I always enjoyed these GWF years so much. So many legendary characters in the fed at one time. Brings back a lot of great memories reading about teams like Rush & Turmoil and the Ultimate Fighters (whatever happened to those guys?)
Encubus was super tough back then, no surprise to see him taking down even the mightiest of Gladiators.

YEAR TWO- FEBRUARY-GALACTIC CONTENDERS TOURNAMENT
Hello again fellow promoters:
Hope everyone is doing well. It’s time for some more tournament action and we’ll start with the big one. Wrestlers were ranked based on their cumulative win-loss record for the year. The top 38 wrestlers all received a first round bye and all participants were re-seeded in subsequent rounds so that the highest ranked wrestler left faced the lowest ranked, second highest faced second lowest so on and so forth. Finals: #3 Thantos beat #14 Sly Drury
TITLE SHOTS EARNED: Galactic: Thantos Interplanetary: Sly Drury Television: Paganax Heavy Metal: Hector The Holy Brown Bear
A few quick thoughts from me:
1. Thantos continues his momentum from last month and wins his first tournament in my Fed. This sets up an intriguing father vs son match for the Galactic Championship.
2. While none of the newcomers to my roster earned a title match Harbinger did manage to make it to the quarterfinals and Incredible Badger, Spike and Bounty Hunter all made it to the fourth round. This means that they’ll move up substantially in the rankings and gain an easier draw next month where perhaps one of them will take the final few steps.
3. We do have one newcomer to the title picture though as this is Paganax’s first time making the final four. It was also nice to FINALLY see Wolf make a deep run too. Massif has shown great improvement as well; he’s already equaled his entire win total from Year One!
As always thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to view, like and comment on my Fed. Tag Team, Women’s and Cruiserweight tournament results coming soon. Until then I hope everyone has a good day.😀

Great structure and some very unique results.
Rush & Turmoil don’t get the proper credit they deserve in history. You could argue that they are a top 3 all-time Gladiator tag team.,
The older guys have a lot of nostalgia around them keeping them hoisted high, but I bet if you played out the matches Rush & Turmoil would come out on top over Brute/Massacre, Thunder/Overkill and Malice/Overkill more often than not. Especially w Turmoil’s Add 1 moves.

Especially w Turmoil’s Add 1 moves. Thank you for the kind words. Yeah, Rush & Turmoil have been pretty good for me so far. Going through my records I discovered that they've only had one match with Brute & Massacre which the original Gladiators won. However, I imagine if I ran that match 10 times Rush & Turmoil would probably win at least half of them.

Anaxis almost went all the way with a big upset. It is crazy she got DQd and against a Gladiator. She should file a complaint. She lost to the one who won it all.

YEAR TWO-FEBRUARY-WOMEN’S TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT:
Here we go with the final tournament of the month. Teams were ranked based on their overall win-loss record for the year. The top team, Candy Apple & Cheri Cola, received a first round bye. Apple & Cola are also the current champions.
Let’s get down to action:
First Round: #15 Guillotina & Nova beat #2 Phantasy & Mother Superior #14 Contessa & Deadliest Of The Species beat #3 Bomb Chelle & Latasha #13 Kymerra & Lioness beat #4 Raven Stark & Supernova #12 Bobbi Jo Boxer & Taichi beat #5 Goddess Galene & Hot Pink #11 Amazonia & She Devil beat #6 Shann-Ra & Sultana #7 Anaxis & La Belleza beat #10 Embargo & Rarity #8 Rotunda & Lamiax beat #9 Strafe & Thrash
Quarterfinals: #1 Candy Apple & Cheri Cola beat #15 Guillotina & Nova #14 Contessa & Deadliest Of The Species beat #7 Anaxis & La Belleza #8 Rotunda & Lamiax vs #13 Kymerra & Lioness ended in a Double DQ (Both teams are eliminated) #11 Amazonia & She Devil beat #12 Bobbi Jo Boxer & Taichi
As a result of the Double DQ in the previous round the highest ranked team left, Candy Apple & Cheri Cola, will receive a bye in the next round. A lucky break for those two.
Semifinals: #1 Candy Apple & Cheri Cola received a bye #14 Contessa & Deadliest Of Species beat #11 Amazonia & She Devil
Finals: #14 Contessa & Deadliest Of The Species beat #1 Candy Apple & Cheri Cola
A few quick thoughts from me:
1. Despite receiving TWO byes in the tournament Apple Cola still couldn’t pull it out in the end which has to be a bit embarrassing for them. Congrats to Contessa & Deadliest though for emerging victorious.
2. A crazy first round with lots of the lower seeds winning. However, these rankings were based on only one tournament and as I found in the first year of my Fed there's some top-notch talent that can be slow starters. It will likely be a few months before we separate the true contenders from the pretenders.
With those results in the book we now have all of our new number one contenders which means it's time for the monthly Supercard. I rolled it out last Tuesday and I'll try to get the results posted either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Until next time I hope everyone has a good day.🙂
