WPW #10: “The Road to Full Load” Power Hour on Discovery Channel In-Ring Segment: Bryan Danielson, Matt Sydal, Jake Something, and Leyla Hirsch come to the ring. Bryan explains that he and Jake are done playing around; they have brought in reinforcements. They are D-Meditation-X. Bryan tells MJF now that he’s earned his rematch he’s coming for him at Full Load and this time D-Meditation-X is going to “align the **** out of your chakras.” Brian Pillman Jr. (0-4) w/Jeff Cobb vs. Will Osprey (1-1) w/Zack Sabre Jr.
Three weeks ago when BPJ lost to Will Osprey, BPJ claimed “this isn’t over,” and intends to show Osprey and ZSJ that he has some backup by introducing Jeff Cobb as his cornerman. After a spirited matchup, Pillman hits the DIRE PROMISE, but as the ref is counting, Cobb grabs BPJ by the ankle and pulls him out of the ring and then blasts him in the face with a “lead pipe.” The ref DQ’s Osprey and BPJ is left motionless on the floor while Will Osprey, Zack Sabre Jr., and Jeff Cobb celebrate together in the ring. Result: Pillman d. Osprey by DQ after interference by Jeff Cobb. Ricky Starks (1-2) w/Val Venis vs. Jay White (1-3) Jay White picked up his first win in WPW last week but couldn’t keep the streak alive. Ricky Starks was able to secure a victory via pinfall after catching the Switchblade in the RO SHAM BO. Result: Starks d. Jay White by pinfall after RO SHAM BO.
Video Package: WPW World Champion Kenny Omega tells Drew McIntyre that he’s not worried about his competition at Full Load because tonight Drew McIntyre will have to first get through Cornette’s former client, Big Van Vader. Omega says he probably won’t even have to show up at the PPV this weekend.
Lethal Savages (1-0) [Randy Savage (4-2) & Jay Lethal (2-3)] w/ Allie Katch (“Liz”) vs. Warhausen (0-1) [Warhorse (0-2) & Danhausen (1-1)] w/Larry Zbyszko Warhausen is introduced with their new manager, Living Legend Larry Zbyszko. In a rather one-sided match, Lethal Savages gain another victory when Jay Lethal pins Danhausen following a LETHAL INJECTION. Result: Lethal Savages def. Warhausen Big Van Vader (3-2) w/WPW World Champion Kenny Omega vs. Drew McIntyre (3-1) w/Jim Cornette Jim Cornette cuts a promo on Omega on the way to the ring saying that McIntyre will make short work of Vader and then walk out of Full Load with the WPW World Title. Drew puts up a solid defense against the power of Vader. At one point, Vader grabs Omega’s broom outside the ring and tries to smash Drew. Vader climbs the turnbuckle and attempts a VADERSAULT, but McIntyre moves out of the way, unfortunately his luck will soon run out. Vader smashes McIntyre with a VADER BOMB and Corny tosses Drew his tennis racquet but Vader intercepts it and smashes Drew in the skull before covering him for the 1-2-3. After the match, Omega celebrates in the ring with Vader, holding up both his WPW World Title belt and Jim Cornette’s racquet. He says he’s looking forward to the easy job he’s going to have at Full Load. Result: Vader def. McIntyre by pinfall after a VADER BOMB and tennis racquet smash. Next Week: WPW FULL LOAD on High Spots Wrestling Network

WPW #11: FULL LOAD on High Spots Wrestling Network
“Clash of Styles” AJ Styles vs. Benjamin Carter This bout features the WPW debut of wrestling mega star the “Phenomenal” AJ Styles. His opponent, U.K.-born Ben Carter, also known as “UK Styles,” could not match skill with his namesake. AJ Styles pins Carter following a STYLE’S CLASH. After the match, AJ Styles grabs the microphone and calls out the United Empire, namely Will Osprey, calling them “bucktooth p*****s” and that “they don’t want none.” Result: AJ Styles def. Ben Carter via pinfall after STYLE’S CLASH.
United Empire (0-1) [Will Osprey (1-2) & Jeff Cobb] vs. Brian Pillman Jr. (1-4) & Jushin “Thunder” Liger
Brian Pillman Jr. makes his entrance with a microphone. He tells United Empire that he got out a Ouija board and asked his dad for advice. He asked his dad who his partner should be and he gave him only one name: Jushin “Thunder” Liger. BPJ and Liger prove to be excellent tag team partners. BPJ gets another win on the record when Jushin Liger pins The Commonwealth Kingpin Will Osprey following a tombstone piledriver. Result: Liger & BPJ def. United Empire by pinfall. Macho Man Randy Savage (5-2) w/Jay Lethal & Allie Katch vs. Kevin Steen (4-1) Savage and Steen are currently the top two contenders in WPW and this proves to be a fast-paced contest. The Lethal Savages refrain from getting involved in the match and Macho Man pins Kevin Steen following a FLYING ELBOW DROP. Macho celebrates with Jay Lethal and “Liz” in the ring after the match. Result: Macho Man def. Kevin Steen via pinfall after FLYING ELBOW DROP.
Announcement: The B1 CLIMAX Tournament will kick off next week on WPW Power Hour, an 8-boy tournament to determine the first WPW Boys Champion and the finals will be held at the next WPW pay-per-view event WPW BOYS ‘R’ US. The eight competitors are: Eddie Kingston, Danhausen, Sammy Guevara, Jay White, Jay Lethal, “Sticky” Ricky Starks, & Jim Cornette. Bryan Danielson (3-2) w/D-Meditation-X vs. MJF (4-2) w/Mr. Hughes
Bryan Danielson displays quite a cocky, confident disposition now that he is affiliated with the likes of Matt Sydal, Jake Something, and their female bodyguard “Legit” Leyla Hirsch. MJF kisses his pinky ring before heading to the ring and this heated rematch kicks off. MJF gets Danielson outside the ring and blasts him with his pinky ring before stuffing it back in his trunks. He gets him in the ring and cinches in the SALT OF THE EARTH ARMBAR, but D-Meditation-X storms the ring. Leyla holds the ref in the corner while Jake & Sydal rescue Danielson. During the fracas Danielson rolls up MJF in a small package for the pinfall. MJF is furious and says nobody has ever accused him of having a small package before storming out. Result: Bryan Danielson d. MJF via pinfall with small package
Big Van Vader (3-2) vs. Diamond Dallas Page (2-0) DDP has been climbing the ranks quickly since his debut and wants to test himself against WPW stalwart Big Van Vader. DDP still takes time to pass out vouchers for free trials of DDPY on the way to the ring because “it’s more than just yoga.” Vader hits a VADERSAULT off the top rope, but DDP manages to kick out. DDP hangs on for a little while longer, but Vader eventually puts the nail in the coffin with a VADERBOMB for the 1-2-3. Result: Vader d. DDP via pinfall after VADERBOMB WPW World Championship WPW World Champion Kenny Omega (3-2) vs. Drew McIntyre (3-1) w/Jim Cornette This highly anticipated match-up proved to be a worthy main event. Omega blasts McIntyre with a flurry of signature moves from the offset and Cornette is forced to intervene with his tennis racquet to keep his man alive. After Cornette tries one too many times to distract the referee, he is unceremoniously ejected from ringside. Corny throws a fit as he is escorted back to the locker room area. Without Cornette’s advice and assistance (and racquet) it didn’t take long for Omega to hit McIntyre with an AOI SHOUDOU and cover him for the pin. As fireworks go off over the ring, Kenny Omega stands triumphant as the reigning WPW World Champion. Result: Kenny Omega def. Drew McIntyre via pinfall after AOI SHOUDOU to retain the WPW World Championship

WPW #12: Power Hour on Azteca America
A.J. Styles (1-0) vs. Zack Sabre Jr. (1-1) w/Will Osprey & Jeff Cobb A.J. Styles called out the United Empire at FULL LOAD but Osprey is hiding behind his stablemates, sending ZSJ to do the deed this evening. The Phenomenal One hits a STYLES CLASH and goes for the pin but Cobb drags ZSJ’s leg to the ropes instigating the referee to send the United Empire back to the locker room. Without his allies to assist, ZSJ gets caught in a Calf Crusher before falling victim to a final STYLES CLASH and Styles gets the pin. After the match, Styles crams fish and chips into ZSJ’s mouth, looks into the camera, and tells Will Osprey, “you’re next.” Result: AJ Styles d. Zack Sabre Jr. via pinfall after STYLES CLASH Lethal Savages (2-0) [Randy Savage (6-2) & Jay Lethal (3-3)] w/Allie Katch (“Liz”) vs. D-Meditation-X (2-0) [Bryan Danielson (4-2) & Jake Something (3-2)] The American Dragon, leader of D-Meditation-X, is on a mission to take over The WPW. Macho Man, the current #1 ranked wrestler in WPW did not show any signs of wear after his intense battle with Kevin Steen at FULL LOAD. Despite the skills of DX, the Lethal Savages come out on top of this exchange when Macho Man Randy Savage pins Bryan Danielson following a FLYING ELBOW DROP. After the match, Macho Man’s stash of cocaine falls out of his boot while they are celebrating, Allie picks it up and stuffs it in her cleavage. Result: Lethal Savages d. D-Meditation-X Backstage Promo: Jim Cornette with his client Drew McIntyre says that the rumors are true, he has entered himself into the B1 CLIMAX Tournament. Since nobody can do anything right, he’s going to prove that even he can win the WPW Boys Championship and eventually dethrone Kenny Omega. He says he’ll have Big Daddy Drew in his corner, but Drew tells him that since he did not win the WPW World Title at FULL LOAD he was allowed to enter the tournament. Unfortunately there was only one open spot: versus Jim Cornette in the first round! Cornette is livid, calling McIntyre ungrateful. MJF (4-3) w/Mr. Hughes vs. Matt Sydal w/Leyla Hirsch MJF’s beef with the newly-formed D-Meditation-X is far from settled. Tonight MJF targets Danielson’s #2, Matt Sydal. Sydal comes prepared with his female bodyguard, “Legit” Leyla Hirsch and they leave no option unexplored when it comes to dirty tactics. MJF locks in a SALT OF THE EARTH ARMBAR but Leyla Hirsch distracts him from the apron and Sydal comes from behind with a dastardly low-blow. After Sydal is able to hit a SHOOTING STAR PRESS, Mr. Hughes drops an elbow to break the pin but Hughes’ elbow lands on MJF and Hughes rolls helplessly back outside the ring. Sydal hits a Sydal Special and gets the pin on MJF while Mr. Hughes was recovering, securing a victory in his debut match in WPW. Result: Matt Sydal d. MJF via pinfall after Sydal Special
Announcement: The B1 CLIMAX Tournament to crown the first ever WPW Boys Champion kicks off next week on WPW Power Hour. The first round matches will include: Jay White vs. Sammy Guevara, Danhausen vs. Ricky Starks, Jay Lethal vs. Eddie Kingston, and Jim Cornette vs. Drew McIntyre. Pre-taped Promo: WPW World Champion Kenny Omega breathlessly proclaims that he is untouchable at the top of WPW. Cornette has failed time and again to usurp him and whoever his next title contender is he’s going to demolish them in the same fashion as his opponent tonight, “Switchblade” Jay White. WPW World Champion Kenny Omega (4-2) vs. Jay White (1-4) In the true definition of the term “squash match,” WPW World Champion Kenny Omega utterly destroys Switchblade Jay White in a matter of seconds, blasting him with a V-TRIGGER and covering him for the 1-2-3. Result: Kenny Omega d. Jay White via pinfall after V-TRIGGER

WPW #13: Power Hour on Azteca America
D-Meditation-X (2-1) [Bryan Danielson (4-3) & Matt Sydal (1-0)] vs. BPJ/Liger (1-0) [Brian Pillman Jr. (2-4) & Jushin Liger (1-0)] Danielson and Sydal rely on their female bodyguard “Legit” Leyla Hirsch to keep them alive in this matchup. At one point, Danielson tosses BPJ out of the ring and tries to stab him with a chakra crystal but the referee lets it slide. Danielson manages to hook in the CROSSFACE CHICKEN WING, Liger attempts to make the save but Sydal flies in from the opposite corner and takes him out. BPJ quickly taps out as Danielson gets his legs properly hooked. D-Meditaion-X celebrates in the ring as their familiar theme song plays. Result: D-Meditation-X def. BPJ/Liger Video Package: Jim Cornette, in preparation for his B1 Climax Tournament matchup next week with Big Daddy Drew McIntyre, returns home to his native Louisville, KY. There, at Castle Cornette, Jim walks his dog Harley Quinn, mows his lawn, and packages orders for Cornette’s Collectibles to break a sweat. “Training montage” ends with Corny eating a double cheeseburger. Big Daddy Drew McIntyre ventures home to Ayr, Scotland to train for his matchup against his manager and mentor. B1 Climax Tournament First Round Danhausen (1-2) w/Larry Zbyszko vs. “Sticky” Ricky Starks (2-2) w/Val Venis Danhausen starts things off by spitting in the face of Sticky Ricky which disgusted The Stroke Daddy and proceeded to pour some teeth into Ricky’s mouth, making him gag. Danhausen attempts to pin Starks with a surprise rollup, Val Venis jumps up on the apron to distract and Danhausen tosses a handful of teeth at him. Starks comes back around but Danhausen lands a top rope lariat and a pin to advance in the B1 Climax Tournament. Result: Danhausen d. Ricky Starks via pinfall after top tope lariat
A.J. Styles (2-0) vs. Jeff Cobb (0-1) w/Will Ospreay
AJ Styles successfully took out Zack Sabre Jr. last week, working his way towards The Commonwealth Kingpin Will Ospreay. This week his task is to make it through the big man, Jeff Cobb. AJ Styles hits a STYLES CLASH but Will Ospreay slides into the ring, AJ breaks the pin only to catch an OSCUTTER out of nowhere but Cobb cannot capitalize. After a spirited battle, AJ hits a final STYLES CLASH on Cobb and this time the referee is between Ospreay and Cobb and AJ gets the 1-2-3. AJ tells Ospreay that he can’t keep hiding for long, he’s going to buy up all the fish and chips and tea and crumpets in England and tells him that he “don’t want none,” but now he “can’t have none.” Result: AJ Styles d. Jeff Cobb via pinfall after STYLES CLASH
Video Package: Eddie Kingston makes his debut next week on Power Hour in the B1 Climax Tournament facing Jay Lethal. Kingston cuts a promo about appearing here in Puerto Rico this month and on his opponent Lethal. B1 Climax Tournament First Round Sammy Guevara w/Thunder Rosa vs. Jay White (1-5) “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara makes his WPW debut alongside his valet “The Spanish Goddess” Thunder Rosa. These men both put on a fantastic performance in this first round tournament match. Switchblade Jay White goes to the well one too many times, leaping off the top rope but Guevara catches him on his shoulders and drops him in the GTH and gets the pinfall victory. After the match he kisses Thunder Rosa in the middle of the ring. Result: Sammy Guevara d. Jay White via pinfall after reversal into GTH Diamond Dallas Page (2-1) vs. MJF (4-4) w/Mr. Hughes Just a few short weeks ago, MJF was considered one of the top title contenders here in The WPW, but things change fast. MJF pulls his diamond ring from his trunks to clock DDP outside the ring while Mr. Hughes distracts the ref, but it isn’t enough to keep the veteran DDP down. MJF locks in the SALT OF THE EARTH ARMBAR, but DDP’s long legs get him to a rope break. After a grueling contest, DDP slams MJF in a face first piledriver and gets the pin. Result: DDP d. MJF via pinfall after face first piledriver Backstage Interview: WPW World Champion Kenny Omega was supposed to wrestle Disco Inferno in the main event but the match had to be cut for time. Omega breathlessly complains that he IS the main event, nobody has the right to cut his match for time and then he is suddenly cut off mid-sentence as a Spanish-language soap opera begins.

WPW #14: Power Hour on Azteca America In-Ring Promo: WPW World Champion Kenny Omega says that he will not be disrespected after being cut from last week’s show. He calls out his planned opponent Disco Inferno, Disco’s music hits, but nobody shows up. Suddenly MJF’s music plays. As MJF makes his way to the ring we see Mr. Hughes backstage with Disco, who has been stripped naked and stuck upside-down in a trashcan. MJF says that he’s sick of hearing Omega boast about beating jobbers and he’s going to prove he’s the next WPW World Champ. WPW World Champion Kenny Omega (5-2) vs. MJF (4-5) This impromptu match kicks off the show. Kenny Omega lands a tope con hiro on MJF, but when he goes for a second one, MJF sidesteps him and clocks him with his diamond ring before stuffing it back in his trunks. Omega hits a surprise V-TRIGGER but MJF gets a foot on the bottom rope. Omega hits the AOI SHOUDOU, but Mr. Hughes breaks the pin. After the action spills out of the ring once again, Omega hits a ONE WINGED ANGEL on MJF through the announce table. Omega then reaches inside MJF’s trunks, gropes around for a bit, and when he pulls out his hand he’s wearing MJF’s diamond ring and he punches Mr. Hughes in the face before stuffing it in his own trunks. Omega gets MJF back into the ring, hits the ONE WINGED ANGEL, and covers MJF for the win. After the match, Mr. Hughes attacks Omega from behind. He reaches into Omega’s trunks, retrieves the diamond ring and tosses it to MJF who slips it on his finger. He regrets kissing the ring before clocking Omega in the face leaving the WPW World Champion lying in the middle of the ring. Result: Kenny Omega d. MJF via pinfall after ONE WINGED ANGEL
Backstage Promo: “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara holds up his stupid cue cards durng the commercial break. The message focuses on his B1 Climax Tournament semi-final opponent Danhausen. B1 Climax Tournament First Round Jay Lethal (4-3) w/Allie Katch vs. Eddie Kingston Eddie Kingston enters to a big ovation for his debut match in WPW. Jay Lethal clearly pulls no punches as he continuously chokes Eddie Kingston on the ropes, breaking on the count of four, but dragging Eddie to all corners of the ring. All things considered, this turns out to be a fair, competitive match with both athletes doing their best to get closer to becoming the first WPW Boys Champion. Jay Lethal twists Kingston into a figure four leglock, but Kingston pokes him in the eyes in a desperate attempt to escape. Lethal drags him back to the center of the ring, applies the figure four once again, forcing Kingston to tap out. After the match, Jay Lethal lifts Allie onto his shoulder and hotdogs in the ring. Result: Jay Lethal d. Eddie Kingston by submission with figure four leglock Backstage Promo: The victorious Jay Lethal with Allie arrive backstage after their match and celebrate with Macho Man Randy Savage. Suddenly D-Meditation-X arrives. Their bodyguard “Legit” Leyla Hirsch puts Allie in a full nelson, Jake Something and Matt Sydal hold back Jay Lethal, and Bryan Danielson confronts Macho Man Randy Savage. Danielson tells Macho that Savage is the number one ranked wrestler in WPW, but Danielson is number two. Next week on “The Road to BOYS ‘R’ US” Power Hour, Danielson will challenge Macho Man Randy Savage to determine who will face WPW World Champion Kenny Omega at the pay-per-view. Macho tells him that they had better not hurt “Elizabeth,” and D-Meditation-X all look at each other confused. United Empire (0-2) [Will Ospreay (1-3) & Jeff Cobb (0-2)] vs. AJ Styles (3-0) & Diamond Dallas Page (3-1)
AJ Styles will finally get his hands on The Commonwealth Kingpin Will Ospreay in two weeks at BOYS ‘R’ US but first Ospreay is forcing AJ to endure a tag team match against the United Empire. Diamond Dallas Page’s music hits and he hands out DDPY merch on the way to the ring (because it’s more than just yoga). Jeff Cobb and DDP match size and strength, but Will Ospreay wants to prove he’s not a “bucktooth p***y.” DDP hits a DIAMOND CUTTER on Cobb but Ospreay flies in for the save. DDP wears down Ospreay and finally tags AJ Styles into the match. AJ rolls Ospreay up in a sunset flip, Cobb storms the ring as does DDP. During the fracas, Cobb drops an elbow on the back of AJ’s head and reverses the pin. As soon as the chaos settles, the ref counts AJ’s shoulders down for the 1-2-3. Result: United Empire d. Styles & DDP via pinfall B1 Climax Tournament First Round Jim Cornette w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan vs. Big Daddy Drew McIntyre (3-2) “No More Mr. Nice Guy” blasts through the arena as Jim Cornette makes his entrance for his in-ring wrestling debut in The WPW. As a big surprise Jim’s longtime idol Bobby “The Brain” Heenan makes his debut as Corny’s manager, and based on the bulge in Corny’s jocks, he is quite pleased about it. Big Daddy Drew has no sympy for Jim Cornette being much, much smaller than him, but Corny pulls all of the dirty tricks he can. Drew drops Corny with a DOUBLE ARM DDT but Heenan hops up on the apron to distract him from the pin. Heenan attempts to throw Corny his tennis racquet but Big Daddy Drew intercepts it and whacks Jim in the face. Heenan retrieves the racquet and tries to hide it in the front of his pants. Drew hits a Scot Drop and then another DOUBLE ARM DDT and goes for the cover. Heenan is stuck outside the ring trying to get the racquet back out of the front of his pants and there’s no way for Corny to kick out of this one. Big Daddy Drew celebrates his victory in the ring as the fans chant his new catch phrase: “Who’s your daddy? Drew’s Your Daddy!” Result: Big Daddy Drew d. Jim Cornette via pinfall after DOUBLE ARM DDT Next Week:

WPW #15 "The Road to BOYS ‘R’ US” Power Hour on Azteca AmericaWPW World Champion Kenny Omega (6-2) vs. Warhorse (0-3) Kenny Omega insists on opening this final Power Hour being broadcast live from Puerto Rico on Azteca America after he got snubbed two weeks ago. Omega says he doesn’t care who his opponent will be on Sunday, Danielson or Savage, and he’s going to do to them what he will do to Warhorse tonight. Omega must still be feeling the effects of his beatdown by MJF and Mr. Hughes last week as he is not able to pin Warhorse even after two V-TRIGGERS. Warhorse is able to side-step another V-TRIGGER sending the champion to the outside. Warhorse executes a lethal double stomp off the apron and tosses Omega back into the ring. Nobody can believe their eyes as Warhorse locks Kenny Omega into the SCORPION DEATHLOCK in the middle of the ring and Omega taps out as Warhorse headbangs. A beaten and embarrassed World Champion grabs his belt and scurries away. How will this affect the champ’s morale going into his title defense? Warhorse grabs a mic and says he can’t believe his first win in WPW was against the World Champion. He tells Danielson and Macho to beware as well because Warhorse is going to “Rule A** and Take Belts.” Result: Warhorse d. WPW World Champion Kenny Omega by submission with SCORPION DEATHLOCK
Backstage Promo: Jim Cornette can’t believe that Whorehouse just beat Twinkletoes and says that WPW is going down the toilet. Jim is cutting ties with Big Daddy Drew as he was unable to dethrone the champ, but Corny promises his next client will have what it takes to dominate WPW and become the champion, and that new client will make his debut soon. B1 Climax Tournament Semi Final Big Daddy Drew (4-2) vs. Jay Lethal (5-3) w/Allie Katch Jay Lethal attempts to use the same tactics that got him his first round victory last week against the debuting Eddie Kingston, choking Big Daddy Drew on the ropes whenever he gets the chance however every time Lethal tries his figure four leglock or other submission holds, Big Daddy Drew easily powers out or forces his way to a rope break. Lethal ducks out of the ring to avoid punishment from McIntyre, Big Daddy Drew follows him out and Lethal attempts to use Allie Katch as a human shield. Drew easily picks Allie up and sets her to the side, but Lethal blindsides McIntyre. Again Lethal’s figure four had no effect on McIntyre and following an Ego Trip, Big Daddy Drew scores the 1-2-3. Result: Drew McIntyre d. Jay Lethal by pinfall after Ego Trip to advance to the finals of the tournament Backstage Promo: AJ Styles says that he has already beaten Cobb and ZSJ and the only reason he lost the tag team match last week is because his partner Diamond Dallas Page could not focus and “yoga is for wussies.” He doesn’t think Ospreay has been “around the world,” maybe “across the world” (because the world is flat) and (ironically) says that Ospreay has a stupid accent and he’s going to beat him at BOYS ‘R’ US. B1 Climax Tournament Semi Final Sammy Guevara (1-0) w/Thunder Rosa vs. Danhausen (2-2) w/Larry Zbyszko Despite “The Spanish God'' Sammy Guevara being very athletic, the strangeness of Danhausen and his methodologies are quite a hurdle to cross. It doesn’t take long for Danhausen to request his jar of teeth from his manager “Living Legend'' Larry Zbyszko (whom Danhausen refers to as “Larry Legend”) and Danhausen performs Jar of Teethhausen on Guevara. Danhausen attempts Tequila Dancehausen but Sammy Guevara dodges his kick. Danhausen asks “Larry Legend” for his jar of teeth again but the referee threatens to send Zbyszko to the locker room. Danhausen connects with a DEVOTION DDTHAUSEN and scores the pinfall victory securing his spot in the finals of the B1 CLIMAX TOURNAMENT. Thunder Rosa looks disappointed in Spanish. Result: Danhausen d. Sammy Guevara by pinfall after DEVOTION DDTHAUSEN to advance to the finals of the B1 Climax Tournament
Promo Package: A montage video package showcases the members of the United Empire: Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb, and Zack Sabre Jr. highlighting their dominance of New Japan Pro Wrestling and around the world. The end of the video shows a picture of AJ Styles’ face with a target over it. #1 Contender Match Winner to Face Kenny Omega for WPW World Title @ BOYS ‘R’ US Macho Man Randy Savage (7-2) w/Allie Katch vs. Brian Danielson (5-3) w/D-Meditation-X This is the first Savage has faced his nemesis Danielson with the full organization of D-Meditation-X in Bryan’s corner: partner Matt Sydal, enforcer Jake Something, and female bodyguard “Legit” Leyla Hirsch. Macho and Danielson prove that they can still tear the house down together in this exciting #1 contenders’ match. Danielson is brutalized in the ring by Macho, suffering falling knees and flying elbows. Danielson begins shouting for D-Meditation-X to intervene on his behalf but it appears that Allie Katch is in the corner, licking herself like a cat and Jake Something and Matt Sydal are transfixed. Leyla Hirsch is excoriating them for not helping after Macho goes for a quick pin following another knee drop to the face, scoring the pin. After the match, Leyla and Allie engage in a cat-fight as the new #1 Contender for Kenny Omega’s WPW World Title, Macho Man Randy Savage shouts “Get your hands off of Elizabeth!” and everyone around them is confused. Result: Randy Savage d. Brian Danielson by pinfall after knee drop to become the #1 contender for the WPW World Championship

WPW #16: BOYS ‘R’ US on High Spots Wrestling Network This pay-per-view event is being dedicated to the memory of the late Scott Hall.In-Ring Segment: The crowd is asked to please recognize a moment of silence for the passing of the legendary Scott Hall and rise for a 10-bell salute. After the bell rings for the sixth time MJF’s theme song begins to blast through the arena and the bell is still sounding. On the way to the ring he takes a microphone and says that he is the real Bad Guy, he’s the real bad “mang,” and he’s going to be the next World Champion. MJF (4-6) w/ Mr. Hughes vs. Warhorse (1-3) MJF demanded this match take place after Warhorse’s victory over WPW World Champion Kenny Omega last week on Power Hour. Early on in the match Warhorse connects with a brutal stomp off of the apron to the outside and tosses MJF back into the ring. Warhorse hooks in the SCORPION DEATHLOCK, the same move that defeated the champ last week, but Mr. Hughes grabs MJF’s arm to drag him to a rope break. The referee isn’t taking any crap this evening and promptly tells Mr. Hughes “Youuuuuu’reeee ouuutttaaa heeeeerrrreee!” and MJF is furious. Warhorse hits his DEATH BY DOUBLESTOMP and he covers him for the pinfall victory. MJF suffers another devastating loss, but Warhorse proved that he may indeed have WPW gold in his future. Result: Warhorse d. MJF by pinfall after DEATH BY DOUBLESTOMP
Leyla Hirsch w/ D-Meditation-X vs. Allie Katch w/ Jay Lethal As “Legit” Leyla Hirsch makes her way to the ring she is flanked by the rest of D-Meditation-X, who are all wearing crystal necklaces and despite carrying burning sage to cleanse the ringside area they are taunting the crowd with crotch chops. Jay Lethal promised Allie that he would not interfere unfairly in her match, but he wanted to be ringside to thwart any shenanigans from D-Meditaion-X. Allie Katch hits a big pump kick on Leyla Hirsch and goes for the pin but Jake Something and Matt Sydal jump up on the apron waving crystals around to distract the referee while Bryan Danielson grabs Allie Katch by the neck and pours soured vegan milk in her mouth. The referee, still having none of it, tells all of D-Meditation-X they have to hit the bricks but the damage has been done. Leyla connects with a crushing MOONSAULT but Allie kicks out at the last possible moment. A frustrated Leyla immediately hooks in the CROSS ARMBREAKER and a defeated Allie is forced to tap out before her arm is ripped from its socket. D-Mediation-X rejoins their female bodyguard in the ring to celebrate their victory in this very first women’s match in The WPW. Result: Leyla Hirsch d. Allie Katch by submission with CROSS ARMBREAKER Will Ospreay (2-3) w/ United Empire vs. A.J. Styles (3-1) The beef has been boiling for weeks and it’s finally time for the showdown: The Phenomenal One vs. The Commonwealth Kingpin. Ospreay has been acting like, as Styles would describe, a “bucktooth p***y” since Styles first called him out last month at FULL LOAD. Stacking up victories against fellow United Empire members Jeff Cobb and Zack Sabre Jr. only fueled the animosity these men have for each other. AJ Styles stays in control early in this match, but frequent trips to the outside by Ospreay to regroup and strategize with his allies allows the United Empire to regain control. AJ Styles hits a Phenomenal DDT on Will Ospreay and covers him right in the middle of the ring. The ref begins counting the pin but before he can count to three the members of United Empire storm the ring and smash AJ Styles in the head and the ref calls for an immediate disqualification. After the match, Styles stumbles away, cursing in Southern and the United Empire stand triumphant in the ring, gloating in their own various accents. This beef is far from cooked. Result: A.J. Styles d. Will Ospreay by DQ after interference by Cobb & ZSJ In-Ring Segment: Pro wrestling legend Mr. Bob Backlund is introduced to present the winner of the next match with the brand new WPW Boys Championship title belt.
B1 Climax Tournament Finals WPW Boys Championship Big Daddy Drew McIntyre (5-2) vs. Danhausen (3-2) w/ Larry Zbyszko Danhausen enters with his manager “Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko and Danhausen appears to curse Mr. Bob Backlund at ringside. Very heelish, very evil. Danhausen has secured several victories with the use of his Jar of Teeth and hopefully Big Daddy Drew has done his homework. Big Daddy Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring and the crowd is chanting “Who’s your daddy? Drew’s Your Daddy!” and also “Daddy” chants, which confuses indy wrestling superstar Effy (a possible contender in the WPW Boys Department) who is ringside for this contest. Danhausen opens things up by licking and biting Big Daddy Drew and infuriating the scotsman. Danhausen shouts to his manager “Larry Legend” to hand him his Jar of Teeth and then he shoves a handful of teeth down McIntyre’s throat. McIntyre recovers and chases Danhausen out of the ring, but Danhausen grabs his Jar of Teeth from Zbyszko and smashes it across the head of Big Daddy Drew, cutting him open and teeth and glass go flying everywhere. Very bloody, very evil. Danhausen rolls Drew back in and slams Drew in the middle of the ring with a chokeslam, the effect worsened by all of the weight of Drew’s massive body being driven into glass and teeth. Danhausen, surprised by his own deviousness, covers the Scottish warrior for the 1-2-3 and becomes the new and first ever WPW Boys Champion. Mr. Bob Backland steps through the ropes and goes to present Danhausen with the new championship title belt. Danhausen reaches into his pocket and pulls out a handful of teeth that he trades to Backlund for the belt. Very nice, very evil, very champion. Result: Danhausen d. McIntyre by pinfall after chokeslam onto glass and teeth to become the first ever WPW Boys Champion
WPW World Championship WPW World Champion Kenny Omega (6-3) vs. Macho Man Randy Savage (8-2) After Leyla Hirsch nearly broke Allie Katch’s arm earlier in the evening it is no surprise that she is in no state to accompany Macho Man to the ring, Macho usually being very protective of Allie, calling her “Liz” and locking her in closets for her own good (though in his defense, he hasn’t done that in a couple months), however curious is the absence of Savage’s tag team partner, the other half of the Lethal Savages, Jay Lethal. Macho Man Randy Savage is in business mode tonight. After the ring introductions, Macho Man knocks Kenny Omega silly with a knee to the back. Before he even knows what hit him, Macho Man Randy Savage comes flying off the top rope with a soul crushing FLYING ELBOW DROP. Omega is flopping around on the mat like a fish. Macho climbs back up to the top rope and comes crashing down with yet another legendary FLYING ELBOW DROP and Macho covers the whimpering loser for the three count. Kenny Omega makes silly faces as Macho Man is handed the WPW World Title belt. Macho climbs the turnbuckle as Pomp and Circumstance blares through the speakers and he holds the belt up high. As he looks around he is heard muttering “Where is she? Where is she? Where is Elizabeth?” Result: Macho Man Randy Savage d. Kenny Omega by pinfall after two FLYING ELBOW DROPS to become the new WPW World Champion

WPW #17: Power Hour on MTV We are live from MTV Studios in NY, NY overlooking Times Square. Tonight’s musical guest is the Dave Matthews Band. The opening theme song of Power Hour is played by the genre transcending group from Charlottesville, VA. Jeff Coffin’s saxophone is the perfect complement to the sex-jazz theme song. In-Ring Promo: Pomp & Circumstance begins and we are introduced to the NEEEEEW WPW World Champion, Macho Man Randy Savage. Randy boasts about being the champion, kicking Omega’s @$$, and beginning the Macho Era in WPW. He says he understands why “Liz” ( Allie Katch) wasn’t there because of her injury from Leyla Hirsch, Allie with her arm in a sling, and for some reason sporting an eye-patch, but he questions where Jay Lethal was instead of being in his corner during the pay-per-view main event. Jay Lethal fumbles for an answer, says that Allie was having some plumbing problems and he was laying some pipe when suddenly Val Venis’s theme song plays. Val Venis and Ricky Starks, the Stroke Daddies, come out wearing their signature towels. Val tells Macho that he happened to be filming a special movie backstage at BOYS ‘R’ US and caught something very interesting on video. Macho wants that videotape to confirm his suspicions about Lethal and Allie, but Val says Macho will have to fight him for it. A main event tag team match is scheduled for the end of the show, but will Macho be able to trust Jay Lethal with this hanging over their heads? Effy vs. Big Daddy Drew McIntyre (5-3) Effy makes his debut in WPW, entering to chants of “Daddy,” but Big Daddy Drew has bigger muscles as well as a bigger following, hearing the “Drew’s Your Daddy” chants fill the arena. Effy opens the contest by slapping and biting Big Daddy Drew but Drew begins to manhandle Effy who loves every minute of it. Big Daddy Drew took the threat of this newcomer too lightly, didn’t do his homework, and gets caught in the DRAG QUEEN SLEEPER, Drew quickly fades and the referee calls for the bell. Effy gives the unconscious Drew a kiss on the cheek and celebrates winning his debut match. Result: Effy d. Drew McIntyre by submission with DRAG QUEEN SLEEPER In-Ring Promo: We are introduced to the new, first-ever WPW Boys Champion Danhausen being accompanied by his manager the “Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko. Danhausen says it is very nice to be the champion, he has a fancy belt, it proves he’s the best boy there is, he deserves all the human money and soon he’ll be able to buy a blimp. His speech is interrupted by Mr. Bob Backlund. Backlund comes out with a microphone and asks Danhausen what he is smoking, screaming that ever since the pay-per-view when Danhausen cursed him, he’s been falling in the toilet ever since. Backlund thinks Danhausen is a weirdo freak and hated having to present him with the title belt and says he should have kept it for himself. Backlund challenges Danhausen but “Larry Legend” intervenes. Zbyszko acknowledges the history he and Backlund have together and asks him to go one more time, if Backlund wants a shot at the WPW Boys Title, he’s going to have to go through the Living Legend first. Danhausen is pleased that he does not have to wrestle tonight and supports this idea. Larry Zbyszko (2-1) w/ WPW Boys Champion Danhausen vs. Mr. Bob Backlund (1-0)
The classic feud between Backlund and Zbyszko is reignited tonight on WPW Power Hour and the momentum of the match shifts back and forth quite evenly. Backlund drops Zbyszko in a devastating backbreaker and covers him for the pin. Danhausen jumps up on the apron wearing his Boys Title belt and waving around his Jar of Teeth, distracting the ref from counting the pin. The referee knows how dangerous that jar can be and ejects Danhausen from ringside. Danhausen shrugs and heads back down the aisle. Backlund sends Zbyszko to the outside and follows him, coming up from behind and Pearl Harbor-ing him with a CROSSFACE CHICKEN WING on the outside. Zbyszko barely makes it to his feet and under the bottom rope before 10 to break the ref’s count. Zbyszko kicks out after a pin following an underhook suplex, but can’t get a shoulder up when pinned following a delayed vertical suplex. Backlund can be heard shouting ridiculously that he’s coming for Danhausen, he’s coming for the Boys Title, and he’s tired of falling in the toilet. Zbyszko heads backstage to find Danhausen eating ice cream and he offers him some of his “delicious frozen dairy treat” and asks him if he’s ever had it before. Result: Bob Backlund d. Larry Zbyszko by pinfall after a delayed vertical suplex
MTV Musical Segment: Dave Matthews Band performs “The Only Thing” from their upcoming, still unnamed studio album. Pre-Taped Promo: Jim Cornette is happy that Twinkletoes Kenny Olivier is no longer the WPW World Champion, but Macho Man is a goofball with a screw loose and presumes he’s on the “CO-caine,” and not to get him started on the Boys Champion Danhausen. Corny says when his new client is revealed it’s going to shake the foundations of the WPW. Lumberjack Match Will Ospreay (2-4) w/ Jeff Cobb & Zack Sabre Jr vs. AJ Styles (4-1) w/ Dr. Death Steve Williams & The Iron Sheik AJ Styles is p****d at the United Empire for getting involved in the match between he and Ospreay at BOYS ‘R’ US, causing a DQ, and Ospreay suggested they settle things in a Lumberjack Match and Styles can bring in any back-up he wishes. AJ Styles says that he reached out to two guys that he would describe as the “opposite of a bucktooth p***y,” Dr. Death Steve Williams and The Iron Sheik. Styles goes for an early pin following two Pele Kicks, but Jeff Cobb storms the ring. Styles sees him coming, punches him in the groin, but Ospreay is able to capitalize on the distraction. Ospreay is threatened with a STYLE’S CLASH, wriggles free and escapes to the outside, unfortunately he walks right into Dr. Death Steve Williams. Jeff Cobb comes from behind and slams AJ Styles with a TOUR OF THE ISLANDS, but Styles kicks out of Ospreay’s pinning attempt. The Iron Sheik enters the ring and puts Ospreay in a Camel Clutch and the force of Sheik’s 10” erection on the back of Ospreay’s neck adds extra pressure. The referee ushers Sheiky from the ring, Styles hits a STYLE’S CLASH and covers The Commonwealth Kingpin for the 1-2-3. Ospreay is whining that it's not fair, there was interference and Shieky must have taken some male enhancement pills before the match. Result: AJ Styles d. Will Ospreay by pinfall after STYLES CLASH
Backstage Promo: D-Meditation-X is backstage. Leader Bryan Danielson, Matt Sydal, enforcer Jake Something, and female bodyguard Leyla Hirsch are sitting in a meditation circle. Danielson congratulates Leyla for her victory over Allie Katch at BOYS ‘R’ US. Danielson says this is the start of great things for D-Meditation-X, he asks Leyla to light a bundle of sage to smudge the backstage area. It begins to spark and crackle, suddenly it explodes, smoke fills the room and it smells absolutely horrendous. Enter Kevin Steen who has been out of action for months. Steen tells them that he replaced their sage with an Exploding Turd Blossom. Steen says that he has been training harder than ever, he’s still ranked in the top 5 in WPW, and he’s challenging Bryan Danielson to a match next week on Power Hour. Danielson accepts and yells at Jake to get that plant out of there. If Lethal Savages Win, Macho Man gets possession of Val Venis’s videotape Lethal Savages (3-0) [WPW World Champion Randy Savage (9-2) & Jay Lethal (5-4)] w/ Allie Katch vs. Stroke Daddies (1-1) [Ricky Starks (2-3) & Val Venis (2-1)]
The Stroke Daddies enter before the commercial break and when we return, Jay Lethal enters solo. After Lethal makes it to the ring, WPW World Champion Macho Man Randy Savage makes his entrance, dragging Allie Katch along with him. Macho clearly doesn’t trust Jay Lethal this evening. Macho Man insists on opening things up with Sticky Ricky Starks. Macho seems to completely ignore his tag team partner for most of this match. Starks tags out to Venis and eventually Macho begrudgingly tags Jay Lethal. Lethal goes for a pin following a Lethal Combination and Macho Man flies across the ring to stop Starks from breaking the pin, but Venis manages to kick out. Lethal hooks Venis in a KOJI CLUTCH, Venis thrashing around wildly, Starks begins to step through the ropes and Macho drops on Starks out of nowhere with his signature double ax handle from the top. Venis fervently taps out. Macho holds up his WPW World Title and the microphone picks up Lethal saying “I won this match. I did.” Macho is shouting “Let’s see the tape! Let’s just see the tape! The tape doesn’t lie! Yeah! Dig it!” Result: Lethal Savages d. Stroke Daddies when Val Venis submit to Lethal’s KOJI CLUTCH
MTV Musical Segment: Macho Man joins Dave Matthews and plays the tambourine during their performance of “Walk Around the Moon” from their upcoming, still unnamed studio album as the broadcast fades out.
