NWA Pro Wrestling Huntsville, AL Pirata Morgan defeated Mike JacksonMorgan dominated from the opening bell and won inside of four minutes after a SENTON and pin. Tiger Conway Jr won by disqualification over The Spoiler despite not getting one single move on offense.Spoiler seemed intent on proving a point or something as he decimated Conway. In the end he grabbed a broom from underneath the ring and broke the handle over Conway's back to get disqualified. Ranger Ross pinned Cuban Assassin. The Cuban seemed to have the victory in hand, but Ross fought back and got the pin after a hard vertical suplex and floatover into the pin. Don and Rocky Kernodle won by disqualification over Missing Link and Hugh Morrus.Hugh Morrus made his surprise return and looked impressive. They teams fought hard for nearly fifteen minutes until Morrus tossed Don out of the ring and attempted to distract the referee. Link grabbed a beer bottle from a fan at ringside and blasted Don in the head. The referee turned around and instantly called for the bell. After the match, with Don Kernodle down on the floor and bleeding after getting hit with the bottle, Link and Hugh Morrus double teamed Rocky. Hugh Morrus went up to the top rope and hit NO LAUGHING MATTER to end the devastation of the Kernodle brothers. Harley Race pinned Thunderbolt Patterson by using the ropes for leverage but Patterson stood tall in the end. Great main event. Harley finally managed to get an advantage after almost twenty minutes and hit a VERTICAL SUPLEX for the cover. He put his feet on the ropes for added leverage to get the pin. Patterson got up mad and wore out Harley with a series of head butts after the bell to send Race running out of the ring and down the aisle and leave the fans happy.

NWA PRO WRESTLINGMobile, AL
Hustler Rip Rogers pinned Manny Villalobos.Manny fought hard, but his luck ran out and Rip got the pin in around five minutes after a bone jarring suplex. Tiger Conway Jr beat Bill White.
White is always a tough opponent, but Conway got the win in seven minutes with a belly to belly suplex and pin. Sgt Slaughter defeated Samoan Samu (w/Oliver Humperdink) by disqualification.
Humperdink seems to have his Samoans targeting Sarge for some reason. After several minutes of solid action Sarge seemed to have the match in hand when Sefa Fatu once again ran down and attacked. Slaughter and Fatu brawled to the back the same way they did on World Championship Wrestling days earlier. The Fantastics beat The Midnight Express (w/Jim Cornette).
Corny was just a little late to interfere in this one, as Fulton pinned Dennis after a FANTASTIC FLIP after twelve minutes of great tag team wrestling. US champion Rowdy Roddy Piper entered the ring for a live Piper's Pit. He began to talk but was interrupted by The Spoiler. Spoiler said Piper got lucky against Rick Rude because he let personal animosity get the better of him and it caused him to make mistakes. Roddy began to talk again, but Spoiler cut him off. Spoiler said Rude is a better athlete, stronger, faster, and has a better mind behind him in Bobby Heenan. He said from where he's standing Roddy doesn't look like much. Roddy yanked the mic away and said Spoiler may need to get a closer look because Roddy Piper is the best there is at what he does, and what he does isn't very nice. Spoiler tried to talk, but this time it was Roddy who cut him off. He said if Spoiler thinks he can do better than Rick Rude, he can see him in the ring next week on World Championship Wrestling. Ox Baker pinned One Man Gang after the HEART PUNCH in a no disqualification match. Ox did it again in a match with no DQ and nobody allowed at ringside. Gang was beating him all over the ring, but the Oxen in the crowd drove Baker to keep going until he finally hit his dreaded finisher and got the pin.

World Championship Wrestlingw/Jim Ross and Gordon Solie Gordon and JR kicked off the show and were joined by Macho Man Randy Savage. Randy said he will go through everyone in the Bobby Heenan family if that is what it takes to get to Paul Orndorff and get his world title back. JR noted that, indeed, tonight's main event will see Savage do battle with former US champion Ravishing Rick Rude and that may not be such an easy task. Randy replied that nothing comes easy and he'll take it easy, sleazy, or any other way and no matter how many forks in the road it all leads back to the NWA world title for Macho Man Randy Savage. Tiger Conway Jr pinned Keith Steinborn.Keith did his best at the outset, but Conway quickly overwhelmed him and won by pinfall after a FLYING HEAD BUTT. Conway joined JR and Gordon after the match and began talking about his recent troubles with The Spoiler. He was interrupted by Sir Oliver Humperdink who warned Conway to take a hike before he ends up on the bad side of the baddest family in pro wrestling, the Samoan Family. Same and Alofa stood behind Humperdink and Conway said it wasn't worth the trouble if it isn't in the ring and left. Gordon asked Humperdink about the new member of the Samoans who has been attacking Sgt Slaughter everywhere he goes lately and why he's doing it. Dink said the reasons why will be revealed in time, but Sgt Slaughter is the first of many to meet the youngest and most vicious member of the clan, and now the whole world will see just what Sefa Fatu can do in the ring. Sefa Fatu made an impressive debut with a win over Mike Jackson.Jackson gave it a valiant effort, but Fatu was just too tough. Fatu used a powerful pop-up Samoan Drop to score the pin. Bobby Heenan and Rick Rude were interviewed by JR and Gordon. Bobby said Randy Savage is a lunatic and he belongs in a straight jacket, but instead tonight he's going to have to settle for a Rude Awakening. Rude bellowed that Savage doesn't know what he got himself into, but by the end of the night he will understand because he'll be looking up at the lights courtesy of Ravishing Rick Rude. Laughing Man Hugh Morrus beat Ranger Ross.Hugh Morrus was determined to make an impressive return to singles action here as he bulldozed the usually tough Ross and won with NO LAUGHING MATTER. After the match Kevin Sullivan spoke to JR and Gordon. He said Ox Baker is riding high on fan adoration now that he's broken away from the Dungeon Of Doom, but now it's no laughing matter because Hugh Morrus has returned to bring new levels of comedy and tragedy. He talked about what his men did to Don and Rocky Kernodle and warned that if they decide to return the worst is yet to come. Gordon asked about the imminent return of Big Van Vader and if he is worried. Sullivan said Vader has never been the same since Dungeon Of Doom got hold of him and even if he was not completely successful in converting the Mastodon, he's halfway there and if he comes back the job will be completed. Gordon then discussed the confrontation between Roddy Piper and Spoiler at a recent live event and how that led to our upcoming US title match. Rowdy Roddy Piper beat The Spoiler to defend the US title. Spoiler was looking to live up to his name and spoil the title reign of Roddy. He nearly accomplished his feat in this great title match, but Roddy slapped on the SLEEPER to defend the title in about fifteen minutes. Tag team champions Terry Gordy and Steve Williams talked to JR and once again boasted about being the greatest tag team in the world and completely unbeatable. Williams said there's not a team on the planet that can match them right now. Gordy told JR the NWA can line them all up and they will knock them all down. Paul Ellering walked out tapping a rolled up copy of Wall Street Journal in his hand. He looked Gordy and Williams up and down, laughed like a maniac, and casually walked away. The fans errupted, knowing what this fortells, as Gordy and Williams looked on in stunned silence. Macho Man Randy Savage pinned Ravishing Rick Rude after referee Tommy Young sent Bobby Heenan away from ringside. INcredible main event. Randy survived the barrage by Rude and came back. He went for a pin after a piledriver, but Bobby Heenan tried to interfere. TOmmy Young caught him and ejected him from ringside. Randy rallied and got the win after the FLYING ELBOW.

NWA Pro Wrestling San Antonio, TX Pirata Morgan beat El Hijo De Lycosa.Exciting opener between two combatants from south of the border. Lycosa nearly had it won, but Morgan solidified his reputation as a bona fide contender with the pin after the MOONSAULT BODYBLOCK. The Roughnecks (Big Bully Busick and Dirty Frank Dalton) beat the Mulkey Brothers. The recently formed team of Busick and Dalton dominated in under four minutes. Dalton pinned Randy after an ATOMIC DROP as Busick ran interference. This team could show up on the main stage soon. Cuban Assassin won by disqualification over Mike Rotundo.Great action here. They went about twelve minutes. Cuban took it to the floor and hit Mike with the ring bell. Rotundo fought back and threw Assassin out of the ring and returned the favor. However, he was not as adept at cheating as Cuban Assassin and got caught, causing the disqualification. Wahoo McDaniel pinned Kevin Sullivan.Sullivan attacked before the bell and beat down Wahoo in the opening minutes. Wahoo fought back with his trademark chops and won by pinfall with the TOMAHAWK CHOP. US Champ Roddy Piper and Thunderbolt Patterson went to a double disqualification with world champ Paul Orndorff and Harley Race (w/Bobby Heenan). An intense fight in the main event. In the end Roddy locked in the SLEEPER on Harley, but Orndorff attacked Roddy to break the hold. Patterson came in to even the sides and brawled with Race as the US champ and the world champ traded blows. The referee could not restore order and called for the disqualification. In the end Piper and Patterson held the high ground in the ring, calling their adversaries back to finish the fight as manager Bobby Heenan demanded his charges leave and regroup to fight again when it matters.

NWA World Championship Wrestlingw/Jim Ross and Gordon Solie JR and Gordon did a quick rundown of the lineup for tonight and then it was time for the opening bout. Gordon discussed the recent rivalry between the combatants and then it was time for the introductions by Gary Michael Cappetta. The Spoiler beat Tiger Conway Jr in a fierce battle. It could easily have gone either way, but in the end Spoiler locked in the BIONIC CLAW for a solid victory in about eight minutes. The Samoan Savages (Samu and Afa Jr)w/Oliver Humperdink beat Sam Houston and Scott Casey.Casey shined a little in the outset, but the Samoans quickly overwhelmed the cowboys and Samu got the pin after the DIVING HEAD BUTT. After the bout Gordon spoke with Sir Oliver and his Samoans. Dink said Sefa Fatu showed his dominance last week and now his main tag team Samu and Afa Jr have proven why they are just one title shot away from tag team gold. Gordon asked again about the apparent vendetta against Sgt Slaughter and noted that Sarge would be in action later in the program. Humperdink just said Slaughter should know exactly why the Samoan family is targeting him and led his men away from the interview area. After the commercials it was time for Piper's Pit as the US champ Roddy was joined by former world champ Macho Man Randy Savage. Savage point blank called out the world champion and Mr Wonderful Paul Orndorff came out to answer, accompanied by manager Bobby Heenan. Orndorff said Savage has not business even using the name of Mr Wonderful after the way Paul Orndorff took the world title, proving himself to be the greatest wrestler holding gold in this world today. That got the attention of Roddy, who said he has the US title and he thinks he is pretty good if he does say so himself. Heenan told Piper to shut up and said Orndorff would bury him in the ring. Savage drew the attention back to himself and said maybe next week we should have a tag team match with the Macho Man and the US champ against Orndorff and "one of Heenan's other lackeys". Heenan said they've done this dance before and Savage sounds like he's repeating himself. Macho said he'd make it interesting: if he loses, he leaves the NWA for sixty days. If Heenan's team loses, Savage gets the next title shot with Orndorff. Piper slowed things down a little and said there was nothing in it for him. He proposed that whoever gets the pin on Heenan's team gets the next shot at Orndorff. Savage seemed a little miffed at Roddy and the two exchanged words off microphone. Mr Wonderful gladly accepted the challenge and said neither one of them could pin Paul Orndorff's shoulders to the mat for a count of three. Heenan said they'd see Savage and Piper in the ring next week "if they can get along long enough to make it to the ring". Sgt Slaughter beat Rip Rogers with the COBRA CLUTCH.Rip had his moments of glory, but Sarge put him away in under five minutes with the COBRA CLUTCH. Sarge was ready for an ambush after the bell, but it didn't happen and Slaughter made his way back to the locker room without incident. Jim Ross spoke with Thunderbolt Patterson. Ross said T-bolt has one more shot against rival Harley Race tonight. Patterson told Ross he's ready, willing, and able tonight. He talked about the fight he and Piper had in San Antonio the other night with Race and Orndorff and told Ross that tonight there won't be any tag team partners to help out. He said the fans will be the deciding factor and he knows the crowd in Atlanta is on the side of Thunderbolt Patterson. The fans cheered wildly as Ross thanked Patterson for his time. Ox Baker pinned Missing Link in a wild match. Ox keeps driving towards the top in his feud with the Dungeon Of Doom. This one was long and intense, with Link trying to pin Ox several times in the opening minutes. Ox fought back and, cheered on by his Oxen in the stands, was pulled to victory following a leg drop and pin. Following the decision Hugh Morrus ran out and attacked Ox Baker. Link recovered and they were kicking and stomping Ox until Tiger COnway Jr, Sam Houston, Scott Casey, and several referees and officials ran out to chase them away. Ox recovered and went over to Ross and Solie, took the mic, and said he's not going to be finished until he has driven Kevin Sullivan and the Dungeon Of Doom out of professional wrestling. He said he may have seen the error of his ways, but it hasn't softened him one bit and he's still the Great Heart Puncher and the nastiest man in the sport. He concluded by saying the only difference is that he has the Oxen out there cheering him on and that way he knows he can't lose. Before the main event, Gordon Solie welcomed back former junior heavyweight champion Gerald Brisco to sit in on guest commentary. Thunderbolt Patterson won by disqualification over Harley Race. Tremendous match between these two again. Patterson had the crowd solidly behind him as they traded blows and big moves for over twelve minutes. When the action went to the floor Race got nasty and introduced a steel chair into the bout. He battered Patterson and drew the DQ, but kept pounding away. Finally Brisco had seen enough and raced over from the commentary position to take the chair from Race from behind and chase him away from ringside. As Brisco helped his friend at ringside, Race spoke with Gordon and JR. He said Gerald Brisco just put himself in the crosshairs of Harley Race and that's a very bad place to be. Race promised that if they want a war, they'll get one, and he has only barely even begun to fight.

NWA Pro Wrestling USA in conjunction with CWAMemphis, TN Maha Singh beat Rocky Kernodle.Singh avenged his previous loss with a pin after the SHOULDER BREAKER in about five minutes. Midnight Express (w/Cornette) beat The Fantastics when Dennis pinned Rogers.Another tag team classic between these teams. After about fifteen minutes Dennis caught Tommy with the FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP for the pin. Sgt Slaughter beat Alofa (w/Oliver Humperdink) and fended off a Samoan attack w/ help from Don Kernodle.Alofa started strong, but Slaughter came back and pinned him around the six minutes mark after a backbreaker drop. Sefa Fatu attacked Sarge yet again, with Humperdink helping Alofa to his feet to join in. Don Kerndodle ran out with a chair to chase them away. Sarge thanked his former tag team championship partner and stayed ringside for the next match. Don Kernodle won by disqualification over Hugh Morrus. The battle raged for ten solid minutes as Sarge stayed ringside to make sure the Dungeon Of Doom would not get involved. Eventually it went to the floor where Morrus could not help himself and hit Don with the ring bell to get disqualified. Sarge raced over and chased Hugh away to make sure no more damage was done.
Terry Gordy and Steve Williams beat CWA tag team champions PG-13 to defend the world tag team titles. PG-13 got tossed around like rag dolls early. Finally they got their opening after a cheap shot and a Human Cough Drop on Williams. JC and Wolfie were in control for a while until Gordy got into the ring. A bit of back and forth and tagging in and out ensued until Gordy used the BAMM BAMM SLAM on JC Ice for the pin.
Tommy Gilbert surprised Bob Armstrong with a loaded knee pad RUNNING KNEE in a Memphis Street Fight. the patriarchs of the feuding Gilberts and Armstrongs went at it in a big match for the CWA. Bob lit him up for the entire match, not giving Gilbert a chance to breathe. Finally Gilbert got an opening, snatched a hammerlock, and ran Bob hard into the corner to down the leader of clan Armstrong. Tommy then loaded his knee pad and his a RUNNING KNEE LIFT for a surprise pin.
Rowdy Roddy Piper beat Harley Race to defend the US title. An incredible match, as you'd expect. Race kept going to the leg and punishing Piper with the Indian Deathlock. Piper likewise worked the left leg of Race and wore him down with the figure four every chance he got. With both men struggling to stay on their feet after such punishment, Piper finally used a back suplex pinning combination to get the win in roughly 20 minutes and defend his US title in spectacular fashion.

CWA WRESTLINGw/ your host Lance RussellImportant special edition. Stuff happens here, folks.Lance welcomed the fans to another exciting edition of Memphis style wrestling with the announcement that The world heavyweight champion Mr Wonderful Paul Orndorff and members of the Bobby Heenan Family are in the building tonight and will be appearing on today's broadcast. Lance was joined by Leaping Lanny Poffo who affirmed Lance's statement and said he's been challenged to step in the ring with Ravishing Rick Rude and he feels like he's up to the challenge. Lance warned Lanny to watch out for Heenan and said he knows as well as Lance does that the Heenan Family may have ulterior motives for issuing that challenge. Lanny told Lance that he's prepared for anything and win, lose, or draw Rick Rude is in for the match of his life.
Exotic Adrian Street beat up the Mighty Yankee. The masked Yankee (the utility black and white Mr X card to you Legends fans) was not in fact very mighty as Street picked him apart inside of three minutes, and looked fantastic in doing so. After the match Adrian spoke with Lance. He said he's bored with the lack of competition here and he may need to find a real challenge. He said he sees Dynamite Kid prancing around with the junior heavyweight title but he doesn't seem to be doing much with it. Street said that may change soon if Kid will quit playing flunky for little Jimmy Cornette and step in the ring with a real man. Ravishing Rick Rude (w/Bobby Heenan) hung on to beat Leaping Lanny Poffo.Heenan was instrumental in the end, as Lanny held up to his promise from earlier and gave Rude all he could handle. He went for a pin at about the ten minute mark after hitting the SKY DROP, but Heenan distracted the referee. That allowed Rude to get back into the match and get the pin with the RUDE AWAKENING. After the bell world champion Paul Orndorff ran out and put the boots to Poffo before picking him up and delivering a devastating PILEDRIVER. Orndorff barked at Poffo to "tell your brother he's next" before insultingly wiping the sweat from his brow and flicking it on the downed Poffo. Austin Idol came out and grabbed the mic from Lance. He called to Orndorff and said Paul may be the world champ, but Idol is the CWA southern heavyweight champion and this is his domain. So if you step into this den you're going to get the lion. Paul came over to get in Idol's face and said maybe he needs a warm-up before beating up Savage and Piper and he definitely needs to put a little regional champion in his place. He told Eddie Marlin to make the match as Heenan tried to calm Paul down and talk him out of it. Marlin said as far as he's concerned it's official as today's main event, but he told Idol he can't sanction a world title match without the approval of the championship committee so it's a non-title match. Austin Idol said all he needs is the opportunity and he'll earn the title shot. Superstar Bill Dundee beat Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony. These two have been going back and forth lately and this was yet another intense battle. In the end Dundee used his quickness for a sunset flip and pin inside of about eight minutes. Koko Ware and Brickhouse Brown, The Blackbirds joined Lance for an interview. Koko said everyone is out there talking tough and trying to make their names, but Koko Ware and the Brickhouse just keep winning. He said he noticed PG-13 got their world tag team title match, and they fell short. But Brown and Ware keep getting overlooked. Brown wondered why that is and said if they can't get noticed one way, they will just do it another. And that other way isn't going to be "PG-13" it's going to be R rated for blood and gore, and maybe a little foul language on the side. Dirty Dutch Mantell pinned Randy Rose.Rose is trying to find himself after his short lived team up with Tom Prichard has come to an end. He took on one of the top dogs in the area and made a good showing for himself despite coming up short. Mantell got the pin in roughly six minutes with a DOUBLE DUTCH CLUTCH. Austin Idol won by disqualification over NWA world champion Paul Orndorff. What a match. Idol was in control for most of the opening minutes of the match, sending Heenan into a panic at ringside. Paul got back into the match and brutalized the would-be challenger. Paul kept going for the pin but Idol would not stay down. After some more back and forth action the bout went to the floor around the fifteen minute mark. There Paul grabbed a chair from ringside and hit Idol to cause the disqualification. Before anything else could happen Dundee and Dutch rushed the ringside area with baseball bats and chased away Heenan and Orndorff.
Austin Idol regained his senses and went over to talk to Lance. He said if that's the way Orndorff wants to carry himself as world champion, then he shouldn't have the belt. He said with the fans support and the backing of the championship committee Idolmania is going to run wild over the entire NWA and he will be your next world heavyweight champion.
