Promoter’s commentary
You maybe asking yourself: “Who is the 5th Beatle?” The 5th Beatle was an awful masked persona I created for myself way, way back when in my backyard days. In the Association, however, the part of the Beatle is being played by Bobby Hennan. That’s right, I’m using Bobby Hennan full-time as wrestler.
Things I was pleased with this week: An impressive debut for the Heavenly Bodies (granted, I gave them a soft landing in terms of their opponents)… The feud between Ray Stevens and Big Daddy Dink’s crew continues to intensify, next week, watch for Stevens’ tag team partner to show up (it’s not who you’re expecting)… Al Snow did very well, watch for him and Iron Sheik to feud for a while around the bottom of the card while the seeds for Snow’s big program are laid…
Things I was less then pleased with this week: The dice have really turned against the Mountie, I do not love his and Gang’s chances next week. If that happens, expect to see Mountie dropped way down to the bottom of the card… Two DQ results, nothing much I can do about that, though Credible (and his DQ finisher) may not stick around once his feud with Duggan finally ends… Speaking of Duggan, Cowboy Bob basically squashed him. I want Duggan to do well, but he just isn’t putting it together.

[glow=orange,2,300]Injury Update[/glow] Curt Hennig’sminor injury was aggravated by the assault he suffered at the hands of The Executioners. He will be taking 1 week off to recuperate.
Brad Armstrong has been cleared to return to action on 03/29, the night the Association will debut in Corpus Christi Texas.
[glow=blue,2,300]Breaking News[/glow] Popular Association grappler Al Snow has been chosen as the official spokesperson for the upcoming line of Association action figures to be made by Cosgrove Toys. “This is a huge honor for us.” Said Snow of the news. “Wrestlers don’t get Emmy nominations, we get action figures. This is something I take very seriously.” Snow’s companion, Head, could not be reached for comment.
In two weeks, The Association returns to The Vining Arena in Arkadelphia Arkansas with perhaps the most eagerly awaited main event yet! Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy will go one-on-one with his treacherous former partner ”Exotic” Adrian Street! Gordy has looked unstoppable since returning from injury (an injury Street helped inflect, let’s not forget), but Street has shown he is a big game player. This promises to be an explosive match for sure. Tickets go on sale at the Vining Arena box office this Saturday.
This week, the Association is set to debut in New Mexico, at the Greyhound Arena on the campus of East New Mexico State. The big main event will be the tag team title rematch between One Man Gang & The Mountie and former champions, The Mega-Bucks. Good seats are still available. [glow=purple,2,300]Power Rankings[/glow] 1)Killer Kowalski (1,-) Technically, the Association Heavyweight Champion lost this week in tag team action with “partner” John Pesek, but with his new allies Executioner #2 and Executioner #3, Kowalski made a statement this week, and it’s hard to picture anyone taking the title or the top spot in the rankings from him anytime soon. 2) Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy (4,+2) Terry Gordy’s revenge tour continues. The most recent recipient of his wrath: Ted DiBiase, the architect of Adrian Street’s treachery. In two weeks time, Gordy will finally get former partner Adrian Street one-on-one, but first Gordy’s got a big roadblock ahead of him in King Kong Bundy! 3) The Mega-Bucks (2,-1) Ted DiBiase guarantees that this time next, he and Andre the Giant will once again be the Association Tag Team Champions. It’s hard to bet against them, considering how dominant Andre has looked since debuting. 4)Curt Hennig(3,-1) It was a week of highs and lows for the second generation star this week. On the upside, he and Jimmy Snuka picked up a victory, and the Association board of regents officially named him the #1 contender for Killer Kowalski’s Heavyweight Championship. On the downside, he took a brutal beating at the hands of the massive Executioners. 5)”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka (5,-) Superfly has his plate super full these days. His rivalry with John Pesek continues, and his friendship with Curt Hennig puts him squarely in the Executioners’ sights. 6) Rob Van Dam (8,+2) RVD had a tough time with Justin Credible, but picked up the victory by DQ in the end. He also found a new ally in “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, who he’ll team with to battle each other’s long time rivals, Credible and Bob Orton Sr. this coming week. 7)One Man Gang(10,+3) The Tag Team champs looked like they were in trouble again this week, but One Man Gang would not be denied! He carried the Mountie to a huge win this week over Virgil and Adrian Street, gaining a little bit of payback for all he’s suffered since winning the titles, and giving the duo some much needed momentum heading into their first title defense this coming week. 8) Bob Orton Sr. (-) “Cowboy” Bob (the elder) returns to the Power Rankings after a dominating performance against “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. Next on the agenda, another confrontation with RVD, this time in a tag match with Justin Credible, against Van Dam and Duggan. 9)”Dr. Death” Steve Williams(-) After a tough start in the Association, things are starting to really click for “Dr. Death”. After an impressive win over King Kong Bundy in his home state, Williams will next face the king of the upset, Virgil. 10)Brian Kendrick & Paul London (7,-3) Week off after a tough lose to the Love Brothers was almost enough to drop the dynamic duo of Kendrick and London out of the Power Rankings. They’ll need a win this coming week against impressive new comers The Heavenly Bodies to hang on to this spot.

Wrestling Championship Association presented by The Guilty Party Card 1.9 03/01, Greyhound Arena, Portales, New Mexico
The Geryhound Arena in Portales New Mexico is normally home to the basketball teams of East New Mexico State, but tonight, it was home to the pulse pounding action of the Association! It was a night that saw big debuts, a huge title match, and a tag team battle for the ages!
Executioner #2 (with Executioner #3) defeated The 5th Beatle via pinfall. Killer Kowalski’s masked muscle made an impressive debut, utterly destroying masked journeyman, The 5th Beatle. Beatle tried at the outset to use a headlock against Executioner #2, but that had little effect. The big stud took over immediately, and proceeded to punish Beatle; finally ending things with a high-impact double-arm suplex.
Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy defeated King Kong Bundy via pinfall. Bam-Bam continues his winning streak, since returning from injury, he’s now won 4 straight. Perhaps knowing he couldn’t use his patented power-bomb against a foe as massive as Bundy, Gordy used his dreaded Oriental Spike to secure the victory.
Geeto Mongol (with Bepo Mongol) defeated Kip James (with B.G. James) via pinfall. These two teams argued after the Super Show at the Super-Pit, with the Mongols blaming the James Gang for their defeat in the four corners tag team match. This match was controlled pretty much from the out set by Geeto, who used his top rope knee drop to put Kip away. Kip showed great gutsiness, though, as it took 3 straight top rope knee drops for Geto to get the win.
Ray Stevens defeated Hartford Love (with Big Daddy Dink) via pinfall. Things continue to heat up between Stevens and the men managed by Big Daddy Dink. Though Hartford started strong, and despite the distraction of Dink and attempted interference by Hartford’s brother Reginald, Stevens battled back and would not be denied victory after hitting the bombs away! After the match, Reginald and Dink’s other charge, Masked Superstar attacked Stevens, but before they could do any serious damage, an unknown man ran out from the back and drove them off with a steel chair. Ray Stevens then took the house microphone and introduced the man as his new tag team partner Les Thatcher! Thatcher then challenged Reginald Love to a 1-on-1 match next week!
The Heavenly Bodies defeated Brian Kendrick & Paul London via pinfall. Once again, Association management representative Johnny Fairplay came out to personally introduce the duo of Lane and Pritchard; he then stuck around and, as he did last week, distracted the referee to the Bodies advantage. Despite Fairplay’s interference, London and Kendrick came close on several occasions to winning this match. But, after Tom Pritchard used his brass knuckles to bloody Kendrick, London found himself effectively out numbered. Lane and Pritchard used the flapjack to put him away, and Lane got the win for his team in what was an early match of the year candidate.
D’Lo Brown defeated The Destroyer via pinfall. Anytime these two meet, it’s been a terrific battle. This time was no different. For a time, it looked as though The Destroyer would once again prove too intelligent and too sensational for D’Lo, but Brown battled back, hit the Lo Down, and got the three count.
Bob Orton Sr. & Justin Credible defeated ”Hacksaw” Jim Duggan & Rob Van Dam via pinfall. Duggan and RVD started out strong, working over Credible with quick tags and keeping him isolated from Orton. Eventually though, Credible was able to turn the tide on his long time foe Duggan. He and Orton then proceeded to work Hacksaw over. At the end, Orton climbed to the top rope, and, after mocking RVD, connected with his own version of Van Dam’s signature frog splash! Duggan was able to kick out, barely, but Orton quickly followed up with his signature move, the piledriver, and there was no getting up from that for Duggan.
”Dr. Death” Steve Williams defeated Virgil via pinfall Remember that hot streak Virgil was on a few weeks ago with victories over Bob Armstrong and One Man Gang? Remember when he even cracked the power rankings? Yeah, that’s over. Dr. Death manhandled Virgil from the word go and quickly put him away with a devastating Oklahoma Stampede.
”Exotic” Adrian Street defeated Bob Armstrong via pinfall Street called this match a warm up before his big main event clash with Terry Gordy next week. He might have been looking past Armstrong, and nearly paid the price for it, as Bob was on fire early. Eventually though the crafty Street took control, and used his running crucifix pinning combination to get the win.
Main Event WCA Tag Team Championship Match The Mega-Bucks defeated defending championsOne Man Gang & The Mountie via pinfall to win the titles. Ted DiBiase is obsessed with the tag team gold. To insure he captured it the first time, he employed as his partner the massive Andre the Giant and paid off Adrian Street to turn on his partner in the finals. After losing the belts to The Mountie and his surprise partner One Man Gang in a shocking upset, DiBiase went on a vicious tear; assaulting Gang with a steel chair and even having his henchman Virgil steal Gang’s belt. For their part, Gang and Mountie have struggled since winning the belt, both to find the win column and to find some tag team continuity. So, perhaps it shouldn’t be surprising that the Mega-Bucks were able to recapture the gold fairly easily. OMG had DiBiase in trouble briefly early on, but a defensive tag to Andre put an end to that. After the 8th wonder of the world had softened Gang up, DiBiase tagged back in. Fittingly, it was DiBiase who got the pinfall after connecting with a crossbody block off the top rope. With Andre keeping the Mountie at bay, referee Bill Alfonso made a speedy three count. DiBiase’s loyal servant Vigil grabbed both championship belts for his employer, who retreated up the aisle while Mountie checked on Gang.
* With an exciting night in New Mexico behind us, the Association rolls on! We return to the Bill Vining Arena in Arkadelphia Arkansas next week, and we return to razorback country with one of the most eagerly awaited matches yet: Terry Gordy vs. Adrian Street, one-on-one in your big main event! * The Heavenly Bodies and Paul London & Brian Kendrick put on a match that fans in New Mexico aren’t likely to ever forget. With the win tonight, Stan Lane joined an exclusive club, becoming the first man since Andre the Giant on the first night of Association action to pin Paul London! Next week in Arkadelphia, he’ll try to do it again when the two face off in singles action. * Though he and Andre recaptured the gold tonight, he won’t have much time to celebrate. Next week, Ted DiBiase will be in singles action, taking on “Dr. Death” Steve Williams in a match with “Instant Classic” written all over it. * All this plus, RVD, Al Snow, Curt Hennig, Executioner #2, The Mongols, The Destroyer, and many more will be in action! The Association at “The Bill”! Be There!

Promoter’s commentary We might be late next week. What with travel for the holiday.
[glow=blue,2,300]Breaking News[/glow]
Fair or Foul? The Association board of governors issued a statement regarding the recent actions of management representative Johnny Fairplay. Mr. Fairplay, famed around the world for his involvement in the CBS reality TV series Survivor, has been the source of controversy in recent weeks. Since the debut of “Sweet” Stan Lane and ”The Doctor of Love” Tom Prichard Fairplay has taken an interest in the duo. Some say he’s crossed the line, actively becoming a party to their success, sighting as an example his distraction of the referee this past week while Tom Prichard used as pair of brass knuckles to bust open Brian Kendrick. The board stated through their official statement that the issue of Mr. Fairplay’s involvement with the The Heavenly Bodies was “under review”. Should the board find there to have been misconduct, Mr. Fairplay could face disciplinary actions including suspension with out pay or possibly dismissal. Mr. Fairplay declined to comment.
Big show coming to Corpus Christi On the 28th of March, the Association will make it’s debut in Corpus Christi. The event will be held under the lights and under the stars at Whataburger Field. Association management representative Johnny Fairplay, on hand in Corpus Christi for the announcement, stated that the big event would be highlighted by a main event appropriate to such an auspicious venue: WCA Heavyweight Champion Killer Kowalski will defend his title against number one contender Curt Hennig.
More Talent Joins the Association Drawn by the intense competition found only in the Association, one of the hottest young stars or today has signed a contract to join the ranks of the Association. Bryan Danielson, aka The American Dragon, will make his debut in two weeks at the Kitty Magee Arena when the Association returns to Denton Texas.
[glow=purple,2,300]Power Rankings[/glow] 1)The Mega-Bucks (3,+2) Ted DiBiase guarantied victory, then he and Andre went out and delivered in convincing fashion. They not only recaptured the gold, but the top spot in the rankings. 2) Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy (2,-) Bam-Bam has looked unstoppable since his return. This week, in a match ten weeks in the making, Gordy will finally get his shot at his treacherous former partner “Exotic Adrian Street. 3) Killer Kowalski (1,-2) The Heavyweight Champion was nowhere to be seen this week, but his presence was felt in a big way in the form of the impressive debut for his ally, Executioner #2. 4)Curt Hennig(4,-) The second generation star took the week off after suffering a brutal beating at the hands of Kowalski and his masked Executioners. He won’t, however, be easing back into things, as the number one contender has requested and been granted a match with number two… Executioner #2 to be exact. 5)”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka (5,-) Like Curt Henning, Snuka took a week to recover from the injuries inflected upon him by the Executioners. Like Hennig, Snuka is going to jump right back into the action when he teams with the James Gang to take on John Pesek and The Mongols. 6) Bob Orton Sr. (8,+2) “Cowboy” Bob (the elder) got a big win this week pinning “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. He also taunted Rob Van Dam by using RVD’s signature frog-splash to help secure the win. 7)”Dr Death” Steve Williams(9,+2) Williams continues to be on a hot streak, utterly destroying Virgil. Now, he’s got an appointment with Virgil’s boss, Ted DiBiase. 8) The Heavenly Bodies (-) Though the boys in locker room are grumbling about the assist the Bodies got from Association management representative Johnny Fairplay, there is no denying that “Sweet” Stan and “The Doctor of Love” have looked highly impressive since they’re debut. 9)”Exotic” Adrian Street(-) Yes, Street picked up a convincing win over Bob Armstrong, but the match everyone is talking about will be him against Terry Gordy this week! Both of these men are unbeaten in singles competition, and Street has shown that he can bring it for the big match like few can. Katie, bar the door, this one’s going to be explosive. 10)Ray Stevens (-) In terms of obstacles overcame, no one had a more impressive win this past week then Ray Stevens. Now, with new partner Les Thatcher by his side, Stevens is ready to take his war with Big Daddy Dink and his men to the next level.

Wrestling Championship Association presented by The Guilty Party Card 1.10 03/08, Bill Vining Arena, Arkadelphia, Arkansas
The Association returned to “The Bill” tonight with one of the most eagerly awaited main events in our history, Terry Gordy vs. Adrian Street! It was a night of controversial and intense action, let’s get right to it:
Masked Superstar (with Big Daddy Dink) defeated Larry Sharpe via submission. The masked man manhandled the self described “Pretty Boy” from the word go. He quickly locked in his Cobra Hold for a submission victory. After the match, Masked Superstar’s manager, Big Daddy Dink, took the microphone and proudly boasted that his man was the greatest submission grappler in all of wrestling.
Bob Orton Sr. & The Destroyer defeated Rob Van Dam & D’Lo Brown via disqualification. These are two red hot feuds here in the Association, as the hatred between Cowboy Bob (the elder) and RVD continues to boil and D’Lo and The Destroyer continue to turn in instant classics. This back and forth match broke down late, after the Destroyer used his sensational suplex to get the upper hand on RVD, he tagged in Orton, who ruthlessly took his rival apart. Though RVD refused to give up the fight, he was on the receiving end of two devastating Orton piledrivers. D’Lo came in to help his partner, and a wild brawl ensued. Surprisingly, referee David Garcia awarded the match to Orton and The Destroyer after the melee.
”Hacksaw” Jim Duggan defeated Justin Credible via pinfall. This length and violent feud played out in Arkadelphia, in what was surprisingly only the second one-on-one meeting between these rivals. Hacksaw got the hard fought victory, surviving Credible’s “That’s Incredible” finisher, and battling back to get the pin after a “tough guy” clothsline.
Al Snow defeated Iron Sheik via pinfall. A few weeks ago, Snow got a victory over Iron Sheik that the former AAU champion dismissed as a fluke. In this rematch, Snow proved that it was no fluke. Though he was in trouble often and looked the worse for wear at the end of the match (repeated kicks with Sheik’s allegedly loaded boot opened a gash on Snow’s brow that required more then half a dozen stitches to close), the Snowman persevered and got the victory after connecting with the Snow Plow.
”Sweet” Stan Lane defeated Paul London via pinfall. Association management representative Johnny Fairplay was once again on hand to see one half of the Heavenly Bodies in action. This time, however, rather then standing in the corner of Lane, he took a seat at the timekeeper’s table, far from the action. London was clearly hot to avenge the lose he and partner Bryan Kendrick suffered at the Heavenly Bodies hands (with an assist from Mr. Fairplay), which was only Paul London’s second pinfall loss. For a while, it seemed as though the athletic and agile London would get the retribution he sought, as he dominated Lane from the opening bell. After London connected with the 450 Splash, it looked like he had the match won, but oddly, the bell rang at 2, interrupting the referee’s count. London yelled in frustration, first at referee John Stiltz, and then at Johnny Fairplay, who protested his innocence. The distraction proved what Lane needed, as he turned the tide, hit London with a picture perfect superkick, and got the win.
Ted DiBiase (with Virgil and Andre the Giant) defeated ”Dr. Death” Steve Williams via submission. Williams has been on a hot streak in the last few weeks, but DiBiase has been riding high also, recapturing the WCA Tag Team titles with Andre the Giant last week. Speaking of Andre, DiBiase brought his largest investment to ringside with him as he squared off against the powerhouse Oklahoma native. The back and forth match up had a lot of potential, but it was the numbers game that proved the difference maker here. DiBiase sent Williams out of the ring, and with DiBiase and Virgil distracting the referee, Andre assaulted Dr. Death before sending him back into the ring, where DiBiase quickly locked on his Million Dollar Sleeper for the win.
Reginald Love (with Big Daddy Dink) defeated Les Thatcher via countout. Ray Stevens brought in Les Thatcher to help him even the odds in his on going feud with the Love Brothers. Thatcher made his debut in singles action in Arkadelphia, taking on the defacto leader of the Love Brothers, Reginald. Things looked good for Thatcher for a time, almost getting the win with his Stump-puller, but Dink provided a vital distraction that let his man take control. Eventually, the action spilled out of the ring, and Love hit Thatcher with a powerbomb on the outside of the ring! Thatcher tried to get to his feet and answer the referee’s count, but Dink, who had crawled under the ring, grabbed Thatcher’s ankle, and prevented him from getting into the ring in time.
”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & The James Gang versus The Mongols & John Pesek ended in a no contest. Before the match began, Gary Michael Cappetta announced that Bepo the Mongols powerhouse, had been forced to return to Croatia due to a family emergency. To replace him, Cappetta introduced a new member of the tag team, Bolo Mongol! Young Bolo got a rough introduction to the Association, as shortly after this match began, WCA Heavyweight Champion Killer Kowalski and his two masked enforcers Executioner #2 and #3 stormed the ring! They attacked the James Gang, Snuka, Bolo, and anyone else who got in their way. The referee threw the match out, and then headed for the hills. Kowalski then took the mic and announced that Executioner #2’s match with Curt Hennig was starting right now!
Curt Hennig defeated Executioner #2 via disqualification. The number 1 contender did not back down, immediately coming out and facing off against the massive #2. Though Executioner #2 had a clear power advantage, Hennig had speed and heart on his size. He had Executioner #2 in trouble, connecting with an amazing Hennig-plex on the masked giant. But Kowalski wasn’t going to watch his rival get the pin, and pulled Hennig out of the ring, assaulting him. While Hennig and Kowalski brawled, Snuka and the James Gang came back out and fought the Executioners, evening the odds.
Main Event ”Exotic” Adrian Street defeated Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy via pinfall Gordy has been looking for payback since the night ten weeks ago when Adrian Street betrayed him, selling him out to The Mega-Bucks. But if there’s one thing we’ve learned since then, it’s to never underestimate the craftiness of “Exotic” Adrian Street. Street took a pounding early on, but managed to survive. He even took a devastating powerbomb from Gordy, but managed to kick out after a ridiculously slow count by referee Bill Alfonso. Street endured, and after being sent into the corner, dodged a charging Gordy and got a quick rollup victory with a handful of tights and a fast count by Alfonso.
* Gordy was not pleased with the outcome of his match with Street, and is already demanding a rematch. He will get another shot at the flamboyant one next week, when he teams with “Dr. Death” Steve Williams to take on Street and Ted DiBiase. * The war between The Love Brothers and Les Thatcher and Ray Stevens will escalate another notch next week when the two duos meet in tag team action for the first time! * Another superstar will debut in the Association next week! The American Dragon, Bryan Danielson will debut, taking on the hapless 5th Beatle. * It all leads up to the explosive double main event! First, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka will battle WCA Heavyweight Champion Killer Kowalski in a non-title match, and then, Rob Van Dam will battle Cowboy Bob Orton Sr. in a Bell Avenue Street Fight! All this and more, next week when the Association returns to the Kitty Magee Arena in Denton Texas!

[glow=blue,2,300]Breaking News[/glow]
New Championship Announced! The Association board of governors announced that a new title would be added to the prestigious ranks of the Wrestling Championship Association Heavyweight and Tag Team championships. The new title will be called the WCA Heritage Championship. The tournament to crown the first holder of this new belt will began on March 28th as part of the Association’s big debut in Corpus Christi. The first round of this tournament will be a “Lethal Lottery” round. Sixteen competitors will be randomly divided into eight teams of two. Those teams will then face off against each other. The members of the four winning teams will then face off against each other in a single elimination tournament. More details, including the Lethal Lottery pairings will be announced in the coming weeks.
8-man Elimination Match Next Week Whenever the Association returns to the home office in Denton Texas, you know it’s going to be a night of insane action. This week, when “The Big Cat”, the Kitty Magee Arena on the campus of TWU is once again home to the superstars of the Association will be no different. For the fans in Denton, the Association will be putting on one of it’s signature matches, the eight man elimination tag match! On one side will be the team of ”Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, former Tag Team Champion One Man Gang, Al Snow, and D’Lo Brown. They’ll battle the team of The Destroyer, Iron Sheik, Justin Credible, and Virgil.
Fairplay Given Slap on the Wrist; London & Kendrick Unsatisfied Anyone who watched the match between ”Sweet” Stan Lane and Paul London agrees that London had the match won until the timekeeper’s bell mysteriously rang, breaking up a pinning situation. Though no one saw him ring the bell, Johnny Fairplay, reality TV star, Association management representative, and self-described “world’s biggest Heavenly Bodies fan”, happened to be sitting at the timekeeper’s table. In response to this, the latest in a string of clear and alleged interventions on the Heavenly Bodies behalf by Mr. Fairplay, the Association board of governors voted 4 to 1 to suspend Johnny Fairplay, with out pay, for one week. “This is a joke,” Said London in response to news of Fairplay’s suspension. “Apparently, the only penalty for this sort of egregious behavior is a week’s vacation. No worries though, we’ll get even with The Heavenly Bodies in the ring.” That payback will have to wait though. Lane and his partner ”Doctor of Love” Tom Prichard refuse to compete this week, in protest of the “grossly unfair treatment” Mr. Fairplay received.
[glow=purple,2,300]Power Rankings[/glow] 1)The Mega-Bucks (1,-) With a victory over Steve Williams, DiBiase and company hold on to the number one spot. This coming week, one half of the tag team champions, Ted DiBiase, will team up with “Exotic” Adrian Street. It’s a safe bet that the French Colossus will be at ringside. 2) Killer Kowalski (3,+1) The Heavyweight Champion has been making an impact with swagger, arrogance, and two massive masked henchmen in the form of Executioners #2 and # 3. This coming week in Denton, he’ll be going one-on-one with one of the terrible trios victims, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka. 3) Curt Hennig (4,+1) Curt Hennig looked good against Executioner #2, he had the big man in trouble until Kowalski got involved. At the Kitty Magee Arena, he’ll get another crack at the masked men when he battles Executioner #3. 4)Bob Orton Sr.(6,+2) “Cowboy” Bob (the elder) looked dominant in beating down RVD in tag action this week. Now, he’ll try to put an exclamation point on this long running rivalry in a “Bell Avenue Street Fight”. 5)”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka (5,-) Snuka and his partners, The James Gang, had a rough night, being assaulted by Kowalski and his masked muscle. Snuka will be looking for some payback when he battles Kowalski in a non-title match. 6) The Heavenly Bodies (8,+2) We may never know who was behind the phantom bell ring (yeah we do) but the fact is that “Sweet” Stan beat London in the middle of the ring. Now the Bodies are taking the week off, and London and Kendrick can only stew about it. 7)”Exotic” Adrian Street(9,+2) With a little friendly officiating from Bill Alfonso and a big handful of tights, Adrian Streetwon the first ever one-on-one meeting with his arch rival Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy. Next the two will meet in tag team action. 8) Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy (2,-6) Biased officiating made it pretty much a handicap match, but Gordy will get another crack at Street when he teams with Dr. Death this week. 9)”Dr. Death” Steve Williams(7,-2) Dr. Death fell victim to DiBiase and Andre the Giant’s numbers game this past week. In Denton, the odds will be evened when Dr. Death and Terry Gordy team up to face DiBiase and Street. 10)Al Snow (-) The Snowman was blooded but unbroken when he faced off against the Iron Sheik in Arkansas. Now, Snow will join forces three other superstars and try to keep his hot streak going in an 8 man elimination tag match.

Good card coming up, but the launch of the Heritage Title sounds like a good idea which could spawn many different avenues for your roster. Good job and I am rooting that the team of Mr.X and the Fifth Beatle gets a berth in the Lethal Lottery! :-)

Wrestling Championship Association presented by The Guilty Party Card 1.11 03/15, Kitty Magee Arena, Denton, Texas
There’s no place like home, and for The Association home is Denton Texas. With the action back in the Big Cat, the Association thrilled the faithful in attendance with an exciting debut, a big 8-man elimination tag match, and a thrilling main event!
Bryan Danielson defeated The 5th Beatle via submission. In his debut match in the Association, The American Dragon, Bryan Danielson took apart the hapless masked journeyman. Devastating him with a flurry of kicks before locking in The Cattle Mutilation submission hold for an impressive and easy victory.
The Love Brothers (with Big Daddy Dink) defeated Ray Stevens & Les Thatcher via pinfall. This feud continues to heat up. This match started out with a dizzyingly fast pace, with neither team able to keep the advantage for long. Eventually though, it was the Love Brothers’ expertise at keeping an opponent in there corner that enabled them to isolate and wear down Thatcher. Thatcher tried to battle back, and tried to make the tag to Stevens, but in the end, he was caught by Hartford with a neckbreaker, giving the hateful hippies the win.
Eight-Man Elimination Tag Match Justin Credible, The Destroyer, Iron Sheik, & Virgil defeated One Man Gang, Al Snow, D’Lo Brown, & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. Duggan began the match for his team, squaring off against Iron Sheik. Duggan started strong, but Sheik out wrestled him. Once Iron Sheik got Duggan down, all three of his teammates took a turn working the Glen Fall native over, before Virgil slapped on a Cobra Clutch for a quick and surprising elimination. With Hacksaw gone, One Man Gang quickly came in and went after Virgil, looking to even the score. Despite getting pounded by the former tag team champion for a while, Virgil was able to eventually make the tag to the Iron Sheik. The fight between Gang and Iron Sheik spilled out onto the floor, where Iron Sheik whipped Gang into the ring post, earning himself a disqualification and evening the sides at three each. Virgil came back in, looking to capitalize on the damage the Iron Sheik’s illegal move had done, but OMG was able to battle back and tag in Al Snow. Snow came in, and was super aggressive, dominating Virgil. But that aggression cost the Snowman, as he was caught nailing Virgil with Head and was disqualified, putting his team in a 3-2 hole. OMG came back in, and tried to finish Virgil off, but the bodyguard showed remarkable resilient, battled back, and caught OMG in the Cobra Clutch for another surprising submission elimination. That left D’Lo with a 3-on-1 disadvantage. D’Lo may be a CPA, but it doesn’t take an accountant to see that math doesn’t add up. Brown fought hard, but the numbers were to much to overcome, and in the end Justin Credible used the superkick to put D’Lo away and win the match for his team.
The Mountie defeated King Kong Bundy via pinfall. The former tag team champion was out to get back in the win column. He started out aggressively going after Bundy, and dominated the big man from the get go. Mountie looked to be in top form heading into the Heritage Championship tournament, getting an impressive win after the short choke slam.
BG James (with Kip James) defeated Bolo Mongol (with Geto Mongol) via pinfall. The score between these two teams is now even, after BG James pinned new Mongol Bolo after a quick DDT. There was some post match shoving that was quickly broken up by Association officials, leading Kip James to grab the house microphone and issue a challenge for next week in New Orleans.
”Dr. Death” Steve Williams & Terry “Bam-Bam” Gordy defeated Ted DiBiase and “Exotic” Adrian Street (with Virgil) via disqualification. Last week, the massive Andre the Giant aided his employer Ted DiBiase in ending Dr. Death’s hot streak, while biased officiating from Bill Alfonso left Gordy frustrated in his quest for revenge against Street. This week, with no Andre at ringside and no Alfonso calling the match, things turned out very differently. The duo some call “The Miracle Violence Connection” dominated the duo of DiBiase and Street, beating them from pillar to post. When it seemed that Williams had the match won with an Oklahoma Stampede on DiBiase, Street came in and wholloped Dr. Death with DiBiase’s tag team championship belt. Though referee John Stiltz immediately disqualified the pair of Street and DiBiase, that was far from the end of the action. A wild brawl followed, which end with DiBiase and Street being clothslined out of the ring. A triumphant Williams and Gordy celebrated in the ring, with Williams pantomiming the belt around his waist while pointing at DiBiase.
Executioner #3 defeated Curt Hennig via disqualification. The rivalry between number one contender Curt Hennig and WCA Heavyweight champion Killer Kowalski and his two goons the Executioners is red hot right now. The heat got turned up another notch tonight, when Henning and Executioner #3 threw down. This was a battle of conflicting styles, as the Executioner tried to control the match with his power, while the second generation star used his quickness and athleticism to confound the masked man. Eventually, Hennig took control, and connected with The Axe, sending Executioner #3 to the arena floor. Hennig then went for a death defying over the top rope, a move which he’s had much success with lately, only to have #3 move out of the way! Hennig crashed hard into the railing at ring side. While Hennig struggled to get up on the outside, Executioner #3 took a running leap off the ring apron to attack Hennig with a double axe handle. Hennig though, quickly threw a chair that he had been using to steady himself into the rapidly descending Executioner’s face! Executioner #3 was knocked out cold, and referee David Garcia had no choice but to disqualify Hennig.
Bell Avenue Street fight Rob Van Dam defeated Bob Orton Sr. via pinfall. One of the most intense feuds in the Association got an exclamation point put on it in Denton tonight when RVD and Cowboy Bob (the elder) collided in a wild and insane brawl. Orton controlled the action early, beating RVD with a lead pipe and brawling outside the ring. Eventually the action spilled not only into the audience, but out of the building and out on to Bell Avenue, bringing traffic to a screeching halt! Orton tried to use on of the cars that had stopped to witness the fight as a weapon, but Van Dam reversed it, whipping Orton into a 2007 Mitsubishi Raider! From then on, Van Dam was in control. The two brawled back into the arena, where Van Dam connected with a Rolling Thunder for a two count. Van Dam then set a garbage can in front of Orton’s face while he sat in the corner, climbed to the opposite corner, and connected with an awesome Van Terminator! Thee seconds later, and RVD emerged victorious.
Main Event Non-Title match WCA Heavywight Champion Killer Kowalski (with Executioners 2 & 3) defeated ”Superfly” Jimmy Snuka via pinfall. Because of his friendship with number one contender Curt Hennig, “Superfly” found himself on the receiving end of a beatdown from Killer Kowalski and the Executioners last week. This was Snuka’s chance for some payback, and for a time, it looked like he’s get it. Snuka started strong, and had the champion in trouble with leaping headbutts. Kowalski took a powder on the arena floor. Snuka followed, but the presence of the Executioners provided the distraction that Kowalski needed to get the jump on Snuka outside. Once he took over, Kowalski showed the ruthless efficiency that made him champion, as he proceeded to take Snuka apart, finally putting him away with a giant swing. After the match, the Executioners came in and held Snuka down while Kowalski applied his dreaded Kowalski claw. Hennig and RVD ran out from the back, swinging steel chairs to drive off the terrible trio, but the damage may have been done as Snuka had to be helped to the back.
* Next week in New Orleans, at the Chamber of Horrors, Jimmy Snuka’s participation in the main event, a tag team match where he is scheduled to team with Curt Hennig to take on the Executioners, is in doubt. RVD has already expressed a willingness to fill in for Superfly. We’ll keep you posted through out the week. * Challenge accepted! Next week, the James Gang and the Mongols will go head-to-head in tag team action! * The Miracle Violence Connection will get another crack at Ted DiBiase when they join forces with One Man Gang to take on Iron Sheik and the WCA Tag Team Champions, The Mega-Bucks, in one of two big six man tag team matches on the card for New Orleans. * All this, plus Bryan Danielson, The Love Brothers, D’Lo Brown, “Hacksaw Jim Duggan, “Doctor of Love” Tom Pritchard, and Bob Orton Sr. will be in action!
