Promoter’s commentary For months now, I haven’t been able to access proboards from work, and as a result, I haven’t been playing my fed. But, a certain VP in charge of no-one-having-any-fun is gone, and his replacement removed the blocks. So The Association is back, baby!
I picked up right where I left off, and realize now how much I missed it.
And hey, new tag team champs! I was surprised by how well the duo of Mountie and Gang clicked, but my dice have always loved The Mountie, so maybe I shouldn’t be. In a few weeks, we’ll play out the rematch, and see if this was just a lucky fluke or not.
Hennig vs. Kowalski is exactly the finale I was hoping for for the heavyweight tournament. I have big plans for both, regardless of who wins.
Oh, BTW D’Lo vs. The Destroyer was a blast to play. If you haven’t played a match between these two, I recommend it.

[glow=orange,2,300]Injury Update[/glow] ”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka continues to recover from the injury he suffered at the hands of John Pesek. He is expected to return at the Super Show at the Super-Pit.
Virgil, despite the beating he took from Terry Gordyhas been cleared to wrestle this week. He’ll be in action in Arlington against Bob Armstrong.
[glow=blue,2,300]Breaking News[/glow]
Noting his dissatisfaction with Association officiating in his second round tournament loss to Iron Sheik, Bruiser Brody has requested and been granted a release from his Association contract. We at Association Headquarters wish Mr. Brody luck in his future endeavors.
Association spokesman Johnny Fairplay has announced that the main event rematch between”Exotic” Adrian Street and ”Dr. Death” Steve Williams will take place within the confines of a steel cage. The first meeting between these two men was marred by outside interference, and as Fairplay explained, the Association board felt that a cage match was the only way to get a one-on-one matchup between these two.
[glow=purple,2,300]Power 10[/glow] 1)The One Man Gang (-) In teaming with The Mountie to defeat The Mega-Bucks and capture the Tag-Team Championship, OMG also captured the number one spot in the Power 10. Next on the agenda: a one-on-one match with Ted DiBiase. 2) Killer Kowalski (2,-) All that stands between Killer Kowalski and becoming the first Association Heavyweight Champion is two weeks and Curt Hennig. 3) Curt Hennig (4,+1) Curt Hennig busted out a death defying aerial attack to get past the Iron Sheik, will his superior agility be enough to upset the seemingly unstoppable Killer Kowalski? 4)The Mountie(8,+4) The Mountie got a measure of revenge for his friend and regular partner Brad Armstrong, who was injured at the hands of the Mega-Bucks. Now, the newly crowned Tag Team champion has to prepare for a one-on-one match with Andre the Giant in less then 2 weeks! 5)The Mega-Bucks (1,-4) A rough week for Ted DiBiase and company. First Virgil gets beat like a drum, and then DiBiase and Andre lose the Tag Team Championship to The Mountie and One Man Gang. Now they’re looking to bounce back and get their belts back. 6) Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy (-) You know who isn’t happy that Terry Gordy’s back from his injury? “Exotic” Adrian Street, who can only avoid a showdown with his former partner for so long. Know who is happy about it? Virgil’s chiropractor, who no doubt made a pretty penny trying to undo the damage Bam Bam did to the hapless bodyguard. 7)Brian Kendrick & Paul London(9,+2) London and Kendrick continue to get the better of the Mongols. This week it was Kendrick besting Geeto. One can only wonder how long the duo’s speed will beat the big Croatians’ power. 8) Masked Superstar (-) Masked Superstar said his being pinned by Ray Stevens two weeks ago was a fluke, and then he went out and proved it. With the records even between these two stars, watch for sparks to fly when they met in a six-man match this week. 9)Bob Orton Sr.(5,-4) Cowboy Bob (the elder) continues to impress with his toughness. Though he came up short against Killer Kowalski, Orton did what no one else has: he made Kowalski look human. Now Orton can turn his full attention to RVD. 10)The Love Brothers (-) The Hateful Hippies have gotten the better of The James Gang two weeks in a row now, thanks to the dirty tricks of their manager, Big Daddy Dink.

Wrestling Championship Association presented by The Guilty Party Card 1.6 02/08 Texas Hall, Arlington Texas
Texas Hall, home to the University of Texas-Arlington Mavericks, birthplace of the Association, and, in the eyes of many, the scene of the crime; where “Exotic” Adrian Street betrayed Terry Gordy and gave the Association Tag Team Championship to the Mega-Bucks. Tonight, Street returned to the scene of the crime, to headline a night full of upsets, surprises, and the kind of action only the Association can provide!
Virgil defeated Bob Armstrong via pinfall Bob Armstrong was looking to get some payback for his son, Brad, who was injured a few weeks ago by Ted DiBiase and his associates, including Virgil. Virgil however had other ideas as the bodyguard was looking for a measure of redemption after being manhandled by Terry Gordy last week. Virgil got the victory after a pair of back to back piledrivers.
Bob Orton Sr. defeated Al Snow via pinfall Al Snow started out strong, nearly getting the win after a picture perfect moonsault. Cowboy Bob though battled back, showing the toughness that has become his trademark, and secured the victory with his patented piledriver.
The Destroyer defeated D’Lo Brown via submission These two brought the house down last week, and they did so again in Texas Hall. After ten minutes of solid back and forth action, The Destroyer showed why he’s both intelligent and sensational, locking in a single leg Boston crab in the middle of the ring. D’Lo struggled valiantly, but in the end was forced to submit.
Tag team match BG James & Paul London defeated Bepo Mongol & Reginald Love (with Big Daddy Dink) via pinfall From the get go, it was clear that Bepo and Reginald weren’t going to gel as a duo, hamstrung by apparent communication issues. For a while, it seemed as though it wouldn’t matter, as Bepo dominated both James and London with his power advantage. Eventually though, BG and Paul started to click as a team, and they used superior tag team tactics to overcome the big Croatian, who was pinned by Paul London. After the match, Bepo yelled at Reginald in a Slavic language and shoved Bog Daddy Dink to the ground in frustration.
Iron Sheik defeated Rob Van Dam via disqualification This one fell apart fast. As RVD and Iron Sheik were starting to feel each other out, RVD’s rival Bob Orton Sr. came down to the ring. Orton grabbed the timekeeper’s chair, folded it up, and tossed it into the ring. The Iron Sheik grabbed the chair, only to have Van Dam kick it into his face with a Van Daminator! The referee had no choice but to DQ RVD, but by that point he was already brawling up the aisle with Bob Orton Sr.
Six-man tag team match Curt Hennig, Ray Stevens, & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan defeated Killer Kowalski, Masked Superstar, and Justin Credible via pinfall Next week, at the Super Show at the Super-Pit, Curt Hennig and Killer Kowalski will wrestle for the WCA Heavyweight Championship! This match was supposed to offer a preview of that conflict, but Killer Kowalski had other plans. Perhaps not wanting to give away any of his strategy, Kowalski refused to participate, essentially leaving Masked Superstar and Justin Credible in a handicap match! Superstar and Credible fought hard, but in the end, the numbers were to much for them to over come and Credible was pinned after a flying spear from Duggan.
Ted DiBiase defeated One Man Gang via submission Last week, One Man Gang was The Mountie’s surprise partner, and the unlikely duo captured the WCA Tag Team Championship from DiBiase and his employee Andre the Giant. This week, DiBiase clearly had a plan for dealing with the Gang. Before the bell rang, DiBiase insisted that referee Bill Alfonso pat down OMG, to check for concealed weapons. While Alfonso did so, and had OMG distracted, Virgil slipped DiBiase a steel chair, which DiBiase promptly used to split the Gang’s skull! Some how, Alfonso missed this and started the match. DiBiase immediately locked the Million Dollar sleeper on the injured OMG. Gang fought to the ropes, only to be pushed off of them by Virgil! Between the sleeper and the chair shot, OMG faded fast, and Alfonso quickly called for the bell, awarding victory to DiBiase. DiBiase and company weren’t done yet though, as Andre the Giant came down to the ring. DiBiase wedged the folded steel chair around Gang’s ankle, and ordered DiBiase to leap on it from the turnbuckle, the same move that put Brad Armstrong on the shelf! Before the massive Frenchman could comply, The Mountie, Bob Armstrong, and Terry Gordy ran out to drive off The Mega-Bucks. During their hasty retreat, Virgil grabbed OMG’s Tag Team Championship belt, and presented it to DiBiase.
Main Event Cage Match ”Exotic” Adrian Street defeated ”Dr.Death” Steve Williams by escaping the cage After the first meeting between these two ended in a wild ten man brawl, Association management elected to have the rematch inside the confines of a steel cage. Early on, it seemed a though the setting benefited Dr Death, who used his power and the unforgiving steel to brutalize Street. After a back drop driver that brought the crowd to their feet, Williams seemed to have the match in hand, but a poor decision by Dr. Death to attempt a move off the top rope changed the tide of the match. From there, Street took over. Focusing on Williams’ leg, Street repeatedly used his London Bridge leg lock to immobilize Dr. Death. Williams struggled bravely to get back to his feet, but couldn’t stop the flamboyant one from climbing out of the cage for the victory! The calibration was short lived though as, moments after his feet touched the arena floor, Street got a rude surprise as his former tag team partner Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy emerged from under the ring, and delivered a clothesline to Street that nearly decapitated the treacherous brit! The two brawled at ringside, and had to be separated by Association officials as a wild night in Arlington came to a close.
* Next week, the biggest show in the Association’s history will happen at the Super-Pit in Denton Texas! Though Killer Kowalski avoided Curt Hennig this week, there’ll be no avoiding him next week when the two battle in the main event to crown the first ever WCA Heavyweight Champion! * They were partners this week, next week they’ll be opponents! The Love Brothers, The Mongols, The James Gang, and Paul London & Brian Kendrick will meet in a four corner tag team match! * After weeks of conflict and tonight’s wild brawl, Rob Van Dam and Bob Orton Sr. will throw down next week! * Also signed for The Super Show at the Super-Pit, the first ever one-on-one match up between Andre the Giant and The Mountie! Andre has been running from the Mountie and his ten thousand volt equalizer since the first night of the Association, but the running ends next week!

Promoter’s commentary Just a dominant night for the heels. Even Virgil was dominant.
I used GMC’s announcer card for two matches, both of them ended in less then 5 dice rolls. I know he’s supposed to add some excitement, but this is bit much.
Two things that continue to surprise me is the dominance of London and Kendrick over the Mongols and the impressive run of “Exotic” Adrian Street. If Street continues to impress like he has, he maybe in line for a shot at whoever ends up the Heavyweight champ. As for Londrick, I have another team coming in to feud with them.

[glow=orange,2,300]Injury Update[/glow] ”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka has been cleared to return from his ankle injury! He will return to action this week against the man who injured him, John Pesek! Pesek will be making his in ring Association debut, after his still unexplained and seemingly unprovoked attack on Snuka.
[glow=blue,2,300]Breaking News[/glow] The tag team ranks are getting stronger as Association management representative Johnny Fairplay has announced that he has signed another top flight tag team to Association contracts in The Heavenly Bodies! The duo of Stan Lane and Tom Prichard will debut in two weeks!
Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy will finally get his hands on ”Exotic” Adrian Street at The Super Show at the Super-Pit, but not the way he wants. Instead of a one-on-one match up, the two will be on opposite sides of a six man tag team match. Gordy will be joined by ”Dr. Death” Steve Williams and Bob Armstrong while Street will team with Ted DiBiase and King Kong Bundy
Young Association fans will soon be able to recreate all the action of their favorite matches at home! The Association has announced an exclusive licensing agreement with Cosgrove Toys to produce a line of action figures based on Association stars. More details in coming weeks.
[glow=purple,2,300]Power 10[/glow] 1)Curt Hennig (3,+2) The second generation superstar who will face Killer Kowalski this coming week for the WCA Heavyweight Championship picked up a big win this week in a six man tag team match that included his rival. Will that win give him the momentum he needs to become the first Heavyweight champion? 2) Killer Kowalski (2,-) Kowalski refused to participate in the six man tag team match this week, leaving Masked Superstar and Justin Credible to fend for themselves. Was this cunning strategy or an act of cowardice? We’ll find out this week at the Super Show at the Super-Pit! 3) The Mountie (4,+1) The Mountie was able o save his championship partner from The Mega-Bucks attempt to injure him. This week, at long last, he’ll face Andre the Giant one-on-one! 4)The Mega-Bucks(5,+1) After a rough week last week, the former tag team champs came back strong. DiBiase defeated One Man Gang (though it was essentially a 3-on-1 handicapped match when you factor in Virgil and the poor officiating by Bill Alfonso), and Virgil scored an impressive win over Bob Armstrong. Next it’s up to Andre the Giant to keep it going when he takes on The Mountie. 5)One Man Gang (1,-4) OMG had a rough week. He was beaten by Ted DiBiase and then beaten down by the Mega-Bucks. To add insult to injury, Virgil stole One Man Gang’s WCA Tag Team Championship belt. OMG will look for a measure of revenge this coming week when he takes on the thief at the Super Show at the Super-Pit. 6) Brian Kendrick & Paul London (7,+1) Kendrick and London have bested the Mongols week in and week out. This coming week, they’ll face not only the Mongols, but The James Gang and The Love Brothers in a four corner tag team match. 7)Bob Orton Sr.(9,+2) Cowboy Bob (the Elder) has proven that he’s tough as a Brahma bull and twice as mean. Now, he and RVD are going to collide at the Super Show at the Super-Pit. 8) Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy (6,-2) Gordy dropped this week due to inactivity, but still managed to make an impact, showing up to ruin “Exotic” Adrian Street’s victory celebration. The two will finally meet in the ring as part of a big six man tag team match. 9)”Exotic” Adrian Street(-) Street once again got the better of “Dr. Death” Steve Williams in a thrilling cage match main event, but he then took a beating at the hands of his former tag team partner Gordy. Sparks will fly when the two face off in Denton. 10)”Hacksaw” Jim Duggan (-) “Hacksaw” finally got the better of his rival, Justin Credible, this week. Next on the agenda is the first ever one-on-one match up between these two brawlers.

Wrestling Championship Association presented by The Guilty Party The Super Card at the Super-Pit Card 1.7 02/14 The Super-Pit, Denton Texas
The Super-Pit, officially called the Coliseum at the University of North Texas, is usually home to the defending Sun Belt Conference champion UNT Mean Green. Tonight, it was home to the biggest show in the brief history of the Association. Not only did this night feature the first one-on-one match between Andre the Giant and The Mountie, and the first in ring confrontation between former partners “Exotic” Adrian Street and Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy, but it also featured the crowning of the Associations first Heavyweight Champion!
Virgil defeated One Man Gang via pinfall Ted DiBiase’s bodyguard survived an early onslaught to pick up his second win impressive win in as many weeks. Gang looked to have the match well in hand, but Virgil showed true grit, survived the tag team champs initial dominance, and then scored the upset victory after a picture perfect dropkick.
Rob Van Dam defeated Bob Orton Sr. via pinfall This was an exciting matchup that saw control switch hands often. Both wrestlers scored big with high impact offense, with RVD connecting with Rolling Thunder early, and then having to survive Cowboy Bob (the elder)’s famed and rightly feared piledriver. In the end, Orton made a mental error in going to the top rope, only to miss a high crossbody attempt. RVD quickly capitalized and connected with the five-star frog splash for the win.
Four Corners Tag team match The Love Brothers (with Big Daddy Dink) defeated The James Gang and Brian Kendrick & Paul London and The Mongols via pinfall Going into this match, where anyone from any team could be tagged in by anyone from any team, that Big Daddy Dink had a simple strategy; one of the Love Brothers would always be in the match. Though this meant that his men couldn’t lose the match with out being a factor, it also had the effect of essentially turning the match into a 6 on 2 handicap match. Hartford Love took a beating because of this strategy, almost being pinned after Bryan Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2. But thanks to the wily Big Daddy Dink, Hartford survived, and when Reginald came in, he was fresh and able to gain a quick upper hand on BG James of the James Gang, and get the victory with a double slam.
”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka defeated John Pesek via pinfall Weeks ago, Pesek attacked Snuka after a match, seemingly with out provocation or reason. After weeks spent recuperating from the injury Pesek inflicted, Superfly was back and looking for revenge. Early on, Pesek tried to use his mat based, chain wrestling to keep the high flying Fijian grounded, but Snuka would not be denied. In the end he connected with a picture perfect Superfly Leap to get the win and a measure of revenge.
“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan defeated Justin Credible via disqualification This match was kinda like life, short and brutal. It quickly spilled out of the ring, where Justin Credible used the timekeeper’s table as weapon, forcing the disqualification. Though Duggan was victorious, you can bet he was far from satisfied.
Six Man Tag Team Match ”Dr. Death” Steve Williams, Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy, & Bob Armstrong defeated Ted DiBiase, “Exotic” Adrian Street, & King Kong Bundy via pinfall The fight everyone wanted to see here was Gordy and his treacherous former partner Adrian Street. Street, for obvious reasons wanted no part of that, and refused to tag intp the match when Gordy was in the ring for the opposing team. DiBiase and Bundy spent a long portion of the match working over Dr. Death, who was still a little banged up from last week’s cage match against Street. With Williams seemingly on his way to another lose, the cocky Street was finally willing to tag in. Williams then quickly turned the tide, and made the hot tag to Gordy. Bam-Bam tore Street apart, connecting with two big powerbombs! Street managed to kick out of the first, but the second was too much, and with Armstrong and Williams keeping DiBiase and Bundy from making the save, the three count was academic.
Andre the Giant defeated The Mountie via pinfall The colossal Frenchman jumped the popular Canadian before ring announcer ary Michael Cappeta finished the introductions. He used his massive power advantage to manhandle the Mountie, softening him up with repeated body slams and then finishing him off quickly with a big splash. This quick, non-competitive match ended a rough night for the tag team champions, who will defend their titles in two weeks against the former champions, The Mega-Bucks.
The Destroyer & Masked Superstar vs D’Lo Brown & Ray Stevens ended in a double disqualification The heated rivalry between The Masked Superstar and Ray Stevens, and the growning feud between The Destroyer and D’Lo Brown went to a new level in this match. Neither team could gain much of an advantage as both sides traded offensive manuvers and made frequent tags. This thriller spilled out of the ring, and the referee disqualified both teams as this quickly turned into an uncontrollable brawl. With D’Lo and The Destroyer fighting to the back, Stevens and Masked Superstar battled in and around the ring. Suddenly, the Love Brothers, with Big Daddy Dink in tow, stormed the ring and assisted Masked Superstar in beating down Stevens. Association officials came to the ring to break up the beat down, but the damage was done. The hateful hippies and the masked mauler left with arms held high and a proud Big Daddy Dink looking on.
Main Event Wrestling Championship Association Heavyweight Championship Tournament Finals Killer Kowalski defeated Curt Hennig by pinfall This was a match that fans in Texas will be talking about for ages. In the tournament to crown the first Association Heavyweight Champion, no one has looked more impressive then Killer Kowalski. He breezed through the early rounds, and looked unstoppable. Curt Hennig had a tougher road to the finals, but impressed with his athleticism and determination. This match was an instant classic. Kowalski controlled the early goings with his superior power and brawling. While it looked like he would cruise to victory at first, Hennig, with the whole of the Super-Pit behind him, battled back. Hennig had Kowalski in danger after connecting with The Ax for a near fall! Then, Hennig seemed to have victory within his grasp when he connected with a picture perfect Hennig-Plex! But, Kowalski reached down deep and found the means to kick out. The action spilled out of the ring, and took a violent turn. Kowalski slammed Hennig on the concrete floor. A clearly hurting Curt managed to climb back into the ring, but walked right into the dreaded Kowalski claw! It was too much for Hennig who ended up on his back in the middle of the ring, and the referee counted three. Our fist Association Heavyweight champion is Killer Kowalski! After the match, now wearing his championship belt, surprised the Denton crowd by offering a handshake to the valiant Hennig. Hennig was hesitant to take Kowalski’s hand, but with the crowd cheering did so… Only to be blind sided by a vicious clothesline! Kowalski proceeded to put the boots to Hennig, causing Jimmy Snuka to run out to make the save. Kowalski vacated the ring, allowing Snuka to attend to the fallen Hennig. Kowalski left the ring, being pelted with garbage and half drunk sodas, and was met half way up the aisle by two massive men, dressed all in black and wearing masks. The trio left together, Kowalski holding the belt high in victory!
* What an incredible night of Association action! Killer Kowalski becomes the first Association Heavyweight champion, but questions abound. Who were those masked men? Will Hennig be able to recover in time to challenge Kowalski to a rematch? Will Association management punish Kowalski for his actions? Only time will tell. * Now that Masked Superstar has allied himself with Big Daddy Dink and the Love Brothers, his rivalry with Ray Stevens has taken an unexpected turn. They’ll clash again next week when the Association makes it’s debut in Oklahoma! * Speaking of debuts, newly signed tag team specialists The Heavenly Bodies will make their debut this coming week.

This fed is great, I like the Mega-Bucks combo. I wanted to do that team in my fed, but only after Andre had a nice run as a face.
Looks like Kowalski and his faction are a "deadly" force.

Promoter’s commentary Thanks for the feedback, gorillasrus. This was one of the most entertaining cards I’ve played in a while. I was pleased with everything, except the squash match nature of Andre vs. The Mountie. After starting strong, that feud is pretty much out of gas. Normally, I hate double DQ or double count out results, but in the Stevens & Brown vs. Destroyer and Masked Superstar match, it actually gave me a great opportunity to introduce the alliance between Superstar and Humperdink & the Love Brothers. I’ll be transitioning Ray Stevens to a full time tag team (his partner will debut in the coming weeks) and the Love Brothers are slated to be that team’s first rivalry. I think Kowalski is going to be a strong champion, particularly with (as you may have guessed) Executioner #2 and #3 backing him up. But Hennig and Snuka are both positioned nicely as challengers, should be a fun run. Oh, and by the way, what the hell, Virgil!?!?! For the last couple of weeks, he’s been on fire.

Brad Armstrong is expected to be able to return to action in 4 to 6 more weeks.
[glow=blue,2,300]Breaking News[/glow] Fans won’t have to wait long the next showdown between Curt Hennig and Heavyweight Champion Killer Kowalski! The two will be on opposite sides of the ring next week when the association debuts in Oklahoma! Hennig will team with ”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, while Kowalski with be partnered with John Pesek. Fans won’t want to miss the action at the Percefull Fieldhouse in Alva!
One Man Gang and The Mountie, the reigning Association Tag Team, will be looking to gain a measure of redemption this coming week. They’ll be in action in Alva, in a tune up match before their first title defense. Their opponents will be the Mega-Bucks business associates, Virgil and ”Exotic” Adrian Street.
[glow=purple,2,300]Power Rankings[/glow] 1)Killer Kowalski (2,+1) Our new and reigning Heavyweight Champion showed real toughness in winning the title, and showed his despicable mean streak in attacking Curt Hennig after the match. With his mysterious new associates, will anyone be able to dethrone the champ? 2) The Mega-Bucks (4,+2) Andre dominated The Mountie, giving he and his employer Ted DiBiase vital momentum heading into their Tag Team Championship rematch in two weeks. 3) Curt Hennig (1,-2) Almost, but not quite good enough. That was the story for Curt Hennig at the Super-Pit. Hennig will get a chance to get a measure of revenge at the Percefull Fieldhouse, and somewhere down the road is sure to get another shot at the title. 4)Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy(8,+4) Gordy finally got his hands on Adrian Street at the Super-Pit, but you can tell Gordy’s not satisfied yet. Up next for Gordy, Ted DiBiase. 5)”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka (-) Snuka returned from his injury, and didn’t look like he missed a beat. He got a measure of revenge against John Pesek, but you can be sure these two aren’t finished yet. 6) The Love Brothers (-) The Love Brothers showed that they are tougher then a two dollar steak in beating three other tag teams at the Super-Pit, and then made a new enemy in Ray Stevens. 7) Rob Van Dam (-) RVD thrilled the crowd in Denton with his victory over Bob Orton Sr. Despite the victory, Van Dam has to know that Cowboy Bob (the Elder) isn’t through with him yet. 8) Brian Kendrick & Paul London (6,-1) Kendrick and London looked good in the tag team four corners match, despite not factoring into the decision. The duo will face off against the debuting Heavenly Bodies in two weeks. 9)Virgil(-) Three weeks ago, Ted DiBiase’s bodyguard was carted out of the arena in an ambulance after being powerbombed into oblivion by Terry Gordy. Since then, Virgil has scored upset victories over Bob Armstrong and One Man Gang. Up next, he and “Exotic” Adrian Street have a date with the tag team champs. 10)One Man Gang (5,-5) Maybe it’s lingering effects from the beating he took at the Mega-Bucks’ hands last week, but Gang faded down the stretch against Virgil. Now, he and The Mountie will need a big win against Virgil and Street if they’re going to have any momentum heading into their first title defense.

Wrestling Championship Association presented by The Guilty Party Card 1.8 02/22, The Percefull Fieldhouse Alva, Oklahoma
The Association made it’s debut in Oklahoma, with a card featuring several big debuts as well.
The Heavenly Bodies defeated Larry Sharpe & The 5th Beatle via pinfall Association management representative Johnny Fairplay came out to personally introduce the newest members of the Association, “Sweet” Stan Lane and “The Doctor of Love” Tom Pritchard. The duo took on veteran journeyman Larry Sharpe and his mysterious masked partner, The 5th Beatle. All of the offense for the unheralded duo consisted of a single weak punch to the face thrown by Beatle, which Sweet Stan easily shook off before the Heavenly Bodies took over and proceeded to squash their overmatched opponents. The end came when Prichard used a pair of brass knuckles to knock Beatle out. Referee David Garcia should have seen this illegal move, but was distracted by Fairplay at ring side, who had stayed to root on his free agent signings.
Al Snow defeated Iron Sheik via pinfall Al Snow, who’s extremely popular with the fans, especially the younger Association fans, always thrills the crowds with his unorthodox offense. Tonight, the Snowman found the win column using repeated headbutts to best the highly touted Persian grappler. After the lose, a visibly upset Iron Sheik kicked the ring ropes and complained to the referee of a fast count.
”Dr. Death” Steve Williams defeated King Kong Bundy via pinfall Bundy tried to use his massive size to gain the advantage, but he was clearly unprepared for the power of Dr. Death! Williams dominated Bundy almost from the get go, and then thrilled and stunned the fans in attendance by hoisting Bundy up and slamming him with an awe-inspiring Oklahoma Stampede!
Rob Van Dam defeated Justin Credible via disqualification This was an intense back and forth match up. Van Dam repeatedly had Credible in trouble, but just couldn’t put his opponent away. Credible turned the tide, and nailed Van Dam with his Kendo Stick, but Van Dam kicked out. A frustrated Credible used his weapon again, this time the referee saw it, and Van Dam picked up the disqualification victory. Credible went to continue his assault with the kendo stick, but his long time rival “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan made the save, chasing Credible off with his trusty 2X4.
Non-title match WCA Tag Team Champions The Mountie & One Man Gang defeated Virgil & “Exotic” Adrian Street via pinfall Since shocking the Association by defeating The Mega-Bucks for the Tag Team titles, OMG and the Mountie have had a tough go of it. OMG got beat down by DiBiase and his cohorts, even having his championship belt stolen and suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Virgil; while The Mountie got demolished by Andre the Giant one-on-one last week. They needed a big win here, and they got it. It looked for a time like they wouldn’t though, as Street and Virgil put a beating on the Mountie. The crazed Canuck showed his toughness though, battling back and making the hot tag to Gang. One Man Gang then took apart Virgil and Street, and got a measure of revenge when he pinned Virgil after the 747 splash!
Masked Superstar (with Big Daddy Dink) defeated Ray Stevens via pinfall Stevens started out hot, taking it to Superstar, and looking like he was going to win this one quick. That’s when Masked Superstar’s new alliance with Big Daddy Dink immediately bore fruit. With Dink distracting referee John Bryan, The Love Brothers snuck into the ring and hit Stevens with a devastating double slam! From there, Masked Superstar took over. Though Stevens was able to escape the dreaded Cobra Hold, he wasn’t able to escape the spinning neckbreaker. After the match, a livid Stevens took the house microphone, and challenged the Love Brothers for a match next week; a challenge Hartford Love seemed eager to except.
Bob Orton Sr. defeated ”Hacksaw” Jim Duggan via pinfall Cowboy Bob (the elder) made short work of Hacksaw here, who never really got going. Orton used his much and rightly feared piledriver to get the win. After the match, Justin Credible hit the ring and started laying into Duggan with his Singapore Cane. With Orton watching, Credible seemed set to do some real damage, when RVD ran out with a steel chair to make the save!
Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy defeated Ted DiBiase via pinfall This was a wild one. DiBiase brought his massive tag team partner, Andre the Giant to ringside, to protect “his” Tag Team Championship belt (actually One Man Gang’s). After a few moments, Gang hit the ringside area and brawled with Andre, trying to get his belt back. The two colossuses battled through the crowd and out of the arena, while Virgil ran out and grabbed the gold which had been dropped, running off with it for his boss once again. Meanwhile, in the ring, all of this distraction proved too much for DiBiase, who quickly fell prey to the power of Terry Gordy, who put DiBiase away with the piledriver.
Main Event Curt Hennig & “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka defeated Killer Kowalski & John Pesek via disqualification In case no one got the message two weeks ago when he hung Masked Superstar and Justin Credible out to dry, the Association Heavyweight Champion Killer Kowalski does not play well with others. This week, Pesek found himself in a virtual handicap match against the dangerous duo of Snuka and Hennig. Kowalski refused to tag in, even when Pesek was on offense. Eventually, Hennig and Snuka took over with superior (or at least existent) teamwork. Hennig seemed to have the match won, and was about to go for the Hennig-plex, when Kowalski signaled to the back. He two masked men dressed all in black that he had left The Super Show at the Super-Pit with ran to the ring and immediately attacked Snuka and Hennig. Kowalski joined in, and it was a brutal 3 on 2 beatdown. After tossing Snuka and Hennig from the ring, Kowalski took the house mic and introduced the Association to his associates, Executioners #2 and #3. Kowalski made it clear that if Hennig or Snuka want to try and take the Heavyweight title from Kowalski, they’ll have to go through the Executioners first!
* The Executioners are here! Kowalski’s massive muscle will make their official in ring debut next week when the gargantuan stud, Executioner #2 takes on the luckless masked journeyman, the 5th Beatle. * After a successful debut this week, The Heavenly Bodies have a much stiffer test in store next week, when they face the highflying duo of Brian Kendrick and Paul London. * Hot rivalries with continue to burn next week, when D’Lo Brown and the Destroyer go one-on-one. Also, after what happened this week, Rob Van Dam and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan will team up to battle Bob Orton Sr. and Justin Credible. * And it all leads up to the huge main event! A rematch for the WCA Tag Team Championship, The Mountie and One Man Gang defend the gold against The Mega-Bucks! Live, at Greyhound Arena in Portales New Mexico! Be There!
