Were all of these mis-printed? My color Bundy Level 3 Offense rolls go 1,3,4,2,5,6. Never saw any mention if that was the norm, but I imagine it was.

I honestly hate it for you. People claim thats what happens with collectibles, but I call BS. This game should be better with that and doesn't have to go down that road. It's really my only gripe with this game and I admit, it's a big one. 110% agree! COTG is not a ccg and shouldn't try to be a ccg IMO. One of a kind, original, art is one thing but hiking the price up on cards for the game is another. Again IMO For the life of me, I don't understand the reasoning "well, other card games do it" or "tough s***". I really don't . The reason why I love this game is because it helps keep history alive since no other promotion in the world does it without their ridiculous spin. I don't want this game to turn into "other card games". It's not meant for that. I proposed an easy solution months ago. If you missed any cons, the card will be available one year after the con. We paid what, $13 for the con experience, a printed version and online version. AFter one year, make it available for $13 for either online or print or a bundle price for say, $20 for both online and print A card like Bundy is what $4? We have the initial run of 250 for that price. After that run is ended, sell it for $10. Both scenerios are extremely fair. A promoter that missed out still has that opportunity to get it, albeit a higher price and with Filsinger can easliy cover print cost, etc charging that price.

Things become "collector items" over time naturally, like The Launching Pad and other B/W cards and out of print sets. Now it's being done deliberately to try and boost the secondary market. I've seen many "living card games" try and create a secondary market with hard to get promos and special edition cards and all it does it detour new players when they can't aquire or afford the cards. I've said it many times and I stand by it, COTG is not ment to be a ccg. But, Kevin, it is becoming that way. I mean it just is. The con exclusive cards, specifically the Kronos Omega and the Kronos Chaos Supreme, I think would have a better argument of needing to make widely available after the fact. But LOW, Frogman LeBlanc? Nacho Barrera? Dr. X? At best those cards are nice editions but if you aren’t a completist - does it matter that you don’t have them? Not going to lie, not having LeBlanc would not be something that detoured me from buying the game. Is he much different than George South? I mean enhancement talents are also going to be on the upswing with this. I think part of it is that printing has a cost. They can have an estimate of how many things someone buys but it would be tough to make a run of 500 LeBlanc cards, when they may sit for along time. Just my two cents. I think you have multiple jumping off points. Is the Rocket card really necessary to someone who jumps in at 2125? Is Bust Up? Is Synergy? What about the Draconian Sheik who had three cards after his initial hard to find now card?

and if you're willing to go virtual, it's obtainable by everyone. This is yet another reason I am glad I made the switch to Online many years ago.

They’re just incentives. The guys try to go all out for GCON and give people extra reasons to attend. That’s it.
I suppose you could give the cards away for free to attendees while charging others who couldn’t make it. That way everybody gets it.
Not sure if that helps new players who come along later if all the copies are gone. But it’s a start. Obviously lots of cards go out of print, not just Con exclusives.
But I like them. You have another killer COTG card coming at this yers GCON. I won’t say he’s A+ like Omega and Chaos but he’s definitely an A.

On a recent UT podcast, one of the Legends team (I think it was Chad but I'd not bet the rent money on it) stated rather matter-of-factly that Bundy would eventually be reprinted in response to a listener question. I was said listener.

That's good to hear as Bundy and Savage are the only ones I'm missing that I'm aware of. I play online so I don't need the cards but by buying them, I look at it as my way of helping the company, plus I get a nice little piece of art I can display or show people.

Also on the subject of collecting and such, I personally think the best idea would be to do “alternate art” for the more rare/limited runs and then a standard art run. This way collector’s can collect if they wish and all players will have access later on. Missing out on a certain run of art doesn’t affect game play.
