I just noticed my Bundy card is numbered 249 of 250. I guess I just squeaked by! 😲

But someone like me has no way to get that card. Even if it didn’t say LE on it something else. I just wanted that color card I honestly hate it for you. People claim thats what happens with collectibles, but I call BS. This game should be better with that and doesn't have to go down that road. It's really my only gripe with this game and I admit, it's a big one. .... A lot of times these are the stipulations by a particular wrestler. "Yeah, you can make a card, but only do 250 0f them and get me a stack to sign and sell". I mean, you can't just make infinite amounts of something when the wrestler or talent doesn't want it done. Those bootleg games that don't get permission to use anyone's name or likeness can pull that off (until they get caught) but FG does it on the level.

Regarding this, I think you if you list what you might be willing to pay, some folks might be able to part with the color Bundy card. It is all about supply and demand, in my mind. If I am willing to pay for it there is not much that isn't unattainable. At this point I want to say Rage and Akuma are the only Legends/COTG (Prime timeline) that I don't have. I paid a fair price for a lot of them (Early Classics, CPC sets that are OOP, Synergy, Johnny Rocket's Launching Pad, Bust Up, P3, Tyranny, Draconian Sheik, and a few others). I say that all to say that it was valuable to me, so I set a price point that I was willing to pay and paid it.

I would love to even have that option? But right now no one is offering to be up

One of a kind, original, art is one thing but hiking the price up on cards for the game is another. Again IMO

First jealous you have early classics. Second I will pay 50$ for that card or for sheik or an inoki BW

We're gonna go round and round with this again, but I fail to see why Filsinger products should be any different than anything else. Everything has print runs. Things sell out. There's an aftermarket. Comics, cards, video games, all physical media sells out eventually.
I'm sure IF IT'S POSSIBLE the team will make sure a lot of the popular stuff that sells out comes back IN SOME FORM (different from the original so as to not turn off those who DO have the collectible mentality) but again sometimes that's not in their control depending on contracts and agreements.

Things become "collector items" over time naturally, like The Launching Pad and other B/W cards and out of print sets. Now it's being done deliberately to try and boost the secondary market. I've seen many "living card games" try and create a secondary market with hard to get promos and special edition cards and all it does it detour new players when they can't aquire or afford the cards.
I've said it many times and I stand by it, COTG is not ment to be a ccg.
