They’re just incentives. The guys try to go all out for GCON and give people extra reasons to attend. That’s it. I suppose you could give the cards away for free to attendees while charging others who couldn’t make it. That way everybody gets it. Not sure if that helps new players who come along later if all the copies are gone. But it’s a start. Obviously lots of cards go out of print, not just Con exclusives. But I like them. You have another killer COTG card coming at this yers GCON. I won’t say he’s A+ like Omega and Chaos but he’s definitely an A. Morpheus CONFIRMED!An OFFICIAL Morpheus card would be super-cool! An OFFICIAL Morpheus card would be super-cool! Todd C WTIC Note, there is an official Morpheus card - Classics 2079 of the Old Blue ink variety. There was also his manager card from Revolutions 2097, and an "unofficial" Morpheus card in Mike Melesky's wonderful Early Classics. I will say that this card would be the first official COLOR card for Morpheus, and it would be a Kronos incarnation. |

Morpheus is one I've wanted in Kronos for a while. Not convinced Nikolai is the leader the villain team needs.

I'm gonna throw my $.02 in here since I REALLY do like the collectability of Filsinger Games products. I do think there should be things that are limited runs (as was mentioned contractually or as an LE). I also believe there comes a point in which business decisions dictate not making another run on the older editions...
However, I would also say that it would be good in the vein of special individual cards that are intended as LE or giveaways that there is a distinguishing mark/label on the cards to identify first run, second run, etc. to differentiate between them and keep the collectability aspect of cards.

I'm a big fan of maybe releasing LE/out of print cards as digital print at home versions. Basically you get one limited, collectable, official, physical run...and then an unlimited anyone can do it, non-collectable, run.
