archon in fending off Turge and Slayer. The Brymstone wrestlers dragged Blazing Skull from the ring and fled the scene. Archon embraced Tortured Soul, who, wth the battle ended, stood motionless and emotionless. However, he allowed Archon to lead him from the ring and to the dressing room area, and he left the arena with Archon later in the evening. "I knew my friend was in there somewhere," Archon said the following day. "I saw it in a match earlier this year. There was something in his eyes that was still Vulcepa. I don't know how much of him we can save, but I've already sent him back to Centaurus. Our best scientists will work to try to save him. But whatever happens, he's no longer in the control of Skull and his friends, and that's got to be better for him from here on." (Note: Heathen is a bootleg from the AAW Aethran Aftermath 2124 set by Chuck Clouser and Ray DeGarmo. Man at Arms and Knight of the Dark were my own bootlegs.)

RETIREMENTS ANNOUNCED AT GWF AWARDS BANQUET The GWF's 2114 year-end awards banquet was held at Earth’s Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on December 19, the night before the Galacticade Supercard. Most active GWF wrestlers, managers, and officials were present. Also attending were former GWF stars Omega, Raven, Lance At-Las, Ram, Mace, the Incredible Badger, Iron Mane, Spike, Justice, and others, as well as GWWF Commissioner Sandrisa Tralington, USWF Commissioner Grogan, and USWF Majority Owner Magnus Colby. GWF Commissioner Morpheus began the event by welcoming the attendees and acknowledging Omega, Grogan, Tralington, and Colby. He then presented the following awards: Wrestler of the Year: ThunderThunder won the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship three times in 2114, the first wrestler to accomplish such a feat since Alpha Force in 2097. He compiled a 34-19 overall record and is the current heavyweight champion. Runners-up: 1. Mensar (won the Galaxian Heavyweight championship twice and kept his team near the top of the War Games standings with a 28-23 record); 2. Blazing Skull (led Brymstone Burning to victory in the War Games with a 36-16 overall record); 3. Eclipse (was injured for a significant portion of the year but still won the Interplanetary Championship twice and had a 35-12 overall record). Tag Team of the Year: Twin BloodFor the third straight year and the fifth time in seven years, Dreggs and Sleeze were named the top team in the federation as they held the GWF Tag Team Belts for the majority of the War Games and nearly led the Rocketmen to a comeback victory in the Games. Runners-up: 1. Predator and Wrath (held the tag team belts for five months and had a 26-19 overall record); 2. Desolation Factor (The current GWF Tag Team Champions had a 34-16 overall record on the year); After the awards were presented, Morpheus announced that two GWF stars had requested to make statements. Sleeze took the microphone first, accompanied by his brother Dreggs. "We're proud to have been named tag team of the year again," Sleeze said. "But now it's time to move on, at least for me. I've given this federation all I have, and I need to take some time for myself now. So, tomorrow will be the last match for Twin Blood. My brother here plans to stick around next year, but I'm going to find something less stressful and painful to do. But we are very happy that our final match is scheduled to be against Overkill and Malice. We're going to put on one more show against the Aethrans, and then it's time to move on." Star Warrior took the microphone next. "It's time for me to go too," he said sadly. "You all know that Supernova has already announced her retirement. Alpha has been gone for a long time. The only family I have left here is Bloodline, and he won't even speak to me. I don't want to end up fighting against him anymore. So this is goodbye, at least for now. I've been in the GWF for thirty-five years, and I think that's enough. I thank everyone for all of the great times." "You're leaving? Just like that?" Pegasus cried out from his seat in the audience. The seven-time Galaxian Champion was still sidelined from an injury inflicted on him by Anarchy in early November. "You don't think you could have told the wrestlers you manage?" "I'm sorry, Pegasus," Star Warrior replied. "This was a decision I reached with my family. We didn't think it concerned anyone else." Pegasus continued to glower angrily at Star Warrior but said no more. The banquet ended without further excitement, and all of the GWF stars left to prepare for the upcoming supercard.
